I am running ICO https://tmoney.io we currently offer ETH owners to invest in our token TMONEY. Currently token price against dollar is super low (from 0.07 per token to 0.04 per token) Think it is great chance for those who have ETH to invest their money in our token, as our token will be independent of ETH price swings in long run.

Do you agree? Why people don`t invest their ETH?

Your tokens might not depend on ETH price movements now, but I don't agree that your platform would be independent of the ETH price swings in the long run. It is clearly stated in your website that:
How will your tokens be independent of the ETH price if you will depend on Ethereum's protocol(smart contracts) to process transactions? If you really want a token independent from ETH price, start by building your own blockchain protocol and block explorer.

it is an opportunity for most of the ico admins to buy etherum at low price i will see this as opportunity rather than threat 

Well it think the down of eth is caused by many people start to stop investing in ICO and many ICO dump the ETH. I believe ETH down will give a bad impact to ICO cause they might not reach the softcap and also the number of money that they fund is likely reduce following the eth price that are drop so significantly

Market conditions are currently in a bad condition. we all know that most people feel scared when they invest. especially when they invest in a project that has an etherum platform. the decline in etherum prices gives investors a very high sense of pessimism. this is normal because everyone will want to avoid all risks. all of us here are waiting and hoping that the etherum price will improve and re-create the digital currency market and especially the altcoin will experience positive changes.

Depends on the ICO to be honest. Just because you can pay more eth with less dollars to invest doesn't mean the ICO will be good and the tokens will worthy anything. You can still select a horrible coin and it can go to shit and price could drop insanely, just because eth dropped this doesn't change. But if you want a good news most ICO's are dropping their entry barrier and their fund goals because the market is low and eth is getting low and people are investing less which means they need to drop so they can get proper investment. You can invest 1 eth and get a bigger portion of the pie compared to what it used to be.

I have noticed this many times. When markets are not with new blood, mostly no pumping are happening also most people stop their projects abruptly and absconded too. A healthier market always boost all other things within its environments in most cases and exceptions too applicable.

The price drop of Ethereum should be an opportunity to the Crypto enthusiast for bagging more and sell high when price moon again. It should easily do 20%and above.

It does not matter what is the value of eth for icos because investors analyse each ico with various angles and factors and only invest if they think that the project is upto the mark, also im personally seeing eth going back to 500 to 600 levels in couple of weeks.

I think people don't want to lost their ETH in exchange to other tokens because they believed that ethereum is still with great potential to rise in the near future.

Most of the ICO projects tokens are intimately related to ethereum somehow, after all, they belong to the same platform, so that makes them loose value too.

Market conditions are not in their favorable state. A lot of people will have a hard time making any investment decisions at this time as a lot of ICOs haven't done well at the exchanges in recent past. There might be a lot of swing lows for ETH before it bounces back though

Actually, everyone wants to invest in the long term, but they also need detailed clarity about the assets they invest - the investment is not in vain. I think the road map must be thought through carefully, so that what is done does not shift from what was planned.

I wouldn't say that it is great for icos, since the price of the coin is down people are more relunctant about putting them in projects which means that the icos aren't getting as much money as normal and that can really affect the icos and how they are doing lately. Also the ico coins will have lower prices when they hit the exchanges

Please its dependent as long as its built on ETH protocol. All you fee are charged in ETH. Eth price has really affected ICO people are scared if losing money. Build tour own protocol and gare way for USD then you will be independent of Eth

From my casual obeserver eye I think the drop in the price of Etherum was accelerated by ICO projects selling their collected Ethereum to retain some cash for development. Some projects selling tokens at $ price have not benefited as you simply need more ETH to obtain the same number of tokens. I have seen one project recently peg its ETH rate at $294 to protect the investors so on the whole I think the drop has been a problem not a benefit.

Eth is not good option for invest, the price is low and market condition is really bad. Most people will avoid Eth in many activity and exchange their asset into currency because is more safe. Wait the market go up again and I believe it will take more time to buy back again. Eth is still good alternative income but replace it into ICO for tokens, please think again.

ETH drop should be optimal for any token which's price is locked to ETH, not USD.

The ETH is one of the potential coin. As a result of some reason its cost are vary. I believe it's the best time to contribute on it. It will give colossal benefit in future.

Have wanted to get a similar topic on this though with a different content, eth value is is on the decline and such period is when we have a lot of unsuccessful projects, I think this is the period where only the genius and real ICO's could survive, any genuine ICO's that successfully sells this period will have a greater chance of doing well as eth gains in price. This is not the period for shitty projects just like we had late last year to early this year
