Block time : 30 seconds
Mined block confirmations : 101
Transaction confirmations : 6 ( so 3 minutes transactions confirmations )
About 750 blocks have been mined for the dev team ( 0.04464 % of max supply only )

To mine on official pool   :

minerd -o stratum+tcp://"pool stratum address here":3032 -u "your electrocash address here" -p x


Other ports than 3032 might not work yet. Port 3032 is default difficulty



To mine solo :

Launch electrocash-qt       ( with server=1 in electrocash.conf which is in %USER%/AppData/Roaming/Electrocash/ )
or electrocashd and then :

minerd -o 127.0.0.1:9776 -u darius -p rucker --coinbase-addr="your electrocash address here... it must be linked to local wallet!"


As you can see the port  ( for solo mining ) for the local RPC server is 9776 by default.

those are in the electrocash.conf file ( Automatically installed by the Win64 Installer, and manualy added in /home/username/.electrocash/electrocash.conf.

Dev Algo coin  ??? ??? ??? ???

The ultimate goal is to integrate a user-friendly multi-exchange GUI into the Electrocash Core GUI, so that users will be able to trade/buy/sell their Electrocash directly from the Electrocash Core GUI ( ie. the wallet app ) .


Also a long-term goal is to create an algorythm that would make the network require less electric power than most cryptocurrencies now available, but would be as much performant, fast and secure than the best algorithms. I personally believe that this is a necessity for any Cryptocurrency that thrives to live long, because cryptocurrencies that require a lot of electric power, cost a lot ( financially and ecologically ), and are doomed to disappear in our modern world, compared to those that will require little or less.



The philosophy of Electrocash is to be : Fast ( faster than bitcoin for example... ), user-friendly ( so that persons that dosen't know much about cryptocurrencies find it easy to use Electrocash ), easily tradable ( multi-exchange integration into the Electrocash Core GUI ), accessible to everybody ( like Electroneum's philosophy ), and Asic-friendly. This could change if a majority of users and miners believe it would be better to be Asic-resistant.

what's the block reward?

The pool config was being edited, so the pool server was down for a few instants.

If you get too many invalid shares, probably you mine with too much hashing power. Switch to port 3256. It is for higher hashing power workers.

I just added port 3999 with difficulty = 10000 ...



The block reward is 50 electrocash plus the transactions fees.

why isn't the DIFF going up?

It has gone up since I started mining, but slowly. Network hashrate is still quite low.

why official pool not working . i am working on other pool with 2 gpus . very high difficulty . how can we mine .

pool. blabla has been updated to     poolserver. blabla   as the stratum pool address . ( pool. blabla was directing to a wrong IP and I could not update it ....  ( DNS bug ?!?! ) )

So I got banned for security reasons........ was trying to change the speed at which difficulty increases.... made a new account.


The blocs were mined way too fast... There was a ''bug'' in chainparams.cpp, I updated some values so that the difficulty will rise faster as hashrate rise.

I'm deeply sorry for those who mined already, didn't mean to piss you off......

The mainnet will reset and will be relaunched within the hour. I will post an update when it will be ready.

We are compiling the new binaries right now. Some values has been changed in chainparams.cpp

( https://github.com/MerlinMagic2018/electrocash/blob/master/src/chainparams.cpp at line 89 and 90 )    

The mining difficulty will scale better as more hash power hit the mainnet. ( It will rise faster )

I will post updated nodes IPs and updated binaries when it will be ready.

when are the Nodes back online?

compiling is done, and we are now creating the windows 64bits Installer.

Will then update the pool configuration, the links to the binaries, and the official nodes for the new official mainnet

Launch should be in about 1 hour or less.

there's a totally new wallet??

Well not really... it's mostly important for the electrocash daemon ( electrocashd ) , since the difficulty will increase faster than before.

But updated wallet and cli with the right electrocash.conf file ( with the updated nodes IPs ) will be posted in a few minutes !

Main change : The difficulty increase will scale much faster to network hash rate. In version 1.0, too much hashing power resulted in super fast block time, rejected shares for powerfull workers, and no share at all for smaller workers. Now it will be more balanced as the blockchain progress.
