A few days ago, I posted That ETH is going to 200 USD? That was my fear, not an actual prediction! And, today, Ethereum hits its lowest price of 2018! 190 USD! What's going on guys? Why is Ethereum price dumping incredibly? I just can't believe my eyes! Do you think ETH can recover its price this year? My answer no.

That shouldn't be a prediction anymore I think since it on it way down  below 300$. Etc seems enjoying the downwards move is making and I think there's still more drop price to witness this year, ethereum really disappointed the whole crypto lovers. I don't see any more positive price happening to eth this year, if possible maybe 400$.

I do not think we can single out eth and blame that only eth is crashing, just look at all the coinw, i mean there are many more coins that are dumping more in value than eth, also just check btc which is in freefall from few days, so it is overall market situation, we can just hope for fast reversal from here and nothing else.

Because you have set a price yourself, 200 USD is not the bottom of Ethereum in this downtrend. It can go down even further and I think it can reach the price 180 USD

i was shock same as you but i still think the lower ethereum move, the higher chance to rise with high value in the next bullrun. every crypto experts is still believe that theres gonna be bullrun later

It's unpredictable market and ethereum has surprised us with a reverse effect. This will give us disappoinment and loss our confidence in trusting ethereum. Although it's the effect that someone had decided to sell his eth and take out his money. It will take enough time to absorb the demand today before it rise again.

Yes, I believe that your prediction with ETH had almost hit the target and now it's $190.00. In my own understanding, ETH will still recover one day from it's dip and this has been the lowest so far within the year. Unlike before that for every btc increase, altcoins go the same direction but in the current state the altcoins were no longer on the same relation wherein they had it's own market movement. Moreover, let us not loose hope for eth since this is just a major adjustment happening in the crypto market.

I don't know what is the reason ethereum dump too hard, maybe people have lost they believe in ethereum so they want to change to other coins. I think ethereum can recover in this year but we don't know how much it can increase since ethereum is down too deep and when it's coming. and if ethereum cannot recover in this year, then maybe it will happen in the next year so we need to wait for a while.

I do not think that the recent comments from Vitalik Butterin have helped his currency. Intelligent developer he may be, business spokesman he most certainly is not he would do better talking about improvements to Ethereum rather than the state of crypto in general. I also believe that projects that raised Ethereum in recent ICO may have been forced sellers to try and retain funding and these things have pushed the price lower than others.

And I hope, if ever, no less than 180 USD. But the sad part here, we don't exactly know what is going to happen next.

if you have been bag holding ETH and losing money then you should worry and you made a huge mistake of bag holding a coin that was getting dumped. there is still a chance of going much lower than this. but to answer your other question about it recovering i have to say, don't worry about that if you don't have ETH bags and plan on buying, ETH will recover at some point and will start pumping but until then you should not be bag holding it.

Depends on what you mean by "recover its price". If you mean go back up to $1400, then I think that is very unlikely. Back north of $400 by year end though is possible. People need to stop thinking in terms of what happened last year between September 2017 and February 2018. That was an anomoly and is not going to return even if the SEC grants permission to every Bitcoin ETF. Cryptocurrencies have had their bubble phase just like the Dotcom bubble at the end of the last century. The bursting of that bubble did not mean the end of the internet, just like this one won't mean the end of the blockchain.  

I do not know why cryptocurrencies especially ethereum are lowering in prices dramatically. At a point, my hope is being shattered due to the way cryptocurrencies are declining. But I think this will not last long. This situation may remain until the end of the year 2018. Prices of ethereum may reach $ 700 by the end of 2018.

Just hope that the bitcoin will be stable and that will give more time to the ethereum to build its support but if there will be another bearish trend as soon as possible and it could make the price of ether will be getting down again as soon as possible, anything still hold by bitcoin ETF and so many people are still calculating the bottom.

Former CEO Bitmex has stated that ETH is a shitcoin and it will soon go down 100$. I laughed and did not care about that. And now ETH is going down $ 100 as he says. In the future I think ETH will continue to dump until it's under 100$, It's horrible for those who are holding ETH

it's horrible for those holders THAT DID NOT CARE ABOUT MY OPINIONS, because i've been saying ETH was dead more than 3 months now. Now they are enjoying a huge REKT. moreover, some are buying this coin.

I hope that it will come true ;D and this is true, I can see that many people can get a lot of profit from bitcoin because they can make a big money and they can be a rich person too. I only say that this is the bad year for cryptocurrency after the price can rise higher in the last year but we still have a chance to see another high price in the next years. although the price cannot reach $55,000 by the end of this year and only can reach $10,000, I think it's enough for us to take the profit.

My prediction for this year 2018, i am positive that it can bounce back the price. I believe in cryptocurrency and it's nature is volatile.  It will pump and dump everytime.  Now eth price is bouncing to $ 213. It starting to go back to a good price.

