Hi EgyKing, the impact on the target of the investment is huge. Right now they can't raise funds via equity without legal, due diligence and corporate finance costs and this is what we're reducing right down.

Perversely, start-ups get an easier ride raising equity, because there are plenty of platforms out there serving them, with mad valuations based on hockey-stick forecasts. Our focus is not on start-ups but on businesses with financial track records - which are the vast majority, and full of really attractive investment opportunities.

The problem analysis is detailed and looks good. The platform, an investment community backed by smart contracts and their own exchange. Smart contracts really can solve the problems in such cases.

Just a quick question. Is there any publicly available information about the previous results of the investments what InvestX made? With this info we can get a rough estimation about what we can expect in the future if we jump on the bandwagon.

Hi Snail2, Investx has been managing investments in UK SMEs and you can see those businesses on www.investx.co.uk. We have successfully implemented a growth strategy for each business and since the start of 2018 they don't require our day-to-day input.

Our crowdfunding model is of course a different model, where for investments we list we will not take a managerial role in each business, and we will not have ownership. That simply wouldn't be scaleable, and since deal flow is important for token price, scaleability is our focus alongside quality of investments available.

We will apply our experience and knowledge of what makes good investable businesses to select businesses for listing on the platform, and we'll start to announce the first few as the ICO progresses.

If InvestX will not take a managerial role in the listed companies how you guys can ensure that they using the investments effectively and doing the necessary structural changes?

Managerial would mean personally running 1000+ businesses, no crowdfunder or even PE or VC company takes managerial roles in the investments it arranges or looks after.

We are no different in these respects to any other crowdfunder. Not to be confused with Venture Capital, where the VC chooses which companies to invest in and takes a slightly more hands on role (because they usually take 20% of the investment returns).

Dear all, unfortunately we have taken the decision to end the Investx ICO early and refund all contributions. The current market for ICOs raising is very tough and we did not gain any real traction and therefore think it fairer to refund early rather than carrying onto the end of February when the expectation is that we will miss our soft cap by a long way.

We explored the possibility of an STO or hybrid model and bringing the platform development to MVP but do not have the budget for the additional costs for these.

Thank you for the belief you have shown in us. We really wanted Investx to be a project with community ownership, but unfortunately the community have bad badly burnt in crypto and ICOs in the last year.

What will happen to contributions / INX purchases?
All contributions / INX purchases will be refunded in the next 2 weeks.

What will happen to bounty rewards earned for re-tweets, follows etc?
We will pay out INX rewards as promised, and unlock transfers but of course it is extremely unlikely INX will be listed on any exchanges and there will be no platform to use it on.
