It is almost impossibe or at least increasingly complicated to get stem cells from a different country, there's also no way to check the quality of that and know precisely under what conditions said stem cells were made, due to the low transparency of labs actually working with stem cells. With SCI the aim is to have complete and transparent reviews of these laboratories while allowing people to select from where to take the cells. The problem today is labs now are not that equipped and there is no coordination between different labs and no control over the quality too among other things. There are challenges but these challenges I think could be possible we would be able to decrease if not eliminate most of these problems in the time to come.
