Title: My 120 Days In Bounty Hunting & What I have Learnt
Post by: capableuwa1 on September 18, 2018, 06:19:14 AM
New Additions: Account Farming, Bitcointalk Proof Of Authentication, KYC/AML and The Importance of KYC

Today Marked My 120 days as a bounty hunter and during this period I have gained more experience and knowledge in cryptocurrency as participating in bounty programs gave me additional exposure to the latest happenings around the crypto space. So I decided to drop few things i have learnt and also provide answers to some of the most frequent questions asked.

The Few Things I Have Learnt In The Last 120 Days
During the past 120 days, I have learnt the following from participating in different bounty programs :>
1. Patience: Participating in bounty program have taught me how to exercise patience. I have come to know that whenever they announce that they are going to distribute on a specified date just don’t expect it that day so you won’t be disappointed. Wait for them to carefully distribute your reward directly to your wallets.
2. Effective Time Management: This is one of the most important factor in bounty programs and I have seen many work got rejected because of late submission. Rule is rule and it must be obey irrespective of individual participating.
3. In-Dept Trading: Before joining I will say I have been able to trade in few cryptocurrency trading platform. Bounty have opened my eyes to numerous trading platform that I haven’t used before now.
4. Perseverance And Consistency: This keeps me going to strive for the best all the time. It is true that hunters are at the mercy of Bounty Manger Mangers and the Project team when it comes to distribution of rewards.

What Bounty Is?
Bounties are extraordinary program set aside to create awareness for the development of cryptocurrency projects and such programs usually end up rewarding participants that participated during the program. Another thing you should know is that there is always a specific time set aside for any bounty program, it can be 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and more many depending on the Project and the number of participants that sign up for it.  With this I have been able to classify Bounty into two, which are the specified and unspecified Bounty.
For Specified Bounty, there is always a specific time for such programs to end except otherwise stated. While the Unspecified Bounty end as soon as ICO ends. So it is important for bounty hunters to note the difference especially when choosing a bounty program to participate in.

Who Are Bounty Hunters?
These are some set of individuals that participates in bounty program. In addition, hunters are those set of persons who have little or no knowledge but have already made up their mind to agree to the terms and conditions of any bounty program they chose to participate in. Hence they are the Marketers that deploy their tools to create awareness for cryptocurrency projects.

Who Is A Bounty Manager?
Bounty Manager oversee the well-being of Bounty Program. They launches the program, set rules and effectively manage the bounty program. He or She as the case maybe are the ones hunters report to and are also responsible for awarding stakes. A Bounty manager can also be called; a Campaign Manager. Let me not forget to say that Bounty Manager are experience and it is difficult for hunters to trick them because they have seen it all and knows what it takes to embark in bounty. For Good Bounty Manager, check here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085997.0 Also there are some platforms that launched good bounty programs and in this platforms you don’t need to submit your reports as it will be tracked automatically, such platforms are: BountyHive, Bounty0X, Bountyplatform to mention a few.

What Are Campaigns?
Campaigns are Subset of Bounty. In Bounty Programs, there are different types of campaigns these are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Telegram which can be classified as Social media campaign and lately some Bounty Manager have started Classifying Reddit and LinkedIn Social as Social Media campaigns. We also have Translation, Signature, Content Creation (Articles/Blog and Videos) and Reddit Campaign.

What Stakes Is?
These are deploy tools used by bounty managers in rewarding bounty hunters before carrying out extensive calculations based on token. The beauty about stakes is that it is directly proportional to the number of tokens you will receive. So the higher your stakes, the higher your tokens.

Understanding The Bitcointalk Proof Of Authentication
These are measures set aside by Bounty Managers to help reduce hunters deploying multiple accounts in participating in the Bounty Programs. BTT proof of authentication may require of hunters to submit their details in the Bounty Thread as proof that are own the account they are using. Some Bounty Managers like Btcltcdigger, Maxx and other Good Managers of recent deployed this techniques.

Account Farming
I think this have become the other of the day in most Bounty Programs. The Blockchain technology have been designed in such a way that we can easily track transactions that go in and out of our public wallet and with such, Some Bounty Managers have taken it upon themselves to track Bounty Hunters Wallet Address such as the Ethereum Wallet Address and if there is anyone found transacting within themselves, such will be disqualify and won't receive tokens. The Beauty about this is that even if a particular hunter transfer ETH or any other ERC-20 Token to a fellow hunter and they both participated in same Bounty or previous, Both will be tagged account farming and they will lose their stakes. Amazix have banned so many hunters from participating in their bounty campaigns with this.

