I heard from a friend,
On the 15th of this month, mt gox will release 140,000 btc, this is true?
which will have an impact on the market, btc fell to 5000?

It is not a true statement in crypto market because If any issues are created automatically it was is slowly leaking in this forum. But still market is normal so this is a fake news. If you still confusing you should ask the source of this news but l am sure market is move to positive way soon. So we don't panic in this moment.

Even if that is true, which I doubt, let's see if it can affect the market:

With the current bitcoin circulating supply of 17.26M, 140,000 BTC would make something like 0.811%.

Less than one percent. Hence, not enough to affect the BTC price, at least not in any significant way.

where did your friend get that info, because I didn't find it or saw it on the crypto news site. it sounds terrible and I believe panic will happen worse and the market will continue to deteriorate.

I thought there wouldnt be any more movement with the Mt.gox BTC until 2019?!

If he decided to do this, then of course the price would fall very much (I'm talking about the price tag even lower than 5000 thousand)

Is the confirmed information or he is gonna pay back their site invesors buddy. Please do not take any assumption kind of information into much debate that will not take the perfect debate in this forum. We want the positive news which can support us and give profit for us.

Since these kinds news coming out we may expect the negative impact only on price. Kindly avoid spreading these kind of news alone.

I do not really know about this but I will like to know the source where your friend got this information because I will like to read it up myself to know how true it is. I think what the market needs now to grow are good and positive news not false stories that will make it fall the more.

First now no one will sell them and secondly it will not affect the price ! I think that now goes simply speculation news that would lower bitcoin, but Kira await this ! I do not need to succumb to provocations !

Can you ask if that is a real info from your friend and how reliable your friend is? Don't also be so gullible when someone is saying that they know something and there's no reliable source on it. That's easy to say, "I heard my friend that whales will dump the market." Don't be too moved and caught up by those words.

I say bullishit, people are making up rumours just to try to spread FUD during the downtrend, it's always the same story with Mt Gox, just rumours. Why would they want to crash the market at such low prices? wouldn't it be better to way until prices recover to at least 5-digits before releasing it all?

15th is next weekend, we'll see if something happens, but it's very unlikely that we'll see big movements, I doubt the person behind the wallet would just go out publicly and say the date when they're going to move the coins.

I have not seen or about such article, I am sure it is another of such fake news meant to cause panic and crash the price if bitcoin further. The market is unstable as it is, another fake news will cripple it further

That's just a rumour and i should suggest OP to read the latest news on mtgox or try to visit the official twitter of mtgox trustee, The mtgox's case gets rehabilitation and there will be no more bitcoin will be selling to the market.
OP's friend just wanna spread another FUD to the market and that looks so bad.

I don't think it is true. Someone is trying to manipulate the market again with fake bad news. Is the price not low enough? Don't even dream about getting the price lower, you will ruin a lot of people lives.

Why would it have impact on market if they will return those bitcoins to people they owe to? It is just justice served.  Do you believe Bitcoins should not be returned?    If so, then send some of your bitcoins to me and I wil not return them to you ever.

Your friend is obviously not a good source of news, most are fud. You should care more if you hold altcoins, bitcoin with its dominance rate is pretty good now.

Individuals with huge profits have selling motives

We must be able to deal with negative news that always makes panic because if the news or opinions that always drop bitcoin continues to grow, the price of the crypto currency will always decline and the simple thing we can do is to instill a sense or character optimistic in each of us and also for all cryptocurrency lovers so as not to be affected by negative news and to avoid panic.

This one percentage of release will not be affected the over all cryotocurrency market if you have doubt that Mt god will again play this year be strong and hodl all your coins in wallets without any fear.
Already last few months bitcoin value dumped more in the market hoping it will be reoveref from this shit dumps. Lets wait and see the value is growing or not.

At this stage, no smart person will even see panic as something they should be so much focused on based on some FUD news that is irrelevant. Whether the MtGox trustee is selling off or not, the market is still in a downtrend, and how far it goes depends on how well we will be able to gain better position in the long run. At the end, those who have most of their focus in the long term, will surely not regret it, and apparently, those who are scared or panic due to some news will have themselves to blame.

At least, so far I have not heard any news regarding that and even if he ends up doing so, who really cares. Apparently, he would give us the chance to simply be buying lower and maybe will help drive us down pretty fast to hitting the bottom eventually. If BTC falling to about $5k is still something possible with or without any MtGox sell off. Still, I believe this is just a story your friend decided to boil up for you.

What kind of individuals with huge profits should be people that MtGox is holding their Bitcoins for 4 years now?  WTF. Everyone have right to do with their property as they are pleased. They can sell it give it away. or destroy it. This poor guys that are fighting for their money for past 4 years really dont deserve some trolls here make fun of them.

If this is true then they just want to push Bitcoin prices to the lowest level possible and then buy at low prices to reinvest. Mt Gox never did crazy things that made them lost money.

You have no idea or what? a insta-dump of 140k BTC could potentially lower the price of the Bitcoin to zero. You can't compare it with the total amount but with the sum of the buy walls  ::)

Anyway, what a friend told the original poster of this thread is nothing to worry about unless another more legit sources confirm the news.