Well ethereum has finally recover back to over 200$,I don't know why the price was down but for what ETH is capable of ? Surely it will always recover ,while it was down I quickly grab some more and now I'm happy about it.

you are naive if you really think ETH is/was dead but also you are even more naive if you kept bag holding ETH when all the signs were pointing to a massive dump. people need to start becoming more realistic in altcoin market in my opinion. these centralized coins with millions of dollars to spare are not just going to vanish one day. they will continue to be pumped and dumped but for every pump there will be a dump so plan accordingly.

My answer is also no but I think the dump has stop and we would have some little recovery along the line.  Ethereum has performed very well towards the end of last year and of a truth this year has been the bad year.  Investing now is what we can do in other to be able to take advantage of the future.

Well I would say yes your  prediction where right ethereum and most coin in the cryptocurrency world fell in price this is because of the bearish market state. But at the moment ethereum is picking up and we hope it continues this way

Yes eth keep on falling down, but I don't see any problem in that, the most important thing is the ability of eth to recover, so although the price went really bad, but if it bounce back, it's mean that the coin still got value and people still do transaction using the coin, eth is strong coin, in this price people should buy more rather than selling it

Nobody can predict crypto market price , all what i know is cryptocurrency is about up and down which mean time to buy and time to sell.

it is still early to say that eth won't recover because we all know crypto is unpredictable. there is still a lot of days before december comes and maybe a lot will happen during that time. and it is not eth alone that are going down but other crypto too.

I think one of the reason is investors not interested in icos anymore so ETH has less demand, yeah me too i think eth can't recover in this year (300$++).

Well ethereum price was falling horribly but i think it will recover soon and of course in my opinion it will break its own ath within 1 to 2 year.

one of the biggest problems with the altcoins and the investment you make in them is exactly this unpredictability of them which comes from all the manipulation that goes into them.

people think that just because whales bought some coin it can not drop. but the fact that whales bought it means it will drop because they will dump it just like the way they pumped it in first place. that is why coins like ethereum have been dropping without stop.

Yes, I think that ETH will also recover at the end of this year. As other coins are not so strong and the market is being badly manipulated by the big players. So yes e can expect ETH to reach around 500$ if the market becomes stable again. There is always uncertainty in the market. The cost of the ethereum directly depends on the demand for it, if the ICO will return to trust itself and will start bring profit to investors again that the ethereum will revive too.

Although ETH is not in a good condition now, I do not think that ETH would die as you say. It is just a part of growth. I am sure, ETH will recover its price at the end of this year.

No one can predicate where the market will go or eth. After some growth in the, all coins again market down. It's good that now eth above the 200$. Even  eth's Constantinople hard fork coming maybe it creates some relief for us and eth got back to the over 500$ or 700$

If Bitcoin could grow from 4000$ on September 2017 to 19800$ on 17 December 2017, then it's not a big deal for Ethereum to grow back to 1000-1500$in few months.

All altcoins has to face a very bad ATL in the market, and no one will excepted, even bitcoin had facing drop its ATL recently and it is hard for it to recover, so dont bother for what you can see in eth price because all of the altcoins had to face it. if you have more faith in your altcoin, just believe on it and hold because eth is one the leading altcoins in the market that has a potential to grow more in the future

Why need to panic when ETH price is still so good than the ICO price it started. Unless you bought it at $1200 last year if not then just chill. We are on the bearish month no every coin experiencing what ETH was even worst cause some ICO drop to -80% losses this year.

The price of ethereum has being dumping for a while now and I think that this is due to some kind of market manipulation going on with the coin. You see ethereum is one of the most valuable coin that you can have when it comes to crypto and there are people that will always want to buy the coin at the cheapest prices possible so this is what they do to buy the coins at cheap prices, once they are done, the price will recover.

in my opinion it depends on the price of bitcoin, if bitcoin will recover as well ethereum will also recover quickly ...

But if we consider the ICO scams it might be one of the culprit of this recent dumps.

Well it's about 200 $ now and I think it will grow and recover a little bit at the end of the year. Of course it's hard for it to full recovering but things is not so bad as you think.

No one can give the right answer because no one knows him, all this is just empty talk. I agree with buterin, the cryptocurrency market is greatly overvalued even now, and there will be no second priceless buying and crazy price increase.

in my opinion, Ethereum prices will rise again later this year. last year's experience, seen from the price chart on the market. the habit of altcoin prices including the ETH will rise at the end of the year. but that is not a sure thing, but only a prediction.

Today Ethereum hits 200 USD,  your prediction was right,  we are monitoring Ethereum  during this period we all hope it rise and I think this would be on December.

I'm also surprised by the price drop. I'm afraid it can go even lower. Now it's at 200 USD, ETH lost 10% in a week - FoMO is real, I consider not waiting for the lower price and investing a bit more while the price is still low.