What KYC/AML Is?
This has become an important aspect and process that Bounty Hunters Need to go through first in order to be eligible to receive tokens.
KYC =>>KNOW YOUR Customer, While; AML =>> Anti-Money Laundering. For More Information about KYC/AML, please Kindly refer to this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=454795.0

The Importance Of KYC In Bounty Programs
Well, from what i have seen so far, i think KYC was introduce to reduce the number of participants using multiple accounts to participate i various Bounty Campaigns. Earlier Bounty Managers deployed the Bitcointalk proof of authentication. I think this is no longer as effective as it was before, so the KYC was introduce to help work with the former.

Few Things You Need To Check Before Jumping In Any Campaign
1. Carry out extensive research on the background of the projects, check for the authenticity of the team members and advisors.
2. If it is an ICO project, check if they have reached Softcap at least you might get your reward. So I believe you might have decided after checking out those all but important things.
3. Now on the Bounty itself, make sure you read and understand the General rules and regulations of the Bounty. Check the total allocation for the whole campaign to know how feasible it is.
4. Then decide the exact program you can embark on, Translation, Signature, Facebook, and Twitter, Articles/Blog/Video and others.
5. Follow the rules, report your activities according to the campaigns you participate in. You might be required to submit your activities via google form or through the Bitcointalk Bounty thread depending on the project. There are some Bounty that don’t allow participants to edit their already submitted activities while there are some that do not put that into consideration. These are part of the reason you need to read the rules as it will guide in getting your rewards at the end of the campaigns. I have heard and seen reports from different hunters on Telegram Bounty group complaining of not receiving rewards forgetting they refuse to follow the rules.

Do I Need To Pay Before Participating In Any Bounty Program?
No, you don’t pay but rather you are rewarded for participating. Note that rewards are only meant for those who follow the rules guiding the bounty program and also carry out the require task.

Which Campaign Is More Rewarding?
This is a difficult questions because of the number of hunters who get involved in Bounty Program this days. So what I do is after checking the total allocation, briefly I observe the spreadsheet to see where there are few participants. Trust me, Telegram, Twitter and Facebook always have highest number of participants and to earn big over there you will need to be that one participants with the highest number of Facebook friends and Twitter Followers. Also try as much as possible to start your activities from the beginning of the campaign that will give you an extra edge over others.
I think I will have to go with Translation----->>>Signature----->>>Articles/Blogs/Videos----->>>Reddit----->>>Facebook, Twitter----->>>Telegram campaigns. This order shows the highest to the least rewarding campaigns.

Why Have There Been Delays In Paying For Bounty Program Of Recent?
From what I have observed so far, I think most project are trying to protect their token from depreciating in value in this bearish market as almost all altcoins have experience this of recent. Also I will like all bounty participants to understand that as far as you participate in a genuine and sincere project, I think your reward will come but it is just a matter of time they will surely distribute this reward to those participants who carry out the right task and meet the rules of the bounty program.

In conclusion, I have learnt, enjoy and benefited from my last 120 days as a bounty hunter and I anticipates for more progress as my Journey continues.

This is really amazing. What an encouragement. It is also worthy to note that plagiarism is an endemic issues that has eaten deep into the system. I pray all hunters see this and know that hard work pays.

I agree with every rule, but the main thing is that all bounty hunters are in the power of the manager.

The project manager can cut payments or not give you tokens.

Yes i agree with this, all Bounty Participants are at the Mercy of Bounty Managers and the Team Project Managers. So let's not fight or always ask when payment or when distribution? As i have also understand that whenever the team make announcement about distribution on a particular day, just know that it is 50/50 and different issues might arise such as Clogging of Ethereum Network and many others. It is better to keep an open heart and hope for the best. In addition i must commend the maturity and organization of the Distributed Credit Chain (DCC) team as they perform wisely in terms of rewarding bounty participants some days ago, the reward came in as a surprise to many that got it.

THx for post! For a beginner its gives hope for a successful result of work. Then comes the experience, disappointments During this  year of my work, I stumbled with so much scammers deception, starting with the project's team and ending with managers. The worst thing is when your work is using by anybody else. Now scammers use my account in different projects more often . Plagiarism of articles and posts is a common thing. And then you have to spend time and energy on upholding your rights to intellectual property.Good luck you)

You are proof that working on a bounty not only earns money, but also gets knowledge and experience, it is not a mistake if someone says that the bounty is one of the ways to enter the world of cryptocurrency.
Participating in social media bounties allowing us to know the latest projects from so many new developer, joining signature bounty makes us read posts that contain a lot of information about cryptocurrency, following the bounty telegram makes us know various crypto communities.
So many results we can get from the bounty if we want join and learn from it

Yes this is true, the number of hunters keep increasing on daily basis. But the good thing is you already have an edge over other participants who just started Bounty and therefore you will still get your maximum rewards because of the experience, knowledge and probably your rank over others. For hunters to earn well this day we have to do extra activities and put in more effort.  8)

The last 4 months have not been profitable at all, everyone is extending the deadlines and no-one is paying out their tokens. It's even hard to tell if they have been scams or just failed projects, need to be a lot more selective in future

3. In-Dept Trading: Before joining I will say I have been able to trade in few cryptocurrency trading platform. Bounty have opened my eyes to numerous trading platform that I haven’t used before now.

