I think many people have this problem in these days . In my opinion , BITCOIN FORUM should supply a place to buy merits from them.I think it is good to all of us..
 So  What is your Opinion??? :D :D

Then people are able to get the one merit they need and aren't going to spam bounties or advertise them if they risk getting negative trust and losing everything :).

I really don't think if this is a good idea to be discussed, but selling and buying merits is not the main problem of the forum.  Please stop trolling if that is your intention.  ;D I have read a topic wherein they discuss about making merit a token/coin and trying to make an initial con offering for it,  but i don't take it seriously.  

There's this crazy idea going around this forum to earn merits. It's very well hidden from shitposters, they don't have a clue it even exists! It's really a groundbreaking method, which is actively being used by thousands of users to earn Merit.

What is this spam?

Don't you think allowing the purchase of merits would be oppressive to new members who may not have settled in the crypto space? Ideally, people should join this forum because they need help from experienced members in crypto (and other kinds of services) and/or because they want to provide some kind of help to other members, while they improve their own skills. Helping one another to get their problems solved shouldn't be a difficult task unless we all want to selfishly rank up and leave the forum with shitty posts.

Why would you buy merit?

Seems lots of members don't understand why merit system was implemented here on forum, selling merit is not good, it is like buying high ranked account without proper knowledge in this forum and the only purpose is to earned money not to help the community to grow and to help new members to understand cryptocurrency, if newbies want to gain merits they have to post quality content an informative thread that could help new members and the old members as well.

If merit is sold, then some spammers might be able to post garbage and earn money via a signature campaign their purchased merit would allow them to participate in. However this will not be a widespread problem because moderators would retain the ability to ban these spammers and if this happens the spammers would lose out on the money they spend on the merit.

Further the idea that people will distribute sMerit for reasons none other than “post quality” without corruption is just ridiculous. If merit is given based on post quality then someone who is corrupt but has the ability to make good posts will “earn” merit indefinitely and can potentially sell said merit.

It isn’t realistically possible to moderate this because of off site communication channels and there isn’t anything to stop someone who is selling merit to occasionally give merit to random people to hide who they have sold merit to.

Really? If we had such a thing in the forum, we could also abolish merit immediately again. I hope there never will be such a thing.  ;)

In my own opinion,why don't you use the Energy and Time spent in thinking of possibility of getting Merit and use it for Development  and Sustainability of the Bitcointalk forum. Don't you know the day you stop learning is the day you stop growing ,Mate we need Divine ideas to be unveil and shared here than merit.
