XRP has increased more than 2x in this week? Anyone know which is the main reason for XRP Case? Any big new was release or just a FOMO?

About XRP for a week on all channels trumpet. You are too lazy to look for information on the forum? why create a separate topic, if everything is already there?

it is just a pump, and a pump doesn't really need a reason. it only needs some deep pockets wanting to make profit from the said coin and these deep pockets or whales have always been in the market. it is not just XRP that got pumped, its just that since XRP is on top of the list you happened to notice it otherwise there are at least a dozen altcoins that are getting pumped, some of them pumped so much more than XRP every week.

Nothing new. This is just another partnership with a new major Bank, which means absolutely nothing and will not change anything in the future. It's just a cheap pump of this shitcoin that nobody wants for nothing. In the near future, I expect a smooth dump of this "coin".

Another fake news about bank partnership were helped to pump and dump XRP again. There is no mass adoption of XRP now and I don't beleive in that in future because banks don't need XRP! Maybe banks will use Ripple but not XRP coin so coins are useless!

xrp are a good pump coin so far I see and the third top coin on coinmarketcap. What I concerned about xrp is lots of xrp coin are still being holded by owner. billion of it. think more before buying it..anytime dump will coming.

You can trade it if you like but long term XRP has no future. The Banks are never going to adopt a payment system that they don't own and control. I have every belief that banks in the future will use a blockchain to transfer money but it will be something like SWIFT where the banks own the system. Even from simply a security stand point the banks would only use something that even if it got hacked would not benefit the hacker because the tokens are only traded on a closed system that only authorised financial institutions can access.

Recently published positive news on Ripple. I think against the background of the general growth and positive news this coin was able to show such a result. But I do not think that there will be no good correction)

Simply a pump and nothing more. This is pure manipulation and those who are buying at this prices I think they will cry soon enough about this bad decision to invest in to XRP when the owner has more than 50% of the total supply...xrp is not a crypto!

LOL, many people don't like XRP! I think this pump is neccessary for market! We saw bull market for a long time and it's a good signal for new investors! Hope we will see another pump like this! :D

What goes up, must come down. This is just a pump made my a hand of people regarding to the new tech of ripple but I don't bite this and I cannot invest into XRP not matter what. For those who are seeking to invest into XRP just make some deep searches about the coin.

There have been some news about xRapid and its adoption from the banks, there were also some news about Coil implementing an addon to seversal websites (like Wikiedia and youtube) that lets you donate to those websites using XRP.

What we saw was a big pump which actually had some events/news to back it up, it wasn't simply a pump and dump scheme, investors actually got interested in what XRP have to offer and decided to add some fresh capital into the XRP ecosystem. I wouldn't be surprised if there was also a bit FOMO buying from some people, you know, from those who "buy high and sell low".

well its not shocking for me, XRP is one of the best project Ive seen its a trustworthy company to invest with.

I have some XRP on me and I still dont trade it because this is one of the altcoins I trusted and Im sure that I will get a good profit with it.

It is normal in the market to get pump and XRP is no extraordinary coin that was pumped together with other tokens and altcoins. It is just that XRP is on top 50 in the coin market cap so it is easily noticeable.

It's more of a normal pump for XRP but somehow much higher percentage growth than the rest of the other cryptocurrencies. Investors of XRP are now very excited to see the growth in the coming months as I think this will further grow. I also think that it is still not late to invest in XRP as this coin is a potential coin for investment that investors should consider in their investment list.

Many just get too curious about a sudden fluctuation of the XRP but this is just normal in the market of Cryptocurrency we can always see it in other coins and even in bitcoin, there is no need for a reason or an explanation about the sudden increase or sudden decrease of the value for a certain coins, This really happens when the coins get a pump and dump and because all are simply scalable, In these kinds of market we should always be calm because this market gets risky every time if you are not well informed and equipt on what can actually happen for the value of a certain coin.

Ripple as a company has some sucessful partnerships, but I do not understand why XRP token is booming. Ripple and XRP two diffrent things.
If a blockchain technology is interesting for some big company, Bitcoin will not rise, right?

I think you should purchase it fast that way you could possibly get a good profit out of it. After that you just wait until you see some profit if you sell them.
And remember don't get greedy, just sell your coins when you see some profit.

Just a pump and fomo'ed and after that it will goes down. Ripple is a centralized cryptocurrency owned by an individual or a group that manipulates its value. Just ride the wave and back to the king "BITCOIN".

Bullrun maybe? the start of it we hope. Stellar now is doing the skyrocket movement. We should trade and just ride the wave until it's still on but don't be hyped if you don't know what you are doing and no bias about it.