I can't even count the number of exchanges i already have accounts. Bounty is truly an eye opener, most especially for those coming newly into crypto. The first trading i did was because of my involvement in bounty.
The writeup is a comprehensive and self explanatory one.

The last 4 months have not been profitable at all, everyone is extending the deadlines and no-one is paying out their tokens. It's even hard to tell if they have been scams or just failed projects, need to be a lot more selective in future
It might be true but you have to be patient enough because your time will come and also persevere and don't ever think of quitting it you really want to know what crypto can offer to your life.

This post is very inspiring for newbie bounty hunters like me. I have never gained anything yet on my wallet since the first time I have joined bounties and I am patiently waiting because I know that it will be worth the wait even though some of my bounties turned into scam.
Yes the number of bounty projects that are scam are much and the legit ones will even stress you before you get your rewards. But the truth is Perseverance And Consistency as it is one of the things that keeps me going to strive for the best all the time. And i hope some days you will start receiving your reward as the reward for hard work is more work  8)

The work of bounty hunter can be divided into three main stages.
1. Selection of the company to participate.
2. The actual participation in the company bounty.
3. Receipt of earned funds and realization thereof.
Although the time of 2nd stage usually takes the most time, the 3rd stage often exhausts much more. Here, patience and perseverance are in full force.

When deciding which bounty to participate it depends on the rank you have and and on  the allocation split as well.
For example if a Jr member get 1 stake in signature campaign and the Legendary 20 this split favoring the higher ranks
and most probably lot of them join. Contrary , if a Jr member get 1 stake and a legendary only 5  stakes than in
that campaign most probably lot of lower ranks join. Depending on our ranks we can see which campaign is
more beneficial for us to join.

Yes this is absolutely correct as higher ranking members tends to get more stakes compare to lower ranking members. That's the beauty and most interesting thing I have come to realize in signature campaigns. Yes credits have to be given to higher ranking members and I expect those that ain't there yet to work hard also.

Since April I have not received any episodes from the campaigns I participated in. Down market has made the bounty is not like before and the duration of the campaign lasted. Some campaigns last 6-7 months and need 2-3 months to be distributed to bounty hunters. It's crazy to take 10 months to get a small amount from the bounty

Bounty is a way to invest and get the altcoin that you think has the opportunity to grow without investing your money directly (Bounty time is also money, but you can use your free time)

It seems you described what was in my head. The first thing we get here is experience and knowledge, which is important. Patience is usually silent. Bountists are the most patient people. They are willing to wait for the awards for a long time, and if any campaign will not pay, they will proudly go forward, regardless of deception.

To be honest, it seems to me that today there is a very high probability of really getting nothing, because today there are a lot of projects that already know that they will not pay anything, this is a version of scammers that work in the bounty.

Nice thread! I hope it will help others specially newbies to learn more about the situation in the market and functions in trading, bounty and some other key points in crypto-currency community. learn do's and dont's  because cryptocurrency is highly volatile investment and associated with risk! and everyone must apply extra precaution to avoid losses.

The most important thing that I think you have not mentioned yet is the moment. Choosing the time to join the bounty is also a must pay attention. In the context of the boring market today it seems that the bounty is no longer effective.

Thanks for your summary. It will be very helpful for newbies.
I have been on this forum for a long time and I have to say, that I see negative trend in bounty campaigns. Old members are stopped participating in bounty campaigns, while there are a lot of newbies and junior members - this also has a negative impact on bounty campaigns when inexperienced users are promoting ICOs.

Indeed, before, you can earned really huge amount coming from the bounty shared that you earned, now most of those ico extend their time period and those who already been finished mostly hard to find suitable exchange to sell it out, just keep being determine and always find enjoyment with this task treat the rewards as an additional and not the real deal why you are inside this forum, it will helps you being motivated finding other sources not alone with bounty but whatever you can learned from here.

This is good advice but in general bounty hunting is a complete waste of time.  IF your after money you can make much more learning actual skills and getting a job in the real world.   Spammers have been ruining this forum for years because of these "bounties".  Most of them are scams anyways so they end up wasting their time.

