Word has it they have closed shop so if that's truly the case you'll never see your btc again.

Flexcoin, a Canada-based bitcoin bank, said it was closing down after losing bitcoins worth about $600,000 to a hacker attack enabled by flaws in its software code.

Flexcoin said in a message on its website that all 896 bitcoins stored online were stolen on Sunday.

My condolences for your loss but you should still be able to claim the ones in cold storage according to the article from the Cbc

The bank did say however, that any customers who had bitcoins held in so-called "cold storage" — not on the site online servers and therefore safe from digital attack — can still retrieve their funds free of charge.

Thank you all for your replies.

I am not sure if my coins will be returned or not. I am unaware if my coins where in cold storage or not?

As this is a considerable amount of money It might be worth my while looking down the legal route? If anyone has any information regarding this it would be greatly appreciated. The owner of the website is James Gray and he lives in Canada Edmonton.

Commiserations

A bitcoin bank is such a bad idea that it saddens me to hear about folks who have lost out thru trusting them

Sorry to hear of your loss.   :(  Best way to keep BTC safe is in your own wallet.  Stay safe out there.
