Title: bitchangePLN to close its doors
Post by: yogi on October 29, 2011, 06:06:06 PM
Unfortunately today I found out that bitchange is closing.

Here is their reasons , you might have to translate it;

After the recent closing of exchb is this something we should be worried about?

I still find it strange that the moment exchb closes, mtgox starts offering deposits through Chase (which exchb used to offer).

The bitchange.pl it is not closing. Its currenlty changing an operator. There is goin to be a new investor to the exchange and it will be back online again in a week maybe maximum two weeks. There is nothing to worry about. Its only a temporary distortion.

Since they are not shutting down,  please change the thread title.
There is no reason to cause unneeded alarm.

Um the operator said it will be up in a week or two and that was 3 months ago.

The website says:
Code:
BTC Exchange halted
Placing orders and automatic withdrawals are not possible.
Withdrawals possible only after contact with admin: admin (here monkey) bitchange.pl Regards, team Bitchange.pl

Too me it looks like they are shut-down for good.