I agree. Now, you cannot expect that much like we earned before. Just be optimistic and you can find a good project. Joining a bounty for that long can make you lose hope but when it is for the good successful of the project I will support till it implement on the market. We cannot earn if we change our campaign because almost of bounty projects are expanding their time.

Many people did not receive an award for their bounty work because they were waiting. You should always follow the news and in a timely manner contact the bounty manager if you have any questions.

It has been a wonderful experience for you to be a bounty hunter. it can be said that this is a great help for beginners who are looking for profit but also for a long time in this forum that they also know as a bounty hunter too. This is a great  topic that you make into the sense of bounty, stakes, campaign, and bounty managers you have defined.

A very impressive experience, you are able to describe it well, this is indeed good for imitators beginners. The time is short enough to hunt and with the patience you have to be able to develop and survive well. An activity that deserves to be followed and will have a positive impact on the patient.

the longer in the bounty I think you will be able to learn about and understand a lot of things again. bounty, in essence, is not just about looking for results only. in the selection of the bounty was also certainly should have an understanding of the future and also the technology that will be supported if it has benefits whether or not.

Like you said bounty campaigns requires a lot of patience. Some people expect that by the end of the campaign they will become rich but in reality that is not the case.

Nice explanation there OP, most people think that participating in bounty is just a game, they did not think of it as some kind of freelancing job / side line job and thought that they can earn easy money and whine and get disappointed when their expectation is not met, while others think that this is the thing they can exploit and make  a lot of money without doing anything (see bounty cheaters).  There are a few people like you who understand what is bounty about.

I hope this thread gives light to those who are new to this industry and are seeking to be a good bounty participant.

I really still need to work on the time management one because my concentration does sometimes wander off and it's not easy being a woman also in crypto as I have a lot of tasks to do cleaning, shopping and cooking for the family and so trying to concentrate around giving attention to my family and doing the crypto tasks in hand can be quite challenging, also because lately I got scammed too many times from the bounties I have also not too much motivation, although an impending bull run in 2019 is kind of making me feel more hopeful again. Also, I am now checking to see if projects reach their soft cap first as well. Although they can lie on websites that they raised a certain amount like BIDIUM DID and I wasted like three months signature campaign only to be scammed.

great information, i wish i could have merit for you. two things are very important that never wait for the date of your reward it will automatically come to your account just be update on their telegram channel and also check your stakes in spreadsheet. other one is to hold your good tokens when the bearish market ends for sure you will get good return for those coins.

this post has the right to get a lot of attention. as a bounty hunter, your discussion is very interesting and gives a positive view of bounty campaign. I also learned a lot after more than a year as a bounty hunter. most people (like my friends) think that doing bouty is an easy thing, especially social media campaigns, but when they join and follow my direction to do a lot of bounties, they can only last 1-2 months, they feel that there is no advantage sure, even though it is indeed a risk to become a bounty hunter, if you are able to be more patient, big profits will come to you.

1. You are right - distribution doesn't always occur on said date and usually its always late although sometimes by pleasant surprise its early!

2. Good point also - always double and triple check all the details of what's required including the terms and conditions on a regular basis as sometimes these can change during a campaign even more than once a week and if there's anything you're unsure about don't be afraid to ask the campaign manager but make sure you read through the thread or search the group for the answer first, and use a scheduler to remind you of important tasks if you get really busy

3. Trade with your bag of rewards if advantageous or HODL for a more revived market if its a project with good future potential

4. You'll probably find most bounty managers are fairly reasonable although there are a few bad actors, but if the rules are not adhered to or you are found cheating then you'll likely forfeit the entire reward

Congratulations on sticking with it for this long and hopefully you'll gain more out of this in future

learning someone's experience might motivate you. but you still have to learn about what you are doing and make improvements to your experience. and try to find some people who are willing to give you guidance in the forum to get knowledge and prizes on several campaigns

First i have to welcome you to the space and second you still need to exercise a bit patience before you can be sure to receive your rewards from the bounty you participated in. Another thing you should take into consideration is that as far as the project is not of scam, you did the right thing like following the rules and regulation of such bounty, your stakes are being updated by the bounty manager in charge. I think nothing will stop your reward but it will only take some time. Mathematically, Bounty Hunting is equivalent to patience.

In conclusion, I have learnt, enjoy and benefited from my last 120 days as a bounty hunter and I anticipates for more progress as my Journey continues.

Today most of your clues would not work, because most of good bounty managers had dissapeared without any good reason. It make me worrying.

I am a bounty hunter for much more than 120 days and the most important thing that I realized - you need to sell your bounty tokens immediately as received, otherwise you can stay with nothing. The only exception is the moment of the pump on the market, then you should wait for the best price.

