Much have been invested in altcoins and many are still coming up, yet many have not rely done well or lived up to expectation. Should one continues investing in altcoins or concentrate only in Bitcoin?

I think the future of altcoins are good. fake project are disappearing with the dumps
and i can say this past few days have been fabulous for altcoins.

Soon we will be left with good projects and real tokens, then we can enjoy the bull run.

Well, for the faint heart, the future looks bleak going by the market dynamics, but as a strong believer, it is important to keep the hope alive for alts. The most important thing is to not support scams and also to be on the lookout for scams so as to protect others. Keep investing in the right ones.

Well, technically, altcoins are anything besides bitcoin, so it would be silly to ignore altcoins all together.
Instead of bunching all altcoins together, try grouping them in types, it will be much easier to go through the bad and good ones.
For example, smart contract platform projects have done relatively well this year whereas privacy coins have suffered (except monero).
Looking at what types of coins perform well you can then go into that category and figure out which one is the best.

As far as btc goes, I wouldn't go all in on it but also I wouldn't put all my hopes in it either.
Btc is old, 9 years old in fact.  In tech years that's like a dinosaur.
I believe it still has one, maybe two more bull runs in it but it will be replaced by something better within the next three years.
I would look to short or midterm profits with btc but not long term.
My long term bet would bet eth, and it is crazy cheap right now so a good time to buy.

I am sure that altcoins as crypto currency will not exist. Altcoins will evaluate the product of the project or some valuable phenomenon. Altcoins will be similar to shares or futures. This is a good prospect in my opinion.

It shouldn't matter how much money you have by much...you can invest in both coins if you want to make the most from crypto.

I think good altcoins will recover and grow in value overtime but if you are holding some really bad coins with no practical project and invisible team then i will suggest to sell as soon as possible and yes for quality coins its time to buy.

lot's of them will dissappear. you should choice altcoins much more carrefully. i scared every one of them right now.

If you watch altcoins on coinmarketcap, you can see that with the growth of BTC, all altcoins grow too. And even the dead are slowly coming to life. So don't lose hope!

The dip and bearish moment may only last for the night, the bull run comes in the morning

Currently? I advise to invest on Bitcoin only. I mean majority of your portfolio should be in Bitcoin like 60%-80% and then the rest of altcoins with real usage and back up by fundamentals.

Bitcoin has taking the majority of the market now, almost 60% and counting. Alts already suffered and will continue to suffer unless Bitcoin goes on a bull run taking most of the top 10 alts with him.

I think that there is still hope. in my opinion already by the middle of autumn the course will rise. Therefore, it remains only to wait and hope for the best

I think that while we might think that the future doesn't really hold so much for altcoins because of all that we are currently experiencing in the market, I would like to put it out there that that's some false assumptions, and I greatly believe that this is only but the starting point for altcoins and the cryptocurrency industry at large, and great things are set to happen soon.

The crypto market  will grow in future because of many reason. Firstly its blockchain technology help in solving many complex problems with a  very cost effective way.  Second many new investors are joining it  every day. Thirdly many organization all over world are analyzing and accepting  it

There's a few I think that will do very well. ofcourse a lot will die but that should be expected with startups. We'll have to wait and see though.

I've heard more than once, they write that soon the altcoyans will leave the market. But I do not know, I do not believe it yet. The demand for altcoins has not decreased. Yes, many now left the market. But also many have appeared. Therefore, one needs to think about the future of the Altcoins.

I think people should not concentrating on investing only in Bitcoin. There is many altcoins which deserve our attention. For example, look at EOS. The price peak of this coin was this spring when other cryptocurrencies was decreasing.

No way of knowing really is there. They need to gain real adoption to do well long term which hasn't happened for many of them yet.

Bitcoin still waiting for ETF announcement. this what i'm thinking about bitcoin right now. Remember crypto is a speculation market that there is a lot of speculators are playing it right now. Buy the rumor and sell for the news has become the rule to get the profit from this market. Just put a lot of allocation to the bitcoin looks good consider it has been eating a lot of the market domination of altcoin

we all know that all altcoins cannot fulfill expectations and contribute according to their own plans or goals. indeed only a few percent of altcoins can be trusted and chosen as assets that we hold for the long term. but we all agreed that the average of our portfolio must be filled by bitcoin and a small portion for altcoins.

