So, about last two months, I bought 10,000 CET at the price of $0.1/1 totaling the sum of $1,000. They were giving some dividends on holding the CET coin as it's been used in the coinex ecosystem otherwise known as a utility token.
Now, before buying this token, I have watched it growth and considering the fact that it is been backed by Viabtc and bitmain. so I thought it will continue to enjoy its organic growth, I felt very happy and comfortable with the token, was hoping to use this in getting more bitcoin as the price increases. But this wasn't the case as the token started dumping, I felt it was just a normal correction, but I was absolutely wrong. Just as I write, my $1,000 investment is currently worth $231. I have loss $769. 

Now, my major concern is: Did the team initially pumped the token to attract investors or they just allow a free fall or is just the condition of the market? My submission is that: Never fall in love with an altcoins. Play stay with boitcoin.

Not such a large sum to get so upset.
Put 10% of tokens on the stock exchange + 10% to the purchase price, 10% of the tokens + 20% to the purchase price, 10% of the tokens + 30% to the purchase price, etc.
Hold 10-20% for a long period of investment.
If the token is serious, it will still grow in price.

Dont blame the altcoin or the team. An investment is an investment, all investment come with a big risk and you learning the hard way. My advice is just to hodl what you have left, you only at a loss only when you sell. As you can see the whole market is at a big dump. Invest what you can afford to lose.

Yes attention to every one don't invest on altcoin now because it has no stable price in the market if you think that the price will goes up it may come down' so not to take the risk on altcoin.

Two months is not enough to get you much profits in this bearish crypto trend so you need to wait long until the market go bullish again which might happen sooner but you also need to remember that there is no guarateed return in the crypto investment so you don't have to feel bad if you lose from crypto currency investment.

Pump and dump in altcoin prices are very common things, one of the smallest reasons that I only see in altcoins is a low price, so as manipulators or even developers are very slow to make market pumps and make market dumps. Investing in bitcoin is great for choosing long term investments while my altcoins only choose for short term investments.

And I sincerely sympathize with you. I do not know, it seems to me that the team is not to blame. The situation in the market is to blame. I think that now many have lost something. But I hope that the market will soon turn green.

LOL waiting and being patience is much needed in the cryptocurrency marketplace. There are very few people on this forum keep supporting cryptos even it's dumped time. We need to be supportive to grow ourselves along with the bitcoin and alts.

We may find the more green in November and December months for sure. So wait for sometime.

First we are still in the bear market and most of the alts are affected.

If this has been done by the developers then no one will know or if someone will figure it out that will be on the headlines. I'm not so sure about this coin because I don't follow it but if its backed up by those companies I think that you have heard some related news about bitmain losing with their some other coins.

I can feel a disappointed member but maybe that was your first time to invest in altcoin because for me, $1,000 was too much to invest in an ico coin/token.

Again, it is better to invest how much that you won't regret when the expectations are cut in between the roads.

Always diversify , investing in established coin sometimes pays up. Like bitcoin, etheruem...

I am not sure about this particular token but tokens who have expolsive growth + are promising dividends tend to be scams.
Stay away from this kind of projects.

Altcoins are wonderful the truth is that you should not judge any altcoin with how good the project is or the platform or exchange that it was found backing it.

There is always a big risk in investment. But it will all depend again on choosing to invest, even patience will be the main actor in investment. What I see here is not only the coins you have but almost all the coins are in bad condition.

This has been always part of the risk which no matter how good the coin we do saw it doesnt mean the trend of increasing price would continue even its being backed by good companies or any other things but it wont signify a guaranteed potential but its much better to have these preference rather than on seeing none. Most of the time price showup can either be a natural growth or just pure manipulation.It do really just work into those ways.

Choosing coins is really important, altcoins is not invulnerable so expect the price to pump and dump because of the market situation. You may find your coin at the bottom but it doesn’t mean altcoins is bad, you just missed the opportunity to take profit.

Love to answer the subject. In my opinion that if you fall inlove and stay with that alcoin and never know how it works and its value changes you go bye bye.

Knowing if will rise needs patients by being updated on every news on what is happening now on that specified altcoin.

1. Understanding
2. Have patience but know the alcoin.
3. Study the changes.
4. If the altcoin has no new and value is down sell it, it is time.

There's alwàys risky on investment dude have you ever read the terms and risks of the company? Anyways over the last two months too there haven't any altcoins that gone up for good and almost stable, all got bearish even the best altcoins I have in my wallet.

Learn to take profit every up trend , dont be blindly greedy there is always oportunity on other alts

Inasmuch as your submission is inline for any serious investor not to allow emotion to overwhelm his decision on any token or coin. there is still room for you to make profit from coinex token if you don't rush to sell it off.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss but the losses are still small, people hae lost millions in this bear market but they still don't get all dramatic about it.

Wow,  u are right I could remember vividly my  love for ost coin (simple token) it's just like a magic seeing the coin dip I was luckily to see a little pump to dump it,  the love that I have for it makes me not to sell at a higher profit then

Sorry for what happened to you because of you loss your hard earned money I will give some suggestions to you that is do not treading emotionally because of it will be going to end badly, so next time you have to invest any top coins in cryptocurrency market and hold for long term.

It usually happen. The bear market still is very much dominant even today, it shouldn't be surprising as everyone still are keeping their money in USD. The new coins today may even drop to its very low if they release them on the exchange before the end of the year. No one could tell whether the team pumped it after all no can provide proof of it but just assume it pumped by some one else to lure investors. Its not just you who took the bait.

This bearish market is not settled one to think and worry about the investment. Quite sometime after we will be find the growth for sure. If there is possibility for you or your friends suggest them to invest all potential altcoins which is the cheap in the marketplace now. If there is growth in future days. All things will be turned your side positive.

In the current situation, any altcoin would give you almost the same result. Even Ethereum is down. Bitcoin went down as well. It's temporary, if you will hold for a longer time you will get back your 1000$ (I don't know much about CET, but I hope it's a promising coin)

You need to exercise great patience in order to make something reasonable out of your investment. Don't let anything force you to sell your coin at a loss. If the project is active and the team is up and doing, I am sure it will recover. Virtually all cryptocurrencies are down at the moment.

Never blind buying even tho your favorite youtuber or twitterer said it. always do your own due diligence to research etc or you will just end up getting rekt and being a bag holdler for a long time. if your looking for altcoin try the low risk coins that has established market cap instead even if the return is small its better than losing , anyway goodluck investing always never follow anyones advice for your own money

I made this mistake in the past.. I didn't have the time to watch the chart and trade accordingly so I just blindly trusted in the markets and respectively in an altcoin's price and I had massive losses in the bear market. I could have accumulated a lot of bags if I'd have had the time to trade.. I regret this but it is a learnt lesson for me.

It is an experience that should be lived for you, so I don't find it very logical to make hodl except for very strong altcoins.

Thats not much , 700$ drop in day / week is kinda low . I had drop from Thousands of dollars and still holding and still feeling positive for a project :) Ofcourse for some people 700$ is loads of money . Actually for me its alot aswell , but before i joined crypto i was ready for big drops and big gains ofcourse :) If you invest what you can afford to lose , then you are fine :)

With recent ETH dip, many altcoins gone down pretty hard, and blaming team isn't a way to go IMO. Always consider risk of red candle, after all, you know what you are investing into (hopefully).

As close to ascension. You're upset that I've done so much damage. There are investors who have a much greater loss.