What do you think of KYC for bounty hunters? You seem to be a clever person, so I would like to hear your own point of view. It shoudl be interesting.

I think your post should add the KYC for the bounty. Many people do not know about KYC and do not know why many projects require KYC. What are the advantages and disadvantages of KYC?

You gain a huge experience within 120 days in bounty hunting, You written briefly about bounty campaign.
And KYC is the most important thing in bounty i think you mistakenly not mentioned. ICO program is a another big issue because there are many bounties finished shortly and large margin.

On the issues of KYC, there are Bounty Campaigns like AERGO that requested for an all but compulsory KYC from hunters who participated in the AERGO Bounty Campaigns. I do not see anything wrong with KYC in Bounty Campaigns as i think it helps to reduce or rather eliminate the number of multiple accounts as well as scammer from participating in such campaign. I remember when i started, KYC issue was not that widespread compare to the way it is now that almost all bounty wants participated to get verified before receiving tokens. You may want to remind me of BTT Proof of Authentication, i think there are so many newbie accounts in the forum because this accounts were created for just Bounty Only. As such BTT proof of authentication is not that effective anymore compare to KYC that require a lot from participants.

Enjoyed reading your experience with bounties op. The truth is that bounties are extremely rewarding only when the market is bullish due to obvious reasons which is why many people earned huge amounts during the 2017 rally.

Bounties are worthless majority of the time during a bear market also due to obvious reasons which is why I always recommend avoiding bounties under such conditions. This is a point that you forgot to mention clearly in your long post.

Time is money people which is why I advise not wasting your time with bounties during bear market conditions unless the bounties pay in Bitcoin and are managed by recognized managers in this forum.

many are indeed learning that can be taken from the bounty. in the selection of the bounty at the start will also be deciding whether it could produce a profit large enough and not. but the bad thing is often many are fooled easily by bounty scam and should be the main lessons that have to be mastered.

This has been the most informative post about bounty that I have read here. Well done to you OP. There are a lot of older hunters than you who doesn't do what you listed. I personally like your take on the "most rewarding campaign". Certainly agree that social media is the most crowded and it's useless to join if you only have minimum followers. The ranking is arguable but it's the case for most bounties.

very good explanation. now what happens is that participants complain because they have not yet been paid and you answer it wisely, which is to anticipate the project team to anticipate the fall of token value because the market is currently dying and it would be better to protect it. I am also the same as you, even I am more than 120 days, which is 8 months following a bounty sincerely and always patiently waiting for payment. this is a matter of time, so be patient and enjoy this trip. believe that this is a project and concept that is perfect and will be very profitable in the future.

I am not surprised that just as some people are succeeding in their hunt for bounty campaign, some are still complaining. This post should be an encouragement to them and they should now come to realise the benefits of being patient.

experience and knowledge in the bounty will be used for capital underwent a bounty in the future again. There is no easy job in the bounty if not ready with insights and deepening. Although this is considered a field that produces but also fraught with risks as the scam that could make the work would be in vain without being paid.

Don't generalize all the bounties. Even now, there are plenty of good bounty campaigns out there, which will pay you handsome rewards upon completing the tasks. You need to chose them carefully.

I do not know about others, but i think i am satisfied with my earning so far and i also believe when the market condition get better there will be more than enough earning for bounty participants that are left in the bounty hunting since some are already quieting Bounty hunting because of the little or no reward gotten from it.

ICO bounty has been offering some part time jobs for hundreds of people around the world, but it should not be considered as everlasting job, because bounty terms are changing by the time and according to the new regulations. In addition, the bear market has affected most ICOs which resulted in people lost their times for nothing. So I think it is better to spend time on bounty only when there is guaranteed reward at the end, or where the market condition is suitable.

Well written article, very helpful for beginners and even those into it. I have been into bounties since last year but I was slow to understand everything, it took me time to know. I needed an article like this to put me through. Thanks for this, very helpful

It was interesting to read one more story about how people try to make money with bounties. It wasn't easy for me at some period of time in the past. In the end I decided that it is better to do something else so I started to invest in Ethereum.

Did you really earned any worthy token in these 120 days? Because most of the ICOs were scam and the remaining pays us token but it won't enter any exchange until now so better avoid participating on bounties for now because they are making use of use to make money and pays us nothing.

I am barely earning anything now form bounties so have almost given up and the worse the bear market gets, the more and more unlikely it is for me ever to get paid any tokens that will ever hit an exchange and if they do they will be dumped so hard that I won't get hardly anything for my time. I live in a Western country and life is very expensive here so for me to make anything worth my time even remotely worth a minimum wage right now is impossible. I believe bounties now are only for those living in developing countries or for those without many living expenses, like kids living with their Parents for example who don't have much to spend on bills, rent, food and basic stuff that us normal adults have to fork out for daily.

