I think this is impossible. First, the use of bitcoin cash is much lower than that of bitcoin. Secondly, bitcoin cash is still not realized as a payment method in life!

Bitcoin cash being a replacement for Bitcoin is a hoax, among many other reasons for the fork was due to slow confirmation of Bitcoin transactions but in all indications that has been improved on and with lower fees too unlike before, bch also have it's usefulness for payments but not replacing Bitcoin

It is totally impossible to replace bitcoin by the bitcoin cash as this is very new in this market and bitcoin cash has very less market share. The processing power of bitcoin cash is slow .It will not be able to replace bitcoin.

Currently it seems that this cannot happen in coming years. Even after making many changes and having a hard fork, bitcoin cash is still behind bitcoin and even behind eth and xrp. Bitcoin cash needs to scale at a very faster rate if it needs to beat bitcoin.

Increasing the blocksize is much easier than implementing solutions such as SegWit and Schnorr signatures. It took some time for SegWit adoption to reach its current level. Theoretically, we have a maximum of 4 MB block weight which was introduced by a SegWit soft-fork. Bitcoin Cash's method of scaling is much simpler but it might lead to some serious problems in the future (node centralization). Lightning Network payments on Bitcoin are much faster and cheaper than on-chain Bitcoin Cash transactions.

I don't think it is near the reliability that bitcoin itself has at the moment, and a lot of time is required for bch to get to that point, even decades.

More than a year ago,  bitcoin cash was born. It separated from bitcoin in order to improve transaction efficiency. And although the devs  itend to provide higher transaction speed and lower commission, the coin value  dropped in a few times since the height and the big holders suffer great losses. Maybe the idea of the fork is not bad and behind the creation are serious people, but while the team has no unity and talking about the possibility of another fork -  BCH won't go to the moon.

This is not possible actually. Bitcoin is the first in this market and now it is the market leader and there are other coins that are also doing well in this market. Bitcoin cash is very new and the processing speed is also low so it is not possible for this to replace bitcoin at all.

Bitcoin Cash cannot be replaced by BTC. Ths is complete balderdash. BTC will be the most preferred and globally accepted means of payment.

Bitcoin is the first digital currency which has the most popularity than any other cryptocurrency. It has a large profit for miners. So there is no fork that has ability to overtake or replace Btc including Btc cash.

In this current era it doesn't have the potential to out-shine bitcoin. But in the near future we all don't know how it potentials will grow to. So I will say its under maybe.

I doubt it, because B-Cash is only a cheap copy of original Bitcoin promoted with a lot of Bullshit comments. B-Cash was created for founders profit wins only. And it's likely that the market shares of B-Cash will decrease accordingly.

After all this news about BCH I hardly doubt that it will ever be able to challenge bitcoin when most of the exchanges are treating BCH just like any other ALT. Basically there is only one Bitcoin and this forks that came after I don't see anything special in them,sorry.

BCH still has a higher price than ETH, but it will not replace BTC. When compared to prices, BCH is still far from BTC, and the community is also far less than BTC.

I think it is impossible for Bitcoin cash to take place of bitcoin. I mean just look at the price difference. When bitcoin cash price is just around $502, bitcoin price is $6423. This huge difference is enough evidence that it can never beat bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency of the world. It is accepted and used in different places of the world where Bitcoin Cash in not that much introduced. I don’t think it will possible to BCH to replace BTC.

It Bitcoin Cash would have replace Bitcoin, it had happened in 2017 where people are complaining about Bitcoin huge transaction fees and slow confirmation times. Bitcoin Cash touted to be big blockers and as such very quick and could be the Bitcoin killer. But it didn't happened so I guess logic dictates that people will still stick with Bitcoin ecosystem even if there's competition. I believe that this can not be. Because using bitokoynskih money is much lower than the use bitkoyna. I think that bitcoin will be used as earnings on the Internet.

This would have been really taken seriously if the way bitcoin was going in terms of slow transaction and very high fees but that has been looked upon and sorted. Now transacting with bitcoin is reasonably fast and the fee is cheaper; so in my view, saying that bitcoin cash will take over from bitcoin core might not be realized.

I don't think it will happen in the near future or in the distant future.  If Bitcoin is to be dethroned it will be by a government coin with a gun pointed at anyone who doesn't use it or it will be the most revolutionary technological breakthrough dealing with instant transactions.  That means it will not be a shit fork coin. 

How can anyone think that bitcoin cash will replace bitcoin! I mean just look at the price differences, popularity difference and market position difference between the coins. Bitcoin cash will never be able to take over bitcoin’s market.

Bitcoin cash is only a bitcoin fork and like other forks it is also useless. It seemed very well at the begining but, it turned out to be a useless thing like other forks so, it can never replace bitcoin.

I think that is too impossible and it doesn't make sense in my mind, if Bitcoincash (BCH) wants or will replace Bitcoin (BTC). There is no calculation formula or calculation that leads there. It was only in a dream during the day, and woke up then realized that it was very unlikely. Still too far from many reasons or factors. ;D ;D

And to add, if they want to replace bitcoin, more merchants and payment systems should be adopting bitcoin cash.
But the trend says otherwise, merchants are dropping bitcoin cash and bitcoin is still the number 1 choice across the globe.

The reason I ask is BCH has a well documented history of coordinated attacks on btc to "take it down" and to pump bch.
These are almost always starting with posts and "news" getting circulated around that bch can replace btc.
Usually escalating to those prediciting that btc is done and BCH is the "Real" bitcoin.

Then, what happens?
BCH stakeholders mass sell their btc to drop the price of btc.
Oh! Those predictions must be correct! Then the masses flock to bch.

