What is the next goal?

$100? We don't know where is the floor and the final burst of the bubble. But under $100, it might become a dead coin if there is no miners. If the cost to mine ETH is bigger than the profit, miners are going to leave. It will depend on how the mining difficulty is going to adapt to the current price.

because Bitcoin is bleeding right now and there is no way ETH makes its way up when everything is underwater.

It is surprising how weak ETH is compared to bitcoin as it keeps falling to new lows. If it cannot get back over $200 in the next day or two, then could fall to $150 area.

I do not believe that the price may fall to $ 50. But if that happens, then the ethereum will be dead. will see if it will reach even 100$.

Obviously, its $100. Just sad to see ETH really suffered more than bitcoin. I don't know what triggers another sell off today. Bitcoin is also down at $6200 and we are losing again. So lets just look at the bright side, another good buying point for anyone to enter specially ETH. The coin is still very good and fundamentals is strong. Perhaps investors are just cashing it out right now for whatever reasons. Its another crypto bloodbath, Ladies and Gents.

Reason is not known for it. Feel again disappointed with ETH value. Expected ETH to grow up along with bitcoin value last week when bitcoin value hiked up a bit. But ETH value remained to its value not growing up. Usually, when bitcoin grows up, ETH value will grow in two days. Again use this this to invest in Ethereum. Ethereum has a bright future and expected to have a good growth down the line with its small contracts. Hence do not leave your hope on cryto currencies. Just go about investing in coins with low values now.

Personally I expect that it will drop under $ 70 by the end of May 2019. Then it will start slowly to recover. IMHO unfortunately we will se update of ATH only in the first half of 2021.

You're saying it right. Ethereum has a chance to fall very low. If this happens, many miners will switch from this coin. Now we need a very correct support from the developers.

ETH cannot catch a break, first the bear market, now this btc dump tanking the rest of the market...But I'm a little more positive than you, I think if the downtrend continues we might be looking at $180-$170 very soon, though I think prices will recover in the next few weeks due to the hype around the btc ETF, so hopefully, alts will follow the next btc uptrend. It might be a good time to buy ETH,though, below $200 sounds like an excellent entry point.

I strongly suspect that if miners start to abandon ETH then the developers will patch in incentives to mine. This coin is too much of the backbone for the future of crypto for it to be allowed to die easily.

All can happen just like that, even $ 50 can even occur in a market. I have the same feeling about the very severe decline in ETH, but with the potential of ETH, ETH can get back up and go to the next ATH, now we enter the saturated area. where investors start selling assets.

it's on its ATH right now(short) which means peoples are losing their faith on this coin or project for some reason,and most of them because they were unsatisfied with ETH network.
there're a tons of reason why it could go lower from this point and might be replaced by other project.

We can believe that Ethereum is in its crucial moment to establish itself in the market, but what does it mean? It means if the values continue to fall large investors can see with other eyes so that new possibilities of profits can appear. To conclude, Ethreum is a great project and in my opinion not would be bad if prices fall because it is time to get more.

Perhaps the most worrisome of this great fall is the tremendous loss that all the ICOs that were capitalized with ethers around $1,000 are suffering, because if their goal was to gather 10,000 ethers to have $10M, their capital now is less than $2 M to carry out their project, without counting the great losses that are suffering those who invested in ICOs, therefore this great fall of ether is not only disastrous for ethereum,but for the thousands of tokens based on their ecosystem and the investors that in themselves have spent dark days this year investing in ICOs.

True but if they wanted stability they should have invested in fiat or immediately converted their coins to fiat upon getting funded which is what they ALL should have done if their focus was really on funding their projects and not just speculating on crypto. They are just as guilty as the consumer investors that saw the huge gains and thought it would go on forever.

Next goal? No one knows if it can possibly drop even lower with sub $100 price. Not only ETH is suffering on this bearish market. Just to look at the price of BTC a few weeks back where we do already see a glimpse of bull run but what happened now? It do dips and reaching sub 6k price possibly. 5800 would be the main floor or strong support for BTC and for ETH is on sub 200 basing on technical aspects.

That is really disappointing to see, i mean the way eth is sliding down it seems just non stop downtrend, it has to find support now somewhere and then consolidate, im still positive that by year end eth will recover back to atleast $1000 mark.

Very scary to think about. that Ethereum could drop below $ 100 Honestly, I can't believe it. I wonder when the miners will cease to believe in this coin and what will the developers of this coin

LOL. Maybe it'll keep dumping to $100 or maybe $200 is the lowest price of ETH at the moment :). This market is so terrible at the moment and seem like all our predictions about this month are wrong :)). All of us believe that everything will be better in Sept but seem like it's not.

I'm even afraid to imagine what could have fallen below 200 dolars. This will bring big losses for many users of crypto-currencies. In any case, not all have large reserves of funds in the home budget, because the crypto currency was the main means for income.

Ethereum has suffered so much since the beginning of the year and it's performance in recent days doesn't show any sign of recovery yet. Haven said that the truth is that the smart contracts and other great ideas and Innovations around Ethereum are a serious pointer to its success. It's a project that is no doubt, sustainable.

Well, we really do not know how much it will dip but I think it is still a good time to buy for those who wish to buy ethereum and hold for long therm because when it recover from the bear and the bull run start, you will make reasonable profit from it. That is what's happening now. Because of too many scams that has been using ETH they are pulling it down and the price has gone lower. I thought that this month is going to be the uptrend for Ethereum which is about to reach the possibility that has been speculated by some. Those predictions about the low trend is happening but there's also a good part of it. They said that after this, uptrending will come soon.