If I had a merit, I would give it to you for a post. For newbies, this is a very good post. I know all these points a long time ago, but it will be useful for many newbies. At the moment, I personally see a strong outflow of bounty participants and unwillingness to participate in active bounty programs.I hope as soon as the market recovers, then interest in the bounty will once again become strong.

Very good content, but unfortunately the ICO's massive reductions and failures will cause this profession to disappear in the future. Currently, novices are almost confused to enter the forum, and they can't even earn any profits. Now the transaction has become weak, and I don't know how to make money.

Why do you think that KYC verification was introduced in order to exclude the use of several accounts by bounty hunters? This nonsense is spread by the ICO teams, which, on the one hand, want to get hold of our identification data, and on the other, do not pay us the earned tokens through the introduction of such tables, which parts of the bounty hunters will not be able to pass.
Did you clarify which regulation gives ICO teams the right to demand such data from us and violate our privacy rights? In most countries, there are laws that prohibit the requirement to provide such information to authorities that are not authorized for its storage and do not have the appropriate conditions for its storage. You asked the ICO teams what they were going to do with such information, where and how they were going to store it, and for how long? Before writing such nonsense, it would be better to find out about it and not to provide our confidential data to persons who in at least half of the cases are themselves fraudsters.

Every info that they need to start joining a bounty campaign is in this thread.

Everyone wants to join a bounty campaign because they have seen a good opportunity on it. To start with this category might bring us to difficult situations but a challenge for us to be good enough. Though threat sorrounds us but that is part of the success.

learning becomes a bounty hunter. not just pursue only the results, but as a bounty hunter must also can and understand what is done. many may this time bounty hunter simply expect results and do not understand the projects that they support and do not know the terms. indirectly it will disadvantage themselves by could not thrive in the bounty.

I thibk this is the hardest time for bounty hunters, almost all of their existing projects only pay with tokens that never appear in the exchange market. as a result my time is just wasted on that

Being a bounty hunter is not easy to get money. But we got valuable lessons for us to develop in the crypto world. You spend a lot of time researching and making money. But you will also get difficulties like tokens that are not on the market or fake coins.

120 days... Heh, you are a little bit late here, sorry to tell you this :)
I see that you are thinking in a very appropriate way to be a bountyhunter, and hope you will earn enough for your efforts... But the hype around bounty campaigns is almost over unfortunately, the salary of modern bountyhunter is quite small  :'(

Currently, more and more people are leaving the bounty. Someone begins to engage in trading, someone generally abandons this business and switches to some other areas of his life, this is because the income from this type of activity has fallen disastrously now.

Era of bounty is not coming to the end. Bounties will live and bring their hunters the deserved awards. Pity, that these awards will be not as large as before - the market is down.

I think the good old days is coming back with different techniques and measures to curb the lapses in the past. So 2019 might just be the good old days for those left in Bounty Hunting. The bear market in 2018 have discourage a lot and many hunters have quit bounty hunting so those of us left might hit it big again and hopefully it coming soon...

Well, I guess for that period of time which is 4 months of being here is that you really learned a lot in this business. And also you already experienced to earned token in the bounty campaign together you gained some merits too and congratulation also for that things. It is shows only that you are giving a good job here and gave a nice guidelines for the novice/newbies in the forum as well. Well done pal! :)

iam also started my crypto relation from bouties itself its been a great and worst days in the crypto market from my starting. bounty hunting is not been easy have to search many sites compare all of them and select one
Based on the fact that it is written here, it turns out that many people really get nothing, and other people receive very good money. It is very sad that I unfortunately did not do this because I simply did not know.

Yes many did not know what it entails and how to earn in Crypto through Bounty and those that got to find out we're already rich and got good rewards from the Program. I think we should think of a better days ahead as we might just get some things right in the coming days, weeks and years to come as this might possibly be not the end yet but the beginning of greater things to come. So let's prepare, get ourselves ready and accept whatever we see in the marketplace. But I do not think it will be easy but we have to try and make it easy. Thanks for Review and support.

This is excellent information, and I think you have made the right conclusions in relation to bounty programs. I also participate in many programs, and also learned all these truths. This information will be useful primarily for beginners in this market.

Excuse me, what is it all about? Of course, this is not easy because that's why today all the same people are trying to take part in bounty and similar projects. I can not say anything about this. I still hope that we will ever get rich

Today is really the best time to really have the opportunity only to start the learning process, because the time when it is necessary to take part in the bounty is definitely not now. Try all the same to work with it today.