If you are investing in altcoins, it comes with a huge amount of risk. It can pump a lot or even go to zero.
Investing in Bitcoin is a safe decision, but come on, it's not that fun  :D

my hopes for the future of Altcoin continue to grow and prices continue to rise in the market. moreover, altcoin enthusiasts continue to increase every year. Hopefully the future of Altcoin will continue to grow rapidly in the future.

in my opinion, if someone wants to get a lot of profit then it's better to invest in altcoin. because investing in altcoin does not require large capital. even many people have successfully invested in altcoins. my hope for the future of altcoin enthusiasts continues to increase and the price of the altcoin continues to rise in the market.

Altcoins are not going anywhere. However, Most of the bad coins will be dead by the next year and only strong ones will survive this market crash or any further crash.

The future of Cryptocurrency industry lies in Altcoins not Bitcoin because Altcoins will bring more innovations and improvements to blockchain technology. Though many trading Altcoins now will not made the future but solid projects that has real life applications will get more stronger and stay till the entire lifespan of the industry.

The hope is that it will bring brightness in the future to continue to be in this mortal life.

Bitcoin is great but I think with some of the altcoins we might have a better luck than with bitcoin. Altcoins have better prices for buying so I guess people will always choose to invest also in altcoins.

I'd say the future of altcoins isn't that bright, at least for a big % of them. We'll soon reach the point where will be more interested in coins that actually have a real world use case rather than just a coin that offers you profit, soon the pump and dump shitcoins, which occupy a big chunk of the crypto market, will dissapear and only the legit projects will survive, and by legit I mean the ones that have proven to be safe investments.

Everyday people are getting more interested in Bitcoin and as soon it hits the adoption phase, altcoins will suffer from the lack of buying pressure. Also, the fact that there isn't a massive spike in the BTC price that pushes the price of alts up means that there's no incentive from the general to invest in alts. Things could change in the long-term, but for now, the altcoins future doesn't look too good.

We cannot dispute the fact that there are so many altcoins in the cryptocurrency space now and most of them have not really done well,however there are some altcoins that have perform extremely well in the cryptocurrency space, so can also invest in altcoins because they have great prospects.

altcoin is increasingly likely to only find a variety of problems, especially related to investors. Maybe later there will be no more investors who want to deposit into altcoin because of the weakening of confidence in crypto which of course also comes from market activities

I think we should still continue and consider investing in altcoins, there good projects that are using altcoins you just have to know which one to support or invest in. Investing is taking a risk, risk may result in something favorable like earning a lot of profit when you invested in a good project. But keep in mind that you should never invest an amount you can't afford to lose.

Up to now, altcoin has a role to enliven the cryptocurrency industry. Technically, if we compare investments in altcoin and bitcoin it is safer to choose to invest in bitcoin or choose bitcoin to be used as a trading place. The price of bitcoin itself has only recently stabilized at a price of $6500 in recent months. So, the occurrence of a pump and dump is very rare and make every investor will be comfortable if they choose bitcoin.

Just a suggestion, you can spend money to invest in cryptocurrency by choosing a large amount of bitcoin, for instance, 75$ for invest in bitcoin and 25% in altcoin.

hello! i think it is essential to divide investments as there's no good in concentrating on only one solution. you know, don't put all eggs in one basket. alts are no less promising and who knows...

The future of few Altcoins is bright but many will withered away as we have been seeing daily. The only few that will stand the test of time are those with tangible use case,those with specific solutions to some certain problems.

So many people recommend that if you decide to invest in the Crypto market, patience is the key to success, patience will help us get good opportunities at good prices. So if we know to wait, do not rush to fail soon

for me contributing to both of them is very good, because one of the good supporters of Bitcoin is because of the altcoin. besides that, with the altcoin the small traders are very helpful.

I strongly believe that in the future people will be very interested in and use cryptocurrencies because in the very near future, there is still a high probability that many states can approve cryptocurrencies and start regulatory processes.

The nature of bitcoin and altcoins is slightly different. Many altcoins are simple bitcoin clones and therefore are not worth much attention. There are altcoins, which are the means of payment for the platform on which they are created. If you are sure of its advantages, then you can invest in such coins.

As long as there are investments, with Altcoins, everything will be fine. And without them, I think that Altcoins will be fine.

I suggest it is better to invest in bitcoin, because altcoins are emerging more and more, and that will make altcoin competition, and the losers will be lost and ignored by people

there are lot of altcoins which have better tech than btc but they are cheap in price because of btc dump. so i think in coming years we will see a good price increase in good alts. so always holding alts is profitable. Also it gives much better returns than BTC

Yes, exactly, there are a lot of potential altcoin, and the value they increase over time, I've missed many potential penny selling opportunities at low prices, I see their value rising and I sold out, But then they continue to rise and it's a bit of a regret for me, I'm not good at analyzing, but I always take the win when investing in altcoin.