The price has fallen low to $200 which is completely unexpected. Out of panic sold what I had in my portfolio by $193, once I sold the price of ethereum has begun to grow little by little. Now it almost reached $200, with this my day has ended with a massive loss. Hope to retain the loss with the trading on the new day.

We don't have any idea what will be the next price of ethereum but still many people believing that ethereum will surpassed this down situation. So keep on on trusting and keep buying because we don't know what will next happen.

200. moving assets into fiat or usdt is too late and seems to leave the market temporarily is the right decision.

this fall was beyond everyone's expectations and many predictions missed that made many people trapped or lost.

ETH heading towards $100 and it's really sad to see such condition for a strong community, but again it has proved to them who was spreading words that ETH will overtake BTC, see what's happening. It looks like within next 48 hours it can go down to below $100.

It's not the end. This is just a normal correction and we just surprised the way it fall drastically the price of ethereum. I expect that a strong buy back will happen in the few days to balance the market situation against the miners profits.

Imagine the massive impact this could have on all the ico’s that are holding ethereum still. They would need to cash out their ether at these relatively low levels in order to get enough fiat to keep functioning. This could mean the end ofa lot of them. Below $100 of ETH is a total crash and this might not survive. Hopefully this thing will not happen, I still stand to believe on ETH so I think the next goal is to stay above the support and go even higher to break the resistance. This is not the end yet, many people are panicking and maybe this is just a result of that one.

Really sad for this coin, there's must be changes and big support from the Dev. team so we don't hit the price below $100.

You should've diversified your holdings specifically for times like these. Some stocks, some crypto, some fiat, maybe some actual gold or silver. Right now all you can do is keep your money in Eth and hope for a rise later because you don't actually have a loss until you sell. If you can't do that because you need the money for an emergency then cash out some and take the loss reported on taxes and consider it a lesson learned. Now is not the time to sell if you can stomach the drops. This is the part when people who say things like "buy low and sell high" start buying not selling. And NEVER invest more than you can safely afford to lose, EVER.

I do not think that Ethereum will hit 100 dollar as target. That mean that the whole cryptocurrency market will decrease as value.

I am extremely disappointed. I bought Ethereum almost for all my money. I strongly believed in this altcoin and was sure that by the end of the year its price will be more than $ 2000. Now I have a different opinion.

Who knows? The next resistance level for the whole market should be around this point, $190 billion for all of crypto was the low point so far this year... but I suspect we may drop past it.
When we do eventually rally it should be quite strong, but it may be short-lived given what has happend so far this year.
In short, no-one really knows.

Though ethereum price has really dipped more than expected and it is very surprising because it is a very potential and promising coin and I personally do not expect it to fall this much but I am sure that it will recover soon that is why I still hold the coin.

All though I got frustrated when ETH price was fallen. But after that, I am set a goal about ETH.
I think this is the best time to buy ETH. If you are looking for a long-term holding coin then I think you should buy Eth right now. So don't get panic and sell your ETH now. Just hold it until it's price not goes high.

Now it's been under 200$ but it will not stop at this price and I think ETH can go down 100$ in next month after that we can see a big pump again .

I am not doubting though it might go lower than that. It is best to buy now and just wait for the right time to sell. We should not fear its dip but should take it as a opportunity to buy and hold until the bull market comes.

Ethereum is a great buy opportunity if it sells such a low price. within a short time can rise to 1000 dollars. With a few positive developments and a small bull, everything will be more beautiful :)

I am quite surprised by the ETH price, never expected that the price could reach below 200$. But I too think this is a good opportunity to buy some ETH. And it will recover very soon.

Today ETH has come down to new low and bottom in 2018 (176$). It's crazy that every day ETH has a new bottom. This week ETH could be 150$ and that's my target and that's the bottom of ETH.

I believe that ETH will eventually stop getting pumped and will be dumped majorly and will go below $200 but by that time it won't be a good investment anymore.

Yes it does Ethereum lost another 6 percent in the last hours thats 11.73 US dollars. ethereum is currently sitting at 184.53 USD. There was a speculation that ETH will go below 200 usd I didn’t believe ld it after the last bounce of the market. Now it seems that it will be bearish all the way for ETH.

Though Bitcoin is on a bearish move it is actually holding a resistance more decently compared to Ethereum, comparison fromnthe charts in August Ethereum was holding at at least 250 when Bitcoin fell below 6000. Now that everything is bearish Ethereum shiw that it can drop more.

You need to be surprised with the price Ethereum in the market because there's no bullish force in the market and almost all crypto currency are dumping price. In addition, Ethereum is currently facing scalability problem while there's competition in the dapp and smart contract provider. If Ethereum team don't create the sharding project there's possibility for Ethereum to dip to the $89 price range.

Agreed with the blood bath. I was waiting for Ethreum to drop more when it was around 350 so i can invest. But now i am hesitant a lot of rumors are spreading that Ethereum may be dead if this continues. I want to believe that ETH is still strong forecast however shows a differently.

ETH is performing very badly right now, especially compared to BTC. If ETH can't stabilize itself soon we will probably see a very long bear market.  :(

Considering the value yes it is very tempting. But the question is, is it still worth investing. Ethereum was projected to even beat Bitcoin when it comes to value by the end of 2018. Now im not eve worried about that. What im concerned about is if it can multiply by ts current value.

I have been following Ethereum since quarter two of the year and looking dor a great entry point, now the price is lower than my target price but i am afraid to invest in it. Analysis and forecast shows it will end the year at around 107 US dollars making it a bad investment.
