What is happening now with the market. of course, it is clear that the market is cyclical, and will move like a roller coaster up and down. But even judging by the charts, the market is behaving strangely. The reason?

the market is still experiencing a very severe situation, namely a very drastic and long decline in bitcoin prices to recover. I hope the market price will improve soon.

It stagnates, those who have money are buying bitcoin little by little that's why some high ups&downs, and when they get everything what they want, that is the time for the mooning... You must just buy low and sell high, that is the way. But who has a lot of money he only buys now when it's still cheap.

The reason is external world that is the real world decisions making process! It is also known as the fundamentals of the crypto currency where they are solely dependent upon the news that is happening around the world. The global news may be related to one nation or many nations together. Now for example India banned the crypto currency and that affected the Internaional trades very badly because most of the people thought that the crypto will drop badly now as Indians will dump their currencies soon. Thus it became the bad news for global trades and the value drops sharply.
In similar ways SEC and ETF matter is closing hot these days and thats what keeping the market going upward!!

This looks another correction because last week crypto has been getting a little recovery on its price. The latest chart of ethereum and bitcoin looks so stable and that means there was no a bad news to the crypto. The bad news can push the crypto goes down even more. Remember a few weeks ago and that's an example.

This is not strange, if you just look the historical data all movements is just normal. Just be sure you ride it good and don't panic when markets turns silly. I was holding couple of token in my wallet waiting for the reversal of bear market. Hopefully I can see it this year.

A correction, hm, may be or may be not. There had been a massive correction already and this could be just support wall crashing on its own. They will start pouring the money back again when they see some green in the CMC and then they start getting the FOMO feeling and then push the market above naturally. So lets wait for that moment to happen really.

I think the market is not stable and has no serious predictable direction, this phase of the cryptocurrency is a revolutionary phase and will move to the next level in the nearest future. There are a lots of reason that can be adduce to this,especially the EOS migration.

It's good that market not in the mood of big high up and low. Slowly slowly recovering the market and from the top coins XRP gets good up around 17%  :D

Well i think no one can predict the price of it, even the most expert in crypto feild cannot predict the exact date or maybe time on when will be  price rise or maybe fall. Because the price of crypto coin is not depending on one person only. It depends upon the volume of investors in crypto market.

The market is correcting based on supply and demand, supply is extremely high for ETH so its value and in tandem the value of all other altcoins has dropped considerably. You can likely blame those ICOs for this, dumping their tokens on the market at the earliest convenience.

Reasons? Pure market manipulation, this is not the first time that we witnessed this so you are correct, its cyclical. We will settle in a sideway trends for about a week and then a pump of about $1K and then when you least expected, the price will go on another nose dive. That's why others learn to day trade and be flexible at this bearish trend, otherwise you will be losing a lot of money if you kept on believing that a massive bullrun is imminent.

I would not tell what collapses. Capitalization of the market fell, but it does not mean that it is ryno destroyed. I believe in its fast restoration.

In my opinion you have to see both ups and downs when it comes to trading. Yes it has been collapsed now but this is not the end. Let's wait for a bullish run if it goes well then you will see the value will start rocking automatically.

Well, its visible in the charts that the market is really a roller coaster. This is simply because the demand and supply is also a roller coaster,  i think all of us knew that when the demand is high the market will also rise. Thats why if do panic selling it will just make the situation worst because these coins will just be dump and the supply will increase thus the price or the market will go down.

You can have a lot and you can buy in bulk in low price if you still have money that willing to gamble with.  Please be in mind that,  there is no quick returns right now and you might have those profit a little bit while due to unstable price fluctuations.

Well it's like a seasaw game ups and downs are common in trading. Yes don't panic and sell coins if the market is down wait for your day. I believe it will pump slowly in upcoming days.

The market has changed a lot during one year and I feel that a huge reason behind it would be the scams and fraudulent activities in the market that people have finally realized. Manipulators are trying to gain profit by manipulating the market according to their wish and even SEC has acknowledged that. But still I feel that the market will stabilize sooner or later once we are done with the down trend.

Still market is on,dump and not growing well in year 2018 but unfortunately it is our advantage to buy a promising coin because it's now affordable and good to invest in volatility.

The reason behind the complicated movement in market is still not assured. But it is something related with the msrket volatility. What we should focus more is holding and waiting for the recovery to happen rather than spending your time to find the reason why this scenario occurs. the reason is, if the market is centraliz, the market can be played by the pope and by the state or government also involved there. that's why Vitalic once said in his interview, hopefully everyone will go to hell which makes the centraliz market

Nothing had really much change in the crypto market and it so happen that this year cryptocurrency had undergone several down trends compared in the previous year. Also, cryptocurrency such as btc has dropped more than 50% when it had reached the $20k mark in the previous Q4 of 2017. However, I am seeing a major correction which I believe most of the cryptos will rally in the coming months before the year ends.

There is no serious recovery yet and I would rather classify that just as a short term thing because the market has not been able to find a bearing yet. Above $7k could bring in some good participation if the bulls are able to make some level of impact in making the scenario more pleasing to invest, and if we go below $5700, that calls for further dip and in this case, we sure are looking at another opportunity to buy lower, so I call it. Nothing is happening in the market apart from the normal fluctuation which is applicable to any other market.

Only two reason can cause this behaviour, one is FOMO and is Panic sell, that is why the market is finding it difficult to either keep going up or down. If there is too much panic sell, the market will go down beyond expectation and if also there is too much FOMO, the market can even go higher than what it was in December 2017.

Almost every time the market goes red all alts dropping for no valid reasons except for the big dumps. Take today's situation. The news are mostly positive, there are more and more new adopters, and yet there are regular drops in price of all the altcoins. I think apart from the obvious sh*tcoins all the other will recover, but no one can tell when. Well, actually we can say when, but we can't say the exact date. The market will recover when whales will either run out of most of their coins or will decide to stop selling for a while to let the price naturally rise due to wider adoption.

