I think bitcoin made a huge job market for the IT industry because the demand and the popularity bitcoin gained during last couple of years many organizations in various industries started to launch there own digital currency to make there business more effective and efficient with that they had to recruit large number of IT employees.Still no idea roughly how many job vacancies were created in the crypto world but it is increasing

What you have mentioned is true for any good invention there is a bright side and there is a dark side and that happens due to people and nothing wrong with the invention for bitcoin its is the same and I hope bitcoin will be a miracle in the future like you have mentioned instead of becoming a curse to the world due to greedy and dark people and I really mean it.

I certainly agree with you OP.  Bitcoin does made a great contribution to IT industry, it paves ways to different  innovation especially on the Financial department. 

Not only the IT industry, it also revolutionized financial system.  As we can see Bitcoin omits middle men and tone done prices of commodities since people can buy directly to the supplier with the use of Bitcoin / cryptocurrency.  It also enable each cryptocurrency users to send remittances anywhere in the world with a huge discount.

agree, to develop an industry that is based on crypto, not just economists and IT experts. indeed people who are experts in crypto are very important, because they are the ones who actually know the crypto market well and how they walk.

Yes I agree, it really needs people who are knowledgeable about cryto currency for efficiency. It needs effective and efficient man power for market development.

no i disagree because so far all the things that were actually launched based on blockchain technology have mostly been hot air and was done for fundraising purposes not to use the benefits of the blockchain technology or even to improve it in any way.

I guess that by "bitcoin",the OP means blockchain+smart contracts(even though smart contracts aren't tied with bitcoin).The crypto industry created some jobs related to online wallets and cryptocurrency exchange platforms maintenance.The full economical and technologic potential ot the blockchain technologies is still undiscovered.

Yeah thats the truth. Its all about the blockchain and not the bitcoin itself. Bitcoin is just currency that is evolving over it.

Surely blockchain is getting explored a lot these days and I would say any legit ICO project that is being formed over the smart contracts is getting their offices established physically and thus creating the job opportunities for lot of IT professional.

Not only those but also many PR's, publicist, economist and legal people are also getting blessed with in the process.

So one way another, yes blockchain is helping a lot in creating the job opportunities.

I definitely agree with you buddy that the Bitcoin has bring a large impact in the community of crypto currencies. I am really one of the crypto users that is proud to be able to use the Bitcoin and make it my life changer most especially in my financial state. There are times where I realize that I am so lucky that I entered the gate of the crypto currencies because by that, I definitely find something good for my life, to make my daily transactions faster, secure and convenient.

You are only touching on one industry, but Bitcoin also created jobs in the manufacturing industry <GPU/ASIC & mining hardware> and it also created jobs in the online Gambling industry. There are also people working full-time in hosting presentations and events to educate people in Bitcoin matters, like Andreas M. Antonopoulos is doing.

We also see online activities like Youtube & Podcasts and also Crypto currency forums and websites dedicated to Crypto currency matters.  ;)

Where there are busy people around there are works to do and it needs human resources. All people related to the company and the job description and their previous works might be needed. Not only IT graduates who have been hired but also staffs that do marketing and other field jobs. Like in mining there are people who are electricians that see to it that the power is right. If the project is constantly updating and growing another team would be build, and sometimes goes international leading to hiring local people.

Yeah seems Bitcoin give lots of opportunity in some country, because of the popularity of crypto nowadays many businessman learned how it works and then they built an company involving cryptocurrency and use it as a payment transaction this is very good in IT industry cause crypto is computer technology as well.

Yes, I do agree with you. bitcoin has created a lot of possible across many fields and it has shown a tremendous success rate, that's why a lot of firms and other businesses outside it IT industry are trying to create their own token and improve their businesses.

I think Bitcoin is still showing great potential in the future. It will have a major impact on the world economy. It performs well the transaction. The process of being highly secure and efficient is also proportional to security. It also saves time for users. At the same time cut off the fees incurred. All of this is because it allows direct transactions without third parties.

