Title: Whatsminer M1 33TH/s 65w/TH , Nov/18 Batch
Post by: taserz on September 19, 2018, 02:14:31 AM
I have another party interested in ordering a bunch of M10's and if we purchase over xxx we can get them for roughly $1,450 USD for the November batch. Which is $138 cheaper than they sell them on their website. Now I figure buying these in bulk also saves on shipping costs since they would be shipped in bulk and not individually. I also figure it would cost roughly $50 sent via UPS anywhere within in the lower 48 States with insurance per miner.

I am curious if there are any other parties interested in throwing down on an order with us. If we were to order over 500 units we could get the price even lower but between myself and my friend we were not looking to order that many but if enough people are ordering a large number this can be done.

I am not too fond of showing any of my recently used wallets but if anyone wants another wallet or such just private message me.

Think you nailed it Philip, that tariff is killing demand. The extra cost makes these unprofitable in raw BTC profitability terms. Plus its hard to stomach paying a 25% tax on anything.

If I didn’t have to worry about the crazy tax on these I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

Now you guys know how I've felt for last four years paying the 24% VAT here in Finland.

It really sucks what Donald is doing in the US.  :-\

Yeah, but you get medical care we don't. >:(

I am frozen to order any new gear.

I expect at least 300 usd and maybe  as much as 1400 usd in back tariff tax bills.

most likely  820 will usd will be the final number.

True,
I understand.

I was only referring to buying miners.

Can we contest the tariff since the asic doesn't really fit the definition for it.

You could probably contest the 2.6% but I doubt they would give up on the 25%

You would have to contest the ruling in place, as well as propose a new one. Which you would want to have a ruling outside the scope of the 301 action (tariffs), most likely though you'd still pay something. I think domestic shipping in the US will be more than $50 if insured. The psu group buy we did and was close to $40 in shipping for a psu to ship across country (west coast to east). Some customers were only charged about a quarter of that which we soak on an error.

Is 1450 price with tariffs included? otherwise pano is listing 12/30 batch for about the same.

Yea, M10 is available. M10s is more rare but can be found I imagine. I would just check our site and go from there for pricing.
