Title: Bounty Participants
Post by: cabalism13 on September 18, 2018, 08:23:53 AM
As you can see many have been nuked and many are telling they've been removed from there previous campaigns.

So I started to make these poll to have a statistics and consolidated data about the New System for Newbies & Jr Members.

And I would love to hear out some opinions about how really they are affected by these rules. Only constructive posts are accepted.

Although this update is to make the Bitcointalk forum more "pure", I think this may have hurt the confidence of beginners!

These new rules hurt I swear. It is very painful to wake up one morning, and after so much hardwork, you have been demoted to a newbie and can only go up unless you have a merit. And these things hardly ever come by. Well, it is a good one for the community though, it would reduce the spams, and in the right time, those that are well deserving will get their merits.

Theymos's opinion is enough to give you the main thing how he was doing it before. The forum has been nuked by new accounts that have been used to join only in the signature campaign. We need more restriction to give limitation for those are creating more and more new accounts for the signature purpose only. But i thought that theymos must increase the minimum merit point to be a junior member. It's to close the possibilities of merit transactions or trading.

At least it gives some punishment.

Come and pay attention, the newbie makes efforts, you have to spend more time and energy to improve the rank in the group.

We all know that there are too much newbies and jr. members in this forum, those accounts are only created to do bounties and airdrops even most of those accounts have only one user, that's why the moderator/s designed this new system in this forum to control the number of users who don't really know the paying process in this forum and how it really works.

I was also affected by the new system uplifted by the bitcointalk, but surely bitcointalk wouldn't make any move that the users can't get benefit from it. I regain the 1 merit luckily, and it is a good help filtering those users that are spamming in the thread.

Honestly, i have been affected by this recent rules implemented by the administrator of this forum. The bounty that i am participating wanted to kick me out if i can't find way to wear their signature. There are a lot of talks about merit selling/buying but i did not go there because for me that would be scamming/fraud and it would result in red trusting this account.

This recent move by the admin is another milestone for this forum to sanitize/eliminate spammers or even bots. This is great for me since the competition if we are to join bounty campaigns would be fair though joining bounty is only secondary on why i am here.

Hi there!

In my opinion its a good update, reasons enough for this to do and dont but, there are alot of scammer who can make account after account, this problem hast bin fixed yet..

Multi accounts are more likely to stop since people wont be jr member soon with the merrit distribution of this time.

Merrit is scares and people dont give out merrit enough i guess. I see alot of **** posts getting merrit while people that are making a serious post are left behind.

Maybe the merrit thing isnt doing what its suppose to do, and i hope bctalk will overcome this frustrative problem ( not for me but i can understand all newbies here)

Maybe in a other update!

Greetings! 8)

No, the new system didn't affect me, it affected those in Jr.member rank with no merit since they have been on bitcointalk forum, i hope i can have merit on some of my post i want to rank up to full member.