In conclusion, I have learnt, enjoy and benefited from my last 120 days as a bounty hunter and I anticipates for more progress as my Journey continues.

Everyone makes their own conclusions and personally my sound like this: the profitability of this sphere has decreased at times, it also needs to cool down as the crypto-currency market, in order to gain even greater momentum in the future, and there is still money.

Quite the right conclusions you have made. I wonder how many projects you have participated in. Personally, my vision of this sphere-now we are seeing a fading of interest among both bounty hunters and ICO investors.
well i do not see such because what i have seen even during the red market are serious minded Bounty hunters who take out their time to utilize the bear market to accumulate tokens and hope they turn out to something much better when the market fully recovers and another thing to note again is that if hunters participate in fake project the truth is project like that might not live to experience a more stable market in the space.

No bounties in that time period paid any rewards to their campaign participants, most went scam and the remaining paused very few distributed tokens which don't have any value yet. There are some campaigns paid with ethereum and other listed coins but it also didn't stay for too long because of this bear market.SO these are really hard days for the bounty hunters.

Cool, this is the bounty hunter's answer.
they complain more often because payments are delayed.
this situation is not good so this process must be undertaken to keep investors from losing money and ico is not something that is frightening to them.

This is what I think, a time will definitely come in the Cryptocurrency Space where all conditions will be meant and Bounty hunters will have this enthusiasm in promoting projects again. The truth is irrespective of the market conditions, hunters are well needed in the space and because of them many a project especially the Pre-ICO project have been great thus far and I still think we should keep Promoting those projects, carry out extensive research before doing that and wait for your reward with time everything will gets better.

I do agree with you, in most cases, we used to think about us because as a company if they don't reach the target of the soft cap means ultimately they are losing faith and we are going to lose 3 months of work. It doesn't mean it is based on the Bearish market but there are many other projects reached a hard cap during the bearish market but some community members will find potential in it.

Thank you, I think this is the excess and need for Bounty or prospective bounty participants to keep doing extensive research before Participating in any Bounty campaign. Yet even after doing much research we might still be wrong because in the end, either hardcap it reached or not the distribution still depends on the Bounty manager as well as the project team members. This will be great if we all can consider this before jumping into any campaign. Then all, it is all good to carry out campaign with Top Bounty managers in the Cryptocurrency space or simply Participate in campaigns where the token is being escrow. This is another assurance that reward will be distributed. Thank you 8)

Due to market being down been bounty are not making money. It is like when the bull ride is their every one jump into that and makes money from it. But when the bear markets come nobody want to jump in and buy at the low prices so that when the high rise start they can make money for them self. Thus this bounty is not yielding any positive results due to it.

Yes, that's why we have to find the potential project because even though we get low share at the time of distribution. With active developments we can able to see the price of coin will drastically increase in the market for sure.

Well those days are gone now, Bounties doesn't offer that kind of money unlike before wherein there are quite a few high rank members who literally earned thousands of dollars in 2017. Today is no longer profitable because we are in a bear market.

And even worst is the dumping of fellow bounty hunters that's makes this whole trade really hard to make money unless you got lucky and joined a project that turn out to be successful after the ICO.

I still don't think it is better to put all on Bounty Hunters because i think Bounty Hunters might necessarily not be responsible for the total down of the market or the reason why most ICO's token drop almost immediately after listing in any exchange. The truth is we are still in bear market and aside that most ICO's sold out to private investors with huge bonuses. These are part of the reasons why those token drop. Also another is because there is no demand or no strong community support for those project also.

Yes, you have to be patient while joining a bounty because you will need a lot of times to do it for a single bounty and you have to be waiting more because you will need an exchange to trade the tokens.

The things that I have learnt in bounties is that you can hit the jackpot from one of them or you'll be sitting in the corner for getting cheated by the project that did not give what you deserved that you have worked for many months.

Well, I found you have written why bounty rewards is being delayed and it's because the team want to protect their project just because it's bear market. If the project owner don't have faith in their project, who else will have this and how they have raised fund with sentenced that they have something superior than others.

In which country KYC for multiple accounts exist? This is nothing but ICO doesn't want to pay bounty hunters rewards, that is why they don't mention KYC until everything is over because they know that they won't have good marketing.
And during campaign they say that for bounty KYC isn't necessary and then they change it.

That is over one year of bounty hunting,,, I knew about doing a little research even before my very first day;)

Social media and manager? What ever happened to the actual idea of the project? The whitepaper? The community, do they use the coin or are they all holding to dump? Does anyone offer practical use for the tokens?

Don't rely on the manager, the manager is not a benchmark for getting a good bounty.
We must read the entire project and the investor's interest in the project. so that our time is more valuable.

