Post by: digitalcoins on September 21, 2018, 02:06:41 PM
If tomorrow government will prohibit you from  selling/buying bitcoins and doing anything with crypto, will you obey and do what other people say to you?

I'm ready to die for my rights. Of course, if I do, I won't even be able to wiggle any more. My rights will all be gone.

I am from India and the government has banned Bitcoin for businesses. They have instructed RBI that if anyone trade on Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency that the accounts will be canceled. But I still news Bitcoin for most of my pocket money and I want to use Bitcoin for business purpose in the future. I do expect the government to unban Bitcoin soon or else I have to use cryptocurrencies illegally(of course I will find some other ways there are numerous loopholes in the system already).

I am ready to give 1000 usd for people, which are ready to organize protests against it (In India for example). Will you be able to find some? 10, 20, 100 people?
One can print banners, make local community web site for protest etc.
Decentralization of finances makes people independent from authorities, it is much more difficult to control people in that case. So, people should not
It is normal, that there is no political activity in crypto community, because it is mostly concentrated on economics.
But that doesn t exist separately!!! Etither we stand altogether and fight together, or we are defeated separately!!!

I always thought that people start fighting for their rights, when they see that these rights are damaged, or may be damaged.
Personally, I had some issues with laws before, when I was living abroad, but indeed I just moved to my home country. Now, things start to become not so pleasant in my home country also. So, now, here, I have to fight for my rights and therefore I am starting this topic.
Just curious what the hell people are thinking otherwise?
Just sitting on their asses and waiting for their interests to be damaged?

The reason is that people don't know what to do, and haven't clearly known how to use Government against itself.

Google the "right to contract clause." This brings up pages that show Article I, section 10, clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution. The important part is: "No State shall ... impairing the Obligation of Contracts..." This means that we have the right to contract, and no State (the Federal Government is essentially a State) can bar us from making contracts.

The only thing required is that we state that our contract association is a private association. There are many laws and court cases that uphold this.

The Best Kept Secret of the Legal System

Take a look at how 13 States are using this and other things, to start making their own money that is not attached to the Federal Reserve Bank - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5035677.0

Everyday people can do this, as well, if they are careful to make their contracting together a formal private association.

So, political program:
1. Cryptocurrencies are legal means to buy/sell any services in any country worldwide, represent global borderless payment financial system, uniting people all over the world.
2. Tokens are legal securities, which grant ownership, purchase of certain services, or goods, voting rights of shareholders in certain organization, ownership results of the decentralized organization work

How does that sound?

How do you know it's a personal right? Just because you say so? Or does it run deeper? Explain, because if you don't, how are you ever going to explain to government people who suggest that it is a public right, and under their control?

Why do you want something to be legal? If it is legal, that means that government controls it. Rather, make it outside the government's authority to control = neither legal or illegal.

The state can prohibit the turnover of the crypto currency, but it is very difficult to establish control over this, so this will change the situation little.

It will be difficult to buy for fiat, but there are intermediaries.

When will we be able to just exist within the bitcoin cryptocurrency without cashing out.. I don't blame governments taxing the exit points of bitcoin into cash..

I thought the whole vision for bitcoin was to require services and goods for bitcoin, without having to convert to fiat.

bitdials for example sells designer watches for crypto.
bit cars same deal but for cars..
dell computers..

my point is.. don't exit into fiat and then you won't need to worry about IRS, TAX man, reporting etc.. because nobody knows what exactly you have.

Of course, propably if government would go beyond to what they should supposed to do. I think that bitcoin should not be regulated by the government if it just makes positive benefits. Government should focus to those problems needed to resolve.

Who determines if you are a citizen? Somebody might say, "Well, you were born there, weren't you?" You need to look up the definition of citizen with regard to people living on their own property. They aren't citizens unless they say that they are. Just "being born there" doesn't say where, and isn't the legal description of a citizen.

I'm a man. As long as you don't prove harm or damage, or direct threat, I have the right to do anything that I want. I have the right to contract with bitcoiners. I have the right to my property in every way. If you attempt to take my rights, government person or not, through some so-called law that you or others made up, you will face me in Federal District Court common law, where I am your accuser, and you are the accused, and the jury is the judge... and the magistrate is simple referee. You will be paying me the same amount you would have taken from me, plus court costs, and any additional damages.

That is what basic law states.

