Good news. It's always nice to read about new opportunities. But if I bought something for fiat money to them, I have less faith., And I will keep bitcoin.

hmmm, luxury car producers to start accepting bitcoin as a means of payment, wow that's nice. This is purely what we need for bitcoin. For it to gain full attention in the finance space, we need to accept it in our various businesses' payment methods. now it excludes the link in the chain "convert to fiat-buy what you need"

A dealer on California has been doing this for their lambos for the past 2 or 3 years, and I don't know whether the deal is still up. This is a good thing considering that bitcoins can be used to obtain something IRL, but the only problem I have with this is it poses a negative impression on the general media and masses that bitcoins can only be used on expensive purchases and not on something they can afford. People will only care over something if they know they can benefit or they can be a part of it, and this here isn't that 'thing' for the masses, so it will not cause some massive bump.

What's happened to the company that had been selling Tesla electric cars a few years ago? I don't think it made a huge impact on bitcoin if there was any impact at all, to begin with. Whoever sold Teslas were just resellers, and it doesn't look like all these luxury cars are being sold by their respective producers for bitcoin directly either. So what difference does it make if you sell your bitcoins yourself and then buy a car with fiat or someone else does essentially the same for you and instead of you?

90% of posters in this thread don't have a clue that all these respectable companies aren't selling any cars for anything other than fiat. It is just some dealer which is involved in the business of reselling the luxury cars who decided to start accepting bitcoins for some obscure reason. Well, the reason is quite obvious though, which is to make its name known in the cryptocommunity. Whether he actually succeeds at selling anything for cryptocurrency remains to be seen. But it is neither the first reseller who started to accept bitcoin nor will it have any noticeable effect on the market, both cryptomarket and the market of luxury cars.

For me it makes no difference how to buy an expensive car. Buying a car for crypto currency is not something unique for me. I'm more worried when in ordinary stores I can use the crypto currency to buy everyday goods for life.

The person will buy the luxury car and pay with bitcoins, but the bitcoins will immediately be converted to fiat currencies. This means that more bitcoins will be sold and added to the supply side and this will push down the price.  ::)