Among all the tings listed above, i think @op should remove In-Dept Trading because it doesn't really connect well with bounty hunting, if you say you are now familiar with lots of exchanges as a result of opening many accounts for the different alts you are rewarded with, that is understanding, but saying in-dept trading like you are now some pro trader because you hunts bounty is a bit misleading,  hunting bounties does not give an in-dept knowledge of trading or @op not fully understand what that word represent :-\

chosing a good bounty manager can sometimes help because some good managers wont accept scam projects . they first scan the project if its legit or not before they decide if they will manage it  . we already save time to do a research by only choosing a good bounty manager but the rest that you said above is also a must do just to double check if the manager that manages the campaign really manages a legit project or not  .

In my view, Bounty hunting is not really profitable nowadays. In 2017, some people make a real fortune from bounty hunting, but now it is very hard to make a good profit with bounties, because there are many scams, and the projects pay late, and the tokens take a very long time to get listed in the exchanges.

Lol! now you have to blame bounty manager for low price of the project you campaign for? how is that a bm fault? to some extent you can't even blame the team of any project for a dump in price of their token because they are not in control of the market, the price is determine by the demand and whales manipulations as well, no matter what research you do anything can still happen.

It depends but most of the time managers doesnt have nothing to do with the price but there are instances where the project team itself do handle out their marketing.
Its either their part of said bounty but most of the time they do hire up some managers on this forum but i dont see why they are taking the blame?
People mindset nowadays is really weird.

good post and you summarized main aspects of bounty service here.
On KYC point i beg to differ as privacy is important part for any person. There are many bounties so doing kyc with all is not good specially if they do exit scam later (most of bounties are scam). Also if you think KYC can be helpful for removing multiple accounts then unfortunately there is grey/OTC market where people sell kyc data for some bucks, so the purpose still remain unfulfilled. People even selling binance verified account however binance started video verification too.

Many projects in past  years where the team itself has dumped their coins when the price was right for them and  this has caused the huge crash for those coins and investors have lost a huge money as well. Also people now do not prefer much bounty projects .

Your statement was very education in terms of bounty hunting for the bounty hunters.
This is very informative too, this should be read by the newbies here in the forum, so that each of them are become aware what they are

"This has become an important aspect and process that Bounty Hunters Need to go through first in order to be eligible to receive tokens." what rubbish.
KYC is not a factor in bounty hunting and should never be asked. Are you telling me you going to give access to some random internet person the same info as your bank holds about you? I trust my bank but so so sorry crypto has no room for KYC.

I don't have to do KYC ever where I live they will tell you to piss off if you think you can just ask KYC.
AML??? How in the hell do you launder something without any input?? Clearly no understanding of the process.

KYC is a cancer and you should never give it out. Not even to be in an ICO. People have no business knowing who you are. You are responsible for reporting your own earnings. You are an adult with a brain so you pay your yearly tax and what you have made. There is no need for KYC. The government doesn't give a crap where the money comes from. Criminals don't pay tax on their profits so obviously people paying tax do not need to take KYC. Anyway, I don't count people who don't pay tax as criminals. I call those who piss the tax money away criminals.

What is this obsession with knowing who everyone is? There is no legal reason to ask for KYC for bounty its all just BS. Giving your KYC doesnt give you any benefit at all. It just exposes you to a criminal network of ID theft. Do you think I am joking? Go good ID theft and see how bad it is. People can ruin your life with your personal details. IS ruining your life really worth the piss amount a bounty gives you?

If a bounty asks you for KYC. RUN!!! RUN FAR!!! RUN HARD!!! DO NOT LOOK BACK!!!!
They will sell that info. People are already buying lists of phone numbers and have so for years and years and I won't be at all surprised if you can pay to get a list of users personal info for marketing purposes.

In my 400+ days of bounty hunting ive learned that you should always do a little research when joining a bounty , check thier social media sites, and lastly if the manager is highly trusted.
For now we must do a lot of research before join some bounty campaign. Even good manager sometime price no good in market. And what can make any decision is us and it will affect on our earning in bounty campaign.

Lol! now you have to blame bounty manager for low price of the project you campaign for? how is that a bm fault? to some extent you can't even blame the team of any project for a dump in price of their token because they are not in control of the market, the price is determine by the demand and whales manipulations as well, no matter what research you do anything can still happen.

Many projects in past  years where the team itself has dumped their coins when the price was right for them and  this has caused the huge crash for those coins and investors have lost a huge money as well. Also people now do not prefer much bounty projects .

I agree with you. too many bounty scams here.
although the moderator in this forum has maximized the prevention of scammers. But the bounty is still favored by some people who still survive their jobs.
