Title: Hosting / Co-location in Alberta, Canada Post by: GregM123 on September 21, 2018, 05:08:49 PM I am running a mining company with facilities connected directly to a power plant. We have partnered with a local power producer that is taking their natural gas and turning it into electricity. We have 2 operating facilities with about 3MW each with another 5MW facility near completion, and a couple more facilities it the planning stage.
We implemented a small pilot project to prove the viability of setting up mining at the site a few months ago and are now entertaining hosting for other parties. The benefits of hosting with us are:
Our sites are located in central Alberta at rural locations. Right now we are looking at an 8 unit / 10KW minimum. This will give you a 70Amp 208V circuit and a 12 outlet PDU that can be controlled remotely. Pricing will depend on the amount of space, power needed, etc. We can even provide a direct 600V feed to a sea can placed at our site. If you are interested, send me a PM and we will continue the conversation. I can send photos of the facility, etc. Greg. P.S. I know there are LOTS of cloud mining scams out there. Please don't accuse me of being a scammer yet. I am more than willing to share details with a trusted member of Bitcointalk. I can offer temporary access to out CCTV, location data, live conversations with the CEO of the power company, etc. For security reasons, I do not want to share the exact location of the facilities with the general public. I am however willing to do what is necessary to prove we are legitimate. Title: Re: Hosting / Co-location in Alberta, Canada Post by: GregM123 on September 24, 2018, 02:23:33 AM Bump...
Interesting discussions. We have conversations going with 3 parties locally that all want 1MW+. My goal here is to open it up to smaller miners as well. Greg Title: Re: Hosting / Co-location in Alberta, Canada Post by: AlecMe on January 15, 2020, 07:19:33 PM Are you still in business?
Have you opened up to smaller miners? If yes, what are your prices? PM/DM? |
