Hello, we all know that the oil market is now in the downtrend, and the price of all top coins has fallen dramatically.
But the price of all the beloved etherium has decreased almost 10 times and many holders of this coin are experiencing this.
So, I have several reasons why ETH has fallen so much in price

• Development of EOS
  This project has the same goal as Ethereum - the creation on its platform of decentralized applications (DApps). The creators of the EOS promise a more advanced blockchain than Ethereum.
• Scam projects created on the Ethereum
  Everyone can create their own token on the platform. Thanks to this simplicity, the platform attracted, among other things, a large number of scammers wishing to earn easy money for the ICO and disappear with them. Also on the basis of Ethereum were created crypto-currencies under the Ponzi scheme (I personally participated in Bitconnect).
• Negative news
  Here everything is simple: open any news portal and read the news, almost all of them have a negative character
• Strict restriction on operations with a crypto currency in China
  Most recently crypto-trading was bannes in China. Of course, we all remember that in September last year China was banned from ICO's
  There is an opinion that thus the Chinese authorities want to cut off all foreign projects from the country, giving more chances to develop their NEO.
• Implementation of PoS Mining
  With the introduction of a new type of mining, the speed of the network will also increase. However, the community is very worried about the level of implementation of innovations. After all, for its short history, the crypto currencies have already seen quite a few unsuccessful forks. Not all investors believe that such a transition can be completed safely. After all, in such a scale, the transitions were never implemented and all possible errors can occur. If such assumptions prove to be correct, then the course of the Etherium may collapse on the background of negative news.

Thank you for short summary why Ethereum is falling. And I do not think that EOS is problem for Ethereum. EOS is full of bugs an you cant be sure that you will not lose your money here.

And do you know when exactly POS consensus will be implemented?

I feel like Ethereum is being manipulate by governments and bankers attempting to get in cheap.  I don't think any of your reasons are the real cause of the historic dump.  EOS is a large POS centralized coin which makes you pay for a wallet.  Somehow I really doubt that EOS is any issue whatsoever for Ethereum.  I also don think shit coin scams really reflects on Ethereum.  This is like saying fiat is bad because you can buy drugs with it.  Fiat has nothing to do with the drugs.  it's simply a medium of exchange. 

When you create an EOS wallet you have to pay someone to get "energy" to create a wallet. But after that EOS is free to use. And also EOS is more interesting than Ethereum. A lot of airdrops, speed of transactions and possibilities of use cases.

You forgot mentioning the whole market condition, it is the main reason, Ethereum was the only coin that didn't get affected by the huge market fall early this year, it was deemed to happen. Negative news always there especially from the early of this year, I really doubt that the negative news has any big impact.

And about EOS I totally disagree with you, EOS is far from being any threat to Ethereum.

I think technically there is no need to worry as eth has reached its support levels and it may take another dip before reversal but im quite positive that we will start seeing bulls in the coming weeks.

Probably this might be reason for sure i thing. When I am looking to invest in the ethereum i font consider value or volume as the main factor. Then reason side dominance of bottom value in all the coins and i see bticoin took the value completely from the marketplace.

ETH falls on every crash but when there is again little bump on bitcoin you may not see the same growth on eth. That's really worried thing.

This is all true, and when NEO is fully developed you will see the price pump as far as ethereum. Disagree about EOS though, that is just a hyped up centralised platform. NEO is already usable now, it will be the successor to the over-crowded ethereum

Eos blockchain is highly buggy, they are facing lots of problems and it is not a threat for ethereum now. Eos price crashed after mainnet launch.




You may be referring to ethereum casper

It's not running yet. It does not affect transaction time. It is also not a type of mining. There is no mining in pos .
Therefore, ethereum casper has not launched neither there was any new related to it, so it does not relate to the price.

When pos is running, it will probably have a positive effect on price, since coins will have one more financial use.

But, I think that really time matters. If Ethereum fail to deliver it as soon as possible. Other coins will be more used due to better technical solution and developers and users will not change the platform (coin) again.

There is no other project, as far as I know, of that magnitude that is willing to create a new Proof of Stake algorithm.

Other coins such as Peercoin, which already run on PoS, doesn't have all that transactions daily. Ethereum's network is not comparable to any other project, except bitcoin which is much higher.

I think the main fall of Etherum was all the faults of the fake smart contracts created on the platform
Because it has led to dumping of numerous Etherum especially by fake ico people

Which has caused negative news across the world about Etherum

lol i remember there are some people yesterday that created a thread about one of EOS service getting hacked caused by it has vulnerability that being discovered by the hackers. This is a buggy blockchain and it has horrible governance system. POS  will have used to discover the hardcap supply of ethereum and no more.
If POS will be running and it gives a lot of impact consider about the fact that it will make ethereum reach its max supply.

Now very good price for an investment in ethereum. I am bought by this cryptocurrency generally it good as means of payment. Good Coin

These are very good points about the subject matter. I don't want to seem pedantic, there were indeed quite a lot of Ponzi Scheme based on Ethereum netowrk, however, BitConnect was not created based on it, and it wasn't an ERC20 token (if that's what you were referring to); it was created on Scrypt Algorithm and had its own network.

I think we can factor the rise of EOS and the ICO based Ethereum to the downward spiral of ETH. EOS project raised a lot of Ethereum and I'm sure up to this day this still holds millions of Ethereum. Then they become competitor, thus its possible that they intentionally dumping their reserved Ethereuem to pull the price down.

I think you neglected to mention ICOs. They've been not as successful in the last year so ETH isn't used as often and there are also many ICOs from 2017 or before that need to sell their ETH in order to fund their development, these force down the price of ETH even further.

This is so true. It is really the cycle of the etc that is why it is down today and soon enough it will rise. There might be different factors but for me it is really the reason why it is down. Those are just sub factors or the observed factors. But the natural factor is mentioned above. We all just need to wait and see what will going to happen in the market.

I feel ethereum is manipulating by whales for buying cheap. that is the rule. they need to dump it and with that way they can buy more and more. ı dont think eos is a reason for that dump. i really dont trust eos and i dont feel good about eos. scam projects is not fault of ethereum. 

I think the popularity of it has created a bad situation for it. As it is used on ICOs they need to cash out to fund their projects (and scams) so there is a big pressure to sell it. EOS itself has no more threat to ETH than all the millions ETHs that were gathered and pushed back to market ;)
I'm sure it won't stay so of course as EOS will get over its "babysicknesses" and goes on his way

You have really itemised and explained well in a simple way why you think ethereum is falling. I truly agree with you,  however,  in addition to what you mention,  there are reports that some ico project that raises money in ethereum are selling of there ethereum for there project development.

I think these reasons have nothing to do with the price, you just posted some guesses. ETH fell because of the bear market as all altcoins and it will recover as soon as the bull market starts.

There are some coins that have increased despite the bull market so that's not the way to look at it. ETH has performed much worse than some coins and that relative difference is worth examining and trying to understand.. It may recover in a bull market but again may be outperformed by others.

Most of all I liked the "negative news" item. Anti-advertising now works much better than idle advertising. In fact, when the coin is permanently heard - there are those who think otherwise, regardless of the negative news.

According to me one of the main reason is users are increasing very fastly. and secondly main reason is brokers who affecting exchange.and other some reasons are market situations and ico potential and altcoins and etc.
