Title: is there any point in cpu mining? Post by: palamedes on March 05, 2014, 04:24:33 PM Hi guys,
I'm very new and have a question; I have a couple of gpu's mining litecoins at around 200kh/s (is that a lot? I have no idea..) and every minute or two I get an accepted return which is a good thing as I understand it. I also have my i7-2600 mining for funzies but each of the 8 cores only gets around 6kh/s .. never seen a single accepted from it. Is there any point in having it mine? Only "accepted" blocks matter right? Title: Re: is there any point in cpu mining? Post by: ghur on March 05, 2014, 05:00:55 PM There is no point in CPU mining scrypt coins. You will definitively use more power than you'll earn.
