Title: SD HC card encryption
Post by: Request on October 30, 2011, 12:50:01 PM
Hello

I want to store my bitcoin wallet etc. data on my 32GB SD HC Card. But I can't find any truecrypt.org alike software which could encrypt SD cards. Is there any software available for that purpose? Thanks for any responses.

I was able to use truecrypt on my SD card, setting the card up with a separate partition.

You can also just use truecrypt in file container mode... makes it easier to backup the entire encrypted container.

Make a truecrypt volume on it the size of the SD Card.  I've done that with mine.  Make sure to have a backup of your wallet somewhere else though, because when the flash eventually fails (and it will), you'll find it hard to recover your files off of it.