The only problem is, it never lasts.  People see right through it and just as fast as it pumps, it also crashes.
BCH, along with Ripple, are the two that I will never ever invest in.

I have never had such thoughts, still far from expectations if I want to replace bitcoin. Bitcoin chas management is not like bitcoin which is skilled enough to control the market, so many altcoins appear and try to shift the position of bitcoin, and that is nothing. The coin will not be replaced.

I don't think BCASH will replace BTC ever, also I don't believe in it at all purely because of Roger Ver being involved in it. I stay away from projects which Roger Ver publicly advertise, just like the recent token MoneyToken being advertised by him. They gain lots of money in ICO purely because he was involved in it and I'm pretty sure he must have gotten the MoneyToken tokens at atleast 90% discount than ICO price. Moreover there's no surety when he'll sell his all holdings in support of new fork which his team will create. He is a shit person in this crypto space, better to stay away from such people.

That is impossible. Bitcoin is the pioneer of crypto currency and there will be no other coin that can surpass it. To be honest, I don't see any point in comparing the two because the difference between them is like heaven and earth. They are using the same name but it doesn't mean that they are comparable to each other.

I do not ever see this happening, there was a real buzz around Bitcoin Cas shortly after it was launched but its value peaked at about 20% of 1 Bitcoin and it is now less than 10% of 1 Bitcoin. So for the foreseeable future I think we will still see Bitcoin as the top dog in the crypto world.

As far as I know, people keeps on speculating whether or not a certain altcoin can replace bitcoin as the king of crypto whether it's ethereum, ripple etc. Time will tell.

Why did you come to this conclusion? It seems to me that everything you say is built on a very strange understanding that the world is still very volatile, I can not deny that this in general can never happen, because quite recently there have been serious disputes about segwit.

I don't think Bitcoin Cash will really be able to displace Bitcoin. The real Bitcoin chain simply has more support and i don't think that will change in the future. It will only become clear in the next few months whether it will stay that way, but so far it looks like it will. We will certainly hear about Bitcoin Cash for a long time to come and he will certainly continue to try to displace Bitcoin, but it will probably only remain a fork of Bitcoin forever and he will never become the king of crypto. But that's just my opinion.  :)

LTC compliments Bitcoin.  It's faster and cheaper to transfer just not as secure.  Bcash is just a parasite that does nothing better than Bitcoin.  Nothing at all.

I still wonder why some people keep letting Roger Ver fool them. As far as I am concerned, it is just another shitty useless fork of a coin that has only been able to gain its position because it ended up forking from bitcoin and nothing else. I owe no apology to the fans of BCH, because all I see every day is a manipulated market in which it is more like a one man's show who is just trying to make his coin gain some relevance by manipulating it and not by contributing anything tangible to the crypto space. What really makes BCH different from any other shit coins out there? Nothing! They are just all in the same category of shit coins and nothing else.

In my opinion i think its a imposible for BCH to replace BTC cause BCH is a BTC forking and not offer a new idea, a new technology and a new usecase. There is a lot of coin/token who is more good than BCH itself. I am no offense but I only see the fact. If talk about a coin/token who can replace BTC, i think it will be ETH. Generally, this is something that is actually not possible to see happen. Let Roger Ver do whatever he likes to raise his shoulders and try to make it seem relevant, nothing changes the fact that it remains a forked and unnecessary coin, and will always be in the category of an altcoin and even a shit coin as far as I am concerned.

The market to me is even over priced at this stage, thanks to the fact that Roger Ver actually was one of the few ones who started in this space early and had a lot of btc stash which he was able to use to pump his own coin but that is what it would ever be, just a pump and dump coin.

There is no way that a forked coin is going to replace the king of all of the coins as the best coin in the market, it is a good coin for a forked coin and it has managed to gather a lot of followers behind it who support the coin and that is good but using it to compare bitcoin is wrong, it will be in its own lane and will be one of the many coins behind while bitcoin leads the market

I do not believe that bitcoin cash will or can eventually replace bitcoin. They will certainly try, but i do not think they will succeed.

BCH is really a strong project, as the last situation showed us, but I still think that in general it is rubbish in comparison with the BTC project or with other global projects, because it has not been applied. Maybe today I do not see the possibility of application, but I really do not understand.

If it was going to replace Bitcoin it would have done it already. The original idea was to create something that worked better as a payment medium. Unfortunately it is only marginally better as a payment system and there are other competitors that work even better. It also lost a lot of credibilty about how it has reacted to a fork being created of itself.

Not at all, bitcoin remains the most secure coin of all of the coins and with coins like bitcoin cash, they are just piggybacking off the success of bitcoin, they do not have any real projects of their own, no uniqueness, it's basically like how a copy cat operates. I truly doubt it, the only currency of the 2 being replaced is Bitcoin (Crash), it will have a hardfork in the near future and be replaced with something called Bitcoin ABC if I am correct. It will not REPLACE BITCOIN, IT WILL SIMPLY FORK. I FOR ONE DO NOT LIKE BCH.

No ,  Bitcoincash can't replace bitcoin and it can't be a king of crypto . I didn't find any reasons and opportunities for bitcoincash to defeat bitcoin  ETH  and XRP in this cryptocurrency market.

The possibility of bitcoin being irreplaceable, bitcoin cash requires a lot of strategies and new innovations to be able to shift Eth and XRP, it takes a long time to do that or on the contrary, it becomes a useless coin. It's not an understatement but it really has to be passed and in the top 10 in CMC it will be better than having to predict too high.
