Title: Still Newbie
Post by: Melo20 on September 17, 2018, 05:19:09 AM
I clicked on someone account this morning. The account was registered in Nov, 2017 with 75 posts and 75 activities and yet the account has not be promoted from newbie to junior member. What could be the reason for this because I read that you only need 30 activities to become a junior member.

because to be Jr. The member needs merit even though it's only 1 because I read there are new rules from themos, so don't be surprised if your rank goes down then if you want to be Jr. Members must have 1 merit so that the ranks will last, let's always be excited to get merit. ;) ;) ;)

all I know that if you want to get Merritt you have to make posts with high quality and inspire, so if someone likes your post then he will give you merritt

How do I receive merit?

You are awarded merit by people of the community if they find your post helpful or informative.

Why is that?1 You are jr member as I can see. Not a newbie! What happened @iAleff ?

Maybe that account is inactive thatvis why it is not promoted or not rank up in level. Its almost a year when that account is registered but until now it is not rank up , if that account is active till now its rank now will be full member but since the account is inactive it does not continue its activity. Now newbie accounts must have atleast one merit to be able to rank up on level .

Well you can ask it on meta if you need more explanation about your problem.  Hi already rank up on the timr he reach the the activity but because of the new merit system that newbie must have 1 merit to rank up or considered jr.member. and for those jr.member that dont have 1 merit they will be demoted or will be newbie again.

bitcointalk just restructure, if without merit all will downgraded to newbie  :( same as me
