Why is the cryptocurrency market falling today?All cryptocurrencies have fallen a lot this year.Does it mean that this market is going to end?

Considering your registering date, 10/2016 means that you are aware of BTC/crypto since below 1k BTC. @ that time ppl were very excited because the market was coming back from a big bear period and there was a lot of discussion of when we would hit 1k...
That being said you should know this is another market cycle, with IMHO two big diferences:

1- Much more users are aware - that means that the next rally will be even bigger than the last one
2- A lot of coins and ICO that failed and might not recover. That menas that not every shitcoin one owns will rally with the Bull market.

So just keep a diversified portfolio, do a good research on projects and relax just a little more.

You are already a Senior member but you arent still familiar on how this market behaves? We have seen countless fall and dips of this market and still it is standing and come to think that we are already on higher prices comparing on previous years.We can just eventually say these things that the market will die is when we do see it goes lower into its ATH which is a normal reaction but coming to a point where you do make conclusions then its not right anymore.

But I try my best to believe that this is not the end. Well, the crypto-currency market can not fall. Not today and not in the near future! It remains only to hope!

Which of the coin arrived because I haven't see any change yet in the market I just continue falling I don't understand the present market situation.

The price of bitcoin for instance, can rise up to $ 1000 in just one hour, you can imagine it happening. So my logic is to think, it's natural that the price of bitcoin decreases by more than $ 1000 within an hour or in a few hours. This point out of the crypto currency market movement is still in reasonable condition because it could be that after the decline now in the next few hours or days the price of crypto currency can rise again.

I thought before its because of the silkroad's wallet activity.

The market would end that badly, are you new to this type of market? The crypto market hasn't been so good many times and not only for this year but for some other years.

Red day, In the last 2 day. The prices of all the cryptocurrencies have been on a free fall. because there is bad news for crypto. market do not going end, I believe the market will go back up quite soon.

Guys, aren't you just tiring of meaningless wondering if the market's big fall has arrived? Let's look at your worst case scenario. You're holding alts that have dropped 90-95%. This is because let's assume you bought at a high and you thought you were gonna be a holder.

OK so let's say the absolute worst continues to happen and market dies. Forever.

You lose 5-10% more. Big deal, right?

But let's say the market doesn't die, and recovers even just to 20% of ATH. That means you make between 2x to 4x more from today.

So what's the point of being so down? The market doesn't always need to be a bull. Just roll with it.

This scenario already happened in the past do some research and track the past history of crypto, market is high volatile hence its not a surprise if we are experiencing price decline.

Instead of wondering why the prices of coins are falling treat this positively, better to buy more and invest in your favorite coins since dip is a good timing to buy and hodl.

I think now is not the time to fall, maybe because of the slanting news and rising dollar prices affect all businesses in the world of trade and digital money, I hope we patiently wait and keep working well

I don't understand why the market decline means the end? Then the stock and futures markets will fall every day, does that mean they will all die?

This is the first time you seeing the price fall in the crypto currency? No right this happened many times earlier too but bitcoin and the crypto currencies were still exist so it is not going to be the end of crypto currencies it is just another price dump maybe man made too so better have some strategy to survive this hard days will give the more benefits later on.

I believe it is just one of those threads. We are going to keep seeing such threads that creates fear in the system while crypto keeps getting stronger.

Don't be surprised that such thread will still exist when price gets to $20,000. I don't worry over that because even the fiat currency sometimes goes down but it never dies.

Inexperienced people are the ones who are saying that when the market declines, it means the whole world to them and they are assuming that will finally end up the market easily. They don't have any other analysis and basis for its current state but all they think is the end.

They don't like what they are seeing so they are just telling what they feel. But sooner or later they will be able to see the good part of these corrections and falls that we've been experiencing for how many months already.

this is part of a dirty game, they spread the issue and panic causes prices to fall. maybe this is part of their strategy to get the cheapest price. strangely this is repeated and they always succeed.

For some one who has been in the crypto world since years..it is not a very new thing market has been sometimes very down and can increase drastically also at some time...we just need to have patience and a diversified portfolio of some best coins

Yes bro you are right the crypto market was falled around 10 and more % in single day it was to bad to see, from Bitcoin price was 7300 USD but it was falled less than 6200 Mark and now it's trading around 6500usd I hope we will get good results in crypto market very soon.

We actually have here the demand an d supply situation and yes people here made decisions that could change and movement of the market.

Plus people or crypto investors got to have to get bitcoin or any other altcoin when it was in a low value state for it's correction and when the value was low they buy and when it was rising we cant stop people Ideas to buy and "sell" bitcoin. Like its posible the the market gets high we cant stop people from selling there altcoins and bitcoin so it maybe the the reason for it. 

Down fall of a man may not be the end of that man, falling of the coin market cap is not a new thing in business,and that is not the end of the cryptocurrencies.

This just shows we are still in a bear market. the price fluctuates from time to time but in the end, the down trend continues.

I think this will be over soon, the price is attractive enough for new money to come in. I think this is the bottom already and the trend will soon reverse.

I was used to the down market and the red color, so sometimes I feel so anxious and hesitant when there is a little blue back. The prices of all the cryptocurrencies is not important, always thinking about keep the value of your $ to protect your asset.

The market is becoming more and more like the 2014 bear market. I am not saying that It will actually last as long as back then, but it clearly has similarities. Personally I think we’ve seen the worst already, however an other drop of ~50%+ in btc wouldn’t be surprising.

I do not think that this is so serious that we can consider this an end, I think everything will be adjusted by the end of the year and will be more stable.

How dare you say that crypto is going to end. LMAO. I agree that the price goes on another plunge today but it doesn't mean that it gonna die. Actually, this may signal that the bear trend might come to an end because the price has also bottom. And we all know that once the price goes on the floor price, people see it as a perfect buying point. And when we know that the speculative reason why the price suddenly goes down again, people will flock on the market once more. I'm thinking that maybe whales or traders who uses bot trigger the avalance of selling orders resulting in a panic.

Seriously there are too many people that are panicking now that's caused by this market situation. And that tend to make everyone see coins on a dumping situation as you see there are too many coins that are now on bargain. This fall will be taken over by bear soon but we don't have any idea when.

Its normal situation  in the market we dont need to over think it.  Instead of getting feared about this situation why we will not made our best stategy. If the price is dump we can for alternative ways instead of selling coins we need to hold more. It is the best way to respond in this situation in the market.

Boss,  (sure, I'd call you Boss), there's no such thing as Market Ending for real. New coins are coming up steadily and new blockchain projects are coming right behind them.

For real though, the dip has been really scary and at a point when ETH got below 200$ many holders reconsidered the HODLing principle, including myself. But  then, we can't all jump ship at thesame time.

Looking forward to the end of the  year though... Let's see if some crazy stunts might happen again