Right now I am more thinking about alter legal or panlegal.
What it means?
Two things.
1. Everyone with crypto/blockchain technology can raise funds for its own state and create such a state.
2. It is possible to create decentralized political-social movements, which will promote political agenda favourable for cryptocurrencies and blockchain community in different countries.

True. Financial decentralization and bringing back control overl finance to the people is first step. Next step is political system, which should be affected by cryptocurrencies in a decentralized way.

If our government prohibit and ban bitcoin here in our country , even if i want to fight my right , it will have no chance , i will just obey what our government will do . As a citizen of our country , i must do what is the government implemented for me to live freely and peacefully. I will not justify the government because as a normal citizen obeying the government is what people must do.

The question is, do you have the right to select which country is your country?

If you are a slave, obey the laws of the slavery you are in. Things will work out much better for you that way. But if you can gain your freedom, do so, right? Find a better country, where there is freedom.

well i cant even think how can i prove my right and fight on the government in they prevent what we do kn cryptocurrency investment or anyrhing we cant do nothing. The solution on this is find a prooper job and love without cryptocurrency. Or else save your money and go to the country that cryptocurrency is legalized to use.

We suggest to create Anti-SEC EMERGENCY Center!
Many ICOs are not fair with their investors. In that case some problems with government can be understandable. But in those cases, when majority of investors are supporting projects, SEC has nothing to do with it!

I can't see how there could possibly be any control of crypto.. its only thru consent we jump thru all the KYC and AML polices when exchanging and cashing out.. If people stopped cashing out into fiat.. bitcoin would be bigger than it already is.. on the macro scale I think people need to start offering their own skills, and trades between each other using the bitcoin as the agreed store of value, and STOP cashing out...

If we all did that there would be not rights we would have to fight for.. it would be something unstoppable, and our rights would be automatically implied...

STOP CASHING OUT! find ways to use bitcoin as a value to trade with.. next time your window cleaner or Gardner comes to your house wanting payment tell him you only have bitcoin... then talk about the whole 'hype' get more people on board!! :D

Apply crypto directly to fighting for your rights. How? Start an altcoin that has a written contract embedded right in its core, so that when anybody uses it, he is accepting membership in a private membership association (PMA). Why? Here's why.

Government has only one basic purpose. This is to protect the public. Government is restrict by law, court case, and Constitution/Amendments, and court interpretations, to not mess with people in their privacy. Sure, government people often overstep their bounds. And the reason they often win when they do this, is that people acting privately don't know how to fight them privately.

But when you have a PMA, written out, with all your ducks in a row, your privacy is the thing that is upheld by government, against anybody (especially law enforcement and government officials) who attempt to mess with you for what you do in private. In other words, you can become the government over formal government officials at times.

This doesn't mean that you can form a PMA that allows you to harm anybody or damage his property. PMAs can only be formed for good things, to build up the people.

Why form an altcoin-PMA? Because of the reason Bitcoin was made by Satoshi in the first place... to fight the injustices of the fiat money system.

Back in the infancy of our country, a strong economy that was controlled by almost dictatorial, non-government people was essential for making the nation strong. We don't need to be part of that club any longer. It is helping the greedy rich to ruin us. And we know what happens when we try to start up a public, alternate form of money. Government regulates us to shut it down, and even puts us in prison for doing so.

But it would be different for an altcoin-PMA. Why? Look at the strength that public Bitcoin has... and the altcoins that exist... even though none of them are PMA. Add PMA to an altcoin, and government will require itself to remain hands-off, except where there is proof of harm or damage done among members of the PMA. And the members, themselves, will have to petition government for judgment. Government won't be able to simply jump in on their own, because it is private.

Can you please recommend some exchange, maybe freelance exchange, where people sell their skills for crypto?

If tomorrow government will prohibit you from  selling/buying bitcoins and doing anything with crypto, will you obey and do what other people say to you?

Sure, but don't forget about black markets. That will not be gone even if the government prohibits their citizens to stop patronizing bitcoins. Besides, what are they gonna do with people who break the law? Confiscate (read: STEAL) their cryptos? Make us pay $$$ amount of cryptos?

I am ready to fight of course. If it has to do with my personal views, actions and as long it is not contrary to the constitution of the country. Why will someone then trample on my right?

We need our rights to do that if the government prohibit we can't stay silent. But we know the Government uses always Policing force to handle any situation if we go against the government. Mainly in our Country.

Is this one of our rights?
To tell government and other people that they have no right to dictate to us what our rights are?
