As we all know, Theymos doesn't communicate to the Members of these forum frequently. Although the forum has a lot of problems facing on the line, he doesn't bother himself from hiring new mods to help him from the tasks.

As pugman says, maybe theymos is really working in a one man company... but have you ever think maybe satoshi is still there supporting theymos behind the scenes? And maybe this is the reason why theymos hasn't decide any of the possible solutions yet?

And in addition, who will take the place of the current position if theymos will quit from this just like satoshi does from back then. ;)

Just a "crazy thinking" - maybe Theymos is a god?  

Look at planet earth - a god created it in six days and maintained it for 6,000 years.

Now it is falling apart and he doesn't communicate for 2,018 years.   That is infrequent.  

Really a good question. Might, we have a decentralized forum afterwards and the Byzantine generals here find a consensus of Proof of working together to solve the at least 51% of the problems in this forum.  They might quickly ban the dust members and might take some step that might increase the current TPS of the incoming funds in this forum.

Let's just take a step forward and say, "Theymos is Satoshi"!!

As far as improvements go, I am not sure if we really need them. BTT is the kind of place which just keeps going on. Doesn't matter if it looks outdated or a bit spammy or without any shiny new features. New projects will keep launching and their subsequent Ann and bounty threads. New people will keep coming to the crypto world and one way or the other find and use BTT.

Also as far as I know, Theymos is not the only guy in control of BTT. I read somewhere that Cobra has far more control than Theymos. And since he is now in the BitcoinCash camp, and BTT being more aligned to Bitcoin; so it could be that Cobra doesn't want BTT to evolve or doesn't care.

Now that's a crazy theory!! Let's see if someone can verify it.  ::)

 

Has anyone ever thought of Theymos being in a coma, only to get his gig up once in a year...Every April 1st to play the foolery?

Actually, I have two crazy thoughts and the second is that the dude is incapacitated and sissified by a cabal here.

The Theymos is Satoshi theory has been fairly much debunked. There are other more likely candidates. Theymos made the first block explorer which makes him a legend in his own right.

Some say that Theymos actually is snoop dog
Some say that Theymos is Satoshi
Some say that Lauda is Satoshi
Some say that Theymos is actually a bot.

I believe in such a situation he would choose a successor to the vacant position.
Or there can be a fight to the death. Or a Lambo race sounds better

It has happened before with other forums where there just wasn't enough interest from the owners to keep them alive.
I remember I was very active 10 years back on some web dev forums and they went dead after a few years of carelessness and bad decisions.

Once upon a time, Satoshi created the BT forum.
Once upon a time, Satoshi cooperated with Theymos.
Once upon a time, Satoshi dissapeared and left the forum.
Once upon a time, Theymos took over a important role of Satoshi maintaining both functionality and survival of the BT forum.
And so on.

To sum up, Theymos has not been Satoshi at any odds.
In addition, I don't see reasons for Theymos to leave the forum after looking at his donation address, and its transactional history. ;D