It did create a new industry, and consequently new jobs, but I don't think it's a significant job creator yet in the grand scheme of things. Most countries obviously don't see it as a positive factor in employment yet, considering their general wariness in letting the industry in.

Things are completely different in Japan though, where there are a lot of exchanges lining up for licenses. It's looking like they're about to solidify crypto as its own industry in the near future.

As for people getting jobs launching their own coins, lol. Most of them really just prepare themselves for an exit scam. We're better off ignoring them.

I do agree with that in this business it can cover a very broad sense of business that will continue to increase and develop, it can be said this is a very good opportunity for everyone. and in this business there is no need to have any skills certificate, The most important thing here is having knowledge about cryptocurrency. but in this business it can't be said full time job Maybe it can be said part time job.

You should have mentioned the blockchain and other technology behind these coins and not the bitcoin itself because this is just a currency and a product of technology

I believe that this community favors IT people as this is their field but remember that theres also lot of marketers here that know figures and not tech

I think that there are definitely more IT related jobs now, but it isn't due to Bitcoin, it's actually due to blockchain tech. Blockchain has opened up so many new industries that people are only just starting to get their teeth into, such as smart contract development, token economics and even ICO accelerator services.

Yes agree. Bitcoin created a lot of opportunity in It as well as other industry too. IT people doing research in blockchain and many institutions providing education about blockchain and ultimately many people engaged in blockchain directly or indirectly and earning money.

The contribution of bitcoin through blockchain in the IT industry cannot be quantified. Just check the growing number of websites devoting to crypto news and events. Add this to the number of enrolment into bitcointalk.org, and check the number of bounty managers and their staff members. Not to omit the growing number of bounty hunters all across the world. Not forgetting that more and more exchanges are opening. Check the number of miners and mining farms... and the list is endless.

I agree, my former IT supervisor is now doing a consultancy as a developer of a coin which is on top of the chart right now. I can see that the recognition of BTC is also an opening for more career not only for IT professionals but for other professions.

I think there exist an indirect market job with the rise of bitcoin leading the cryptocurrency economy. We saw exchanges sprout here and there and that alone entails employing IT related activities. Even the simplest form of marketing online creates job opportunities that are not limited to IT alone.

And as the blockchain technology gathers snowballing interests, job opportunities are surely on its way. Add to that the growing innovation ICOs are bringing on the table. In a few years time, there will be more need for blockchain technology experts.

Companys are not selling BTC propaganda, only BlockChain. The increase in value comes with de BC applies to business, but said that, not everything need to be done in BC, and it seems that nowadays if you want to make something, you have to make with BC...

I think blockchain will change and transform the way business keeps tracks of there work. Even if bitcoins fails and goes to zero, blockchain will still find its use cases, as long as the blockchain are secure, then companies can keep track of there production and products.
Bitcoins will most likely be the drive force that make people interested into the many opportunities in blockchain and I think more business will find a way to use bitcoins as a payment options. But for most people bitcoins will become a store of wealth.

So probably we are in blockchain era, with some people got to have the opportunity to have a job but some are getting took for granted as they've been use by those scam icos, so little did they know that they're working with unethical people. BTC had and will off course job for people in IT industry but it will surely give jobs in others area like banks, economic news, teachers, countries, expert... it is just the begin and when it will be adopted by much more people a lot of derivative job will be created and this is great for industry and people.

Yup you are right. Many new coins are coming on daily basis but there are many few which are successful.

I do not completely agree with you. Many of the things associated with bitcoin can be done with minimal knowledge in IT. Probably the few technical areas are what will require IT specialist but the fact is how many IT specialist can be employed in this area.

Although not everyone agrees, bitcoin has created beneficial situations in lots of arenas (IT included). In saying that, in the future it will likely bring its own set of problems (e.g. illegal trade etc)

the blockchain is future like internet. now not yet people know enough about bitcoin and crypto. but industry crypto will be
