The bad news his "explanation" is nonsense so either
a) he is a scammer and looking to just string you along to bring in more marks before it becomes obvious
or
b) he is utterly incompetent and has no idea what he is doing

either way that is not a good sign.

It looks to me as if it was never intended to be a legit trading site rather a scam all along. It seems extremely strange that support should drunk and wasted and still tell you. Personally I'm thinking this is a one man scam show.

WTF!
If a transaction platform is so irresponsible, then it will be lose more customers whether it is has been involved in or will be involved in . Meet and resolve customer requirements is  the most important work for you now, show your attitude and the final solution. We have paid attention to this matter, before the matter is not resolved, we will not make any deal on your platform, and we will tell all the people.

It is user responsibility to check what is valid deposit address. On the other hand, exchange guys should have a backup of all private keys used.

This is NOT an acceptable professional position. You or your platform is definitely morally, ethically, and most likely legally responsible for a customer's error that is in part indirectly caused by the platform,
notwithstanding the suggestion to the contrary.

Including errors caused by your platform changing the customer's deposit address and rotating out an old one, failing to automatically identify the deposit, or whatever.   Even if for your part, you cannot "recover" the deposit.

If the wallet was generated by service,  then there is no excuse for the service to say the deposit address was invalid.      Nothing gives the service provider the right to hold the deposit there without crediting the customer,
pretending the receiving address to be invalid,  because of limitations of the service provider's software.

If the customer deposited to any address ever offered as a deposit address by your platform,
then you are responsible to make  commercially reasonable efforts to return the erroneous deposit
up to and including, reimbursing the customer, or crediting them  from the service's business funds,
if  YOUR PLATFORM lost an old private key.

Obviously, an exchange would not be responsible for losses  caused by the market  or timing of order fulfillment.

BTC Deposit  address must be valid, because before the last Deposit   has many successful records

To correct myself, this is scam attempt! Coins were moved afterwards to different address and are still there:

https://blockchain.info/tx/2a11c42c54810c808c6d80474df67f31d58265b3595f16563b72fda4719aff95
https://blockchain.info/address/138oGog2H7yqbj3MFC6FvaqUjyTG5jeJeH

So clearly private key was not lost nor it is anyone else other than exchange guys or someone other with access to wallet who had private key.

Atomic Trade please refund nhcaochong.