Everything will come back to normal, but it should take a lot of time. The cryptocurrency market will begin to grow and perhaps by the end of this year it will begin to recover and the market will grow by 30-40 percent.

Looking at today's market I think we are still far from stabilizing. Most altcoins have lost 5%-10% in 24 hrs. We all know that the price will almost surely bounce back in the next 2-3 days, but that's not what you can call a stable market. It's interesting that some coins, like Bytecoin and Siacoin, are rising while most of others are falling. And I'm wondering are there valid reasons for that? I mean those are not sh*tcoins with $10k-$20k daily trading volume. Siacoin's volume is over $29 million. It's not that easy to manipulate with such coin's price. ... Or it is?

I remember last year when the coffees considered Ripple, Sia and DigiDigiByte started to be pump, and then the entire market was pushed up an alarm, even coin garbage also increased. I'm quite skeptical that this signal can happen again

But for some reasons these things are happening to altcoins even today. Now Bytecoin and Siacoin have lost 3% and 8% respectively, but others, like Zcash and Steem have gained almost the same percentage. And this is happening when almost all the other coins are in red. So far I can't say if this a coincidence (most likely it is), but I will keep my eye on such coincidences in the future.

Still can't understand what makes coins like Steem to rise that much in one day(8%) especially taking into account that they are expecting hardfork tomorrow.

I think that now the market is being manipulated. Manipulation of crypto-currencies is very diverse in its manifestations and this has a very negative effect on the status of cryptotrading in the eyes of many users and institutional investors.

The reason is that way too much money has left the market from people selling their coins, if you look at the coinmarketcap then you will see that a lot of money has been removed from the market so far and there is not enough demand for the coins to balance it out hence the price of the coins being low. It will only be a matter of time though and then the coins will be back on better prices.

The reason mostly i think now is that few countires are allowing banks to get the green light to crypto and now it is time for "gathering". Market is really unstable and we did not used to it when we compare it to previous years. Bull - green market will appear in late Q4 i think. So it is best to wish for full pockets and getting ready for rockets.  :)

I believed that a reversal will occurs, its just a matter of time. However, if you're saying that we're going to repeat our past performance this year then I doubt it.

What we can do is to accumulate as much as we can in this bear market, Bitcoin, Ethereum and all other worthy coins are still down so the opportunity is there. We only have to take the courage to buy and hodl it for a long time (1-2 years).

In my opinion, with the current market situation, I suggest not to panic and stay calm, everything will be fine, just a matter of time, in my opinion the thing that causes the market to decline due to panic, when someone knows the market is down, he will panic and start selling with low price.

I think the electronic money market is stuck in place to wait for the opportunity to break out. As in 2017, the electronic money market will be booming at the end of the year. Coin prices will rise.

The main reason is that there are no positive rumors in Cypto, for example, so far we only hope with the ETF's decision and until now every date the decision is certain the market has declined because there is always a refusal from the ETF. and thus there will be trade panic and falling prices but on the contrary many also take advantage of these moments to reap cheap prices in panic so prices will soar again and market conditions continue this year.

I think the current situation in the market is the true manifestation of what volatility is.Gradually goes up at time and abruptly goes down oftentimes.What we need is strong determination and never panic selling for it will worsen the situation rather than help it to recover.

Believe me buddy, it's actually so frustrating that I can't fathom any cogent reason(s) responsible for the ongoing strange market. Well, I have been able to come to this conclusion that some external strong forces are making things happening to benefit themselves, while leaving the weak to suffer the loss.

The current market situation is not encouraged at all. The crypto market is experiencing a long period in the fall of crypto price. The price of coins in market have gone down so badly but I hope things will change soon.

From my point of view, current situation for market caused it has cross the line in big time frame for changing the trend, october and november it try to break the line that for change to bullish trend.
So, I won't say it because fake news, FUD, delaying for ETF decision and more.

There are many reasons why the market behave the way it does and I believe this created the uncertainty we are seeing now.  Many people could have love the repeat of what we have last year as there was a clear direction and everything was in a bullish momentum.
I don't think we should invest in all the coins now as some of them may not do well in years to come and some projects has been abandoned by the developers.

It is quiet difficult to point to what exactly is causing the decline in crypto currency prices. I think all other coins depend on Bitcoin, but Bitcoin has gone a little bit up, but I don't know why the other at coins are not rising too.

Due to the bear market things have been changed oppositely, now the negative peoples ratio is more as compare to positive peoples in the market. IMO this thing will change and we will going to see again the bull run like dec 2017 in this year. I believe the market is still in its recovery stage. Although the market is recovering at a slow pace as against the projection of some people that hope a very quick rise in the market. We will definitely still experience a bull run but I don't it is going to happen as expected.

Cryptocurrency suffers from inflation. Too many tokens created today. They are worthless no real products. They are also difficult to enter exchangers because the tokens have no value and liquidity. More money less procuts that cause cryptocurency fall and decrease slowly every week and every months.

I think one of the reasons why the market has been like this is because investors are being more aware with their money, now there is only enough money to invest in projects that are really good, so it is stabilizing the price a little and if it continues like this, will continue the mass adoption.

Yeah market now cyclic and I think it's pretty good for short term investors. If can get the good bottom and high then good profit. Even in this down trend also.  Seems like natural growth no manipulation.  :)

There is no specific reason for the movement of the market. all up and down the value there is a reasonable case occurs. of course everyone knows the market is influenced by the existing demand and also other fundamental aspects such as news about crypto. for the current state, I don't think there is another special case reversed the decline and increase in value.
