Title: How hard to earn merit?
Post by: djprobsbd on September 20, 2018, 01:52:48 PM
Merit is hard to earn or not. I have seen many newbie have hundres activities but there is no merit. I know there must write high-quality post can be taken Merit, but I see some people just post a gif image also take Merit from someone. I forgot the link to the gif post to quote, but this is real I see.

Besides, I see many post with 7-8 lines, content is okay but there is no merit. What do you think?

Everywhere there are many Threads.

We can be a Jr. member someday.

i also envy the members above jr.member, want that they can give me.

But, It is a rule here, and cuz of strict rule, this site can be kept.

I also find something good info. and would be jr. :)

It's really easy to find merit - Jet Cash has got a big bag full of sMerits looking for good homes. The hard part seems to be finding the magic words that open the bag for the silver tongued posters - well silver keyboards anyway.

A merit bag is like Pandora's box. You have to be careful when you open it, and not let all the merits esacape into the wilderness. Mayhem ensues when merits rain down like locusts. The need to de-mote ensues. A "mote" is a speck of dust, and we need the dust to be removed from out eyes, so that we can enjoy the bright vista of the coruscating posts in the Bitcoin Talk forum.

Merit is hard to find or not.

You dont have to find the Merit ! The merit finds you(r) quality post(s) , if there are some existing or coming !
But your history looks not promising in some way !

Merit seems to be too hard for the newbie when they are not treated fairly

:) It's a sad story with my old account, now, I'm slowly coming back to this forum but I'm really surprised with the recent change of theymos, 1 merit to become Jr.Member, maybe i will need some months or even more to achieve that, haha.

If you got permabanned, why is it you're now using a new account?

Why not, I was guilty and I was punished, and now I was innocent, there is no reason for me not to return, a new account is a source for a new life, you can not continue to judge me when I'm just a newbie

You are right, We should not fall to signature campaign just after reaching position to Jr member. We should learn from forum and when time will come we will start earning as well. I will also follow this and after completing this campaign, I will not join a campaign and will do some research and learn from this forum

Besides, I see many post with 7-8 lines, content is okay but there is no merit. What do you think?

Man content doesn't mean length!
You can't say that 8 lines deserve merit but 3 lines not... Going further 16 lines deserve 2 merit 24 deserve 3 etc.

Hmmm...
I have to check my master's thesis length in lines maybe I'll become a Legendary through one post!

Getting merit is very hard and makes you crazy, sometimes you feel like quitting and forget about cryptocurrency. But this is just the beginning of what we called hardworking, post a constructive and very helpful post and wait to someone who has a soft heart and give you what you deserve.

Earn merit i think this is not so hard. if you want to earn merit, first you should improve your english skill, have a knowledge about crypto then you need to some constrictive posts, and you will get merit. Try hard to improve yourself and merit will come to you!

Hi there,

I think i have a solution for you to get your old account back. All you have to do is...send a personal message to a mod/mods explaining your situation. Things you need point out are : your current account, your banned account, if you have any other accounts, reason for your ban and of course your IP address. I would recommend to use the following format:

Code:
[b]current account:[/b]
[b]banned account:[/b]
[b]reason for ban:[/b]
[b]additional accounts:[/b]
[b]IP address:[/b]

Mods review such applications twice a month, it may be your lucky day, who knows. Give it a try and good luck.

Based on several topics and posts that I read, it can be concluded that getting merit is actually easy if our goals contribute to problem solving on a topic, but most of our mindsets are only to get merit. It seems like that makes us trapped all this time.

So  much sudden interest in merit and quality post, i just hope deserving post ends up getting the merit that is due. But I trully think one should get his mind off merit and just be as real as can be on this platform, if merit comes along the way, fine, and if it doesnt, we do what we love to do and enjoy the community as best as we can. My one cent thoughts.

Give you a merit for a spam posts?  When you're posting good topic for a thread then don't expect for merits instead expect higher  ranks comments like "did you used any algorithms with this? " Just keep on posting of good quality post then sooner or later you'll rank up.
