Title: help to restore wallet for reward
Post by: entarex on September 07, 2018, 04:41:25 AM
I have 18 words seed "spray inject ... ... ... "
And i have some password/secret key or private key "GVzPYhu............................"  (35 letters total)
What type of wallet and what crypto currency can there be access to?
I'm ready to reward someone who will help.

I suggest trying to use the seed in multi coin wallets such as Jaxx, Coinomi, Exodus and any others you know and see what happens.

An 18 word seed could/should be BIP39/BIP44? As per https://iancoleman.io/bip39/

You could try this tool -> https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 (Always run this offline!)

35 letters sounds like it's an adress - not a private key, but even then, the prefixes are all wrong.

Might it be the adress prefix of a specific altcoin?

Gulden for example uses "GZaubDd2cadyyoc5UB2ZEwdFxSivybnUVD"  - the same prefix.

but wallet called Armory use 18 words mnemonic/private.
No, it does not. Armory uses it's own proprietary "root key" format... it does not use "words", but groups of 4 "random" chars.

It's possible that the "G" addresses are from Bitcoin Gold? ???... although, not many wallets use an 18 word seed mnemonic by default...