XRP is a strongly shilled shitcoin, and I think this is a very bad thing for entire crypto space. Following blindly and do not ask questions about the technology behind. I hope this will not affect Bitcoin.

There are no good reasons for the growth of this coin. I think like most of the participants in this discussion, it's just a coin pump. Apparently someone is very good looks like "." and therefore the price increased. Soon the price will fall, I'm sure.

Well, Many huge banks have joined RippleNet, It's mean they really interest in Technology of Ripple. RippleNet has grown to more than 100 financial institutions and continues to expand steadily each month. RippleNet has also recently expanded its reach to over 40 countries and six continents. We can't predict future, but we can trust what we believe in. I didn't invest in XRP but now i'm considering about that.

All I can say is for others to be careful. It is better to sell than buy for now because this could be a trap for new investors. If I were you, I will sell my XRP if I don't have any plans on hodling for a long term. The only reason I will hodl XRP is because of the next bull run, if you are not aiming for that, sell. I read that ripple rose a couple of days ago in price, as well as in the level of capitalization, shifting even ethereum by several hours from second place in the level of capitalization in the CoinMarketCap table, because it is going to introduce some improvement called xRapid. What kind of improvement is still unclear, but it will facilitate the further rapid introduction of this coin into banks and financial structures.

I think they have improved their services and it results to more demand. Other coins just focus on investment and coin value without improving the product. I think that is the difference between a top tier coin compared to the other coins  at the lower ranking. I never have a good timing with coins pumping up. I already sold my XRP last month. 

As an option, ripple prices could be affected by news about partnership with the American PNC bank and the forthcoming full-scale launch of the xRapid product.

while other important news is that xRapid will be released in the future, making XRP stronger

Ripple is extremely under valued at the moment. I know a lot of people that hate on Ripple, but xrp is one of the most solid projects out there who major banks behind it. The pump is just the beginning. Looking forward to even higher highs this year.

Don't talk a bullshit about that the pump has already happened and you can't do anything. Don't fool others to invest in that coin right now because if there will be a huge dump and then they have been putting their money on the big risk. Whales who has bought ripple will try to accumulate a lot of profit in the future.

I got on board with XRP at 19c and set some aside for the future no matter what changes in the price, it was a small investment. I have at other times used a trading pool I buy them and sell the again when I have made a good profit, the past few weeks was a great example buy at 25c sell at 68c. Just waiting to see how then next few weeks pan out for another possible buying opportunity. Good yardstick with crypto is anything that rises fast will always undergo a reversal soon after.

A very good coin for day trading. Now there is a fairly intense movement, on which you can make good money covering the losses. But I do not consider it to be in the future as one of the ideal options.

Don't be so affected in this condition because of the many pitfalls that will occur. just wait for the actual rise in waiting to happen because it will be a lot of results on the pump from a lot of profit and expects little happened in this period. many are too happy in this tiny pump whereas the fall in price is greater than the increase that occurred.

I saw the xrp pump too and I was amazed. It painer me that I did not buy at the lowest dip price. It seems it was a big news that caused the pump. I don't like to FOMO so I won't be buying now at pump

Very major update came out, so XRP flew to heaven. I think the growth is over, but we are waiting for the correction. In General, as if we didn't like XRP cryptocurrency shows excellent movement in the market.

There was many announced partnerships with banks and other some big companies in previous week. And I think it is not the end. There will be another wave of pumping. It is very good for crypto-holders.

It was unpredictable and everybody now tries to find the cause of this pump. News, partnerships, xRapid etc. Volatility is so attractive and dangerous at the same time.

I have not seen any news to rationally support the recent pump, if it is based on rumour then it is a pump. I think people need to realise that some of these base currencies on exchanges apart from Tether, Bitcoin and Ethereum no one actually use them. I have seen some exchanges remove BCash as their base currency because people are not using it

I'm not so surprised to be quite honest. I think that lots and lots of peple are beginning to see the light in this coin, and have deciced to invest in it, hence the major pump that we have been witnessing with the coin. I'm aware that this coin experienced a pump some moths back, an had a lot of its investors and non investors eager to see how it does in the market.

Yes there was news regarding the launch of Xrapid services which helped XRP to reach 2x within the week and this pump was natural based on the news. .Now the ripple is looking more active on their development, chances are always be there ripple will dethroned ETH permanently.

It's a flashback to see how XRP dethroned ETH on the second place just like what happened last January. I believe that it is just a pump and dump scheme to taunt ETH for a price hike and it really did as ETH reclaimed its position as a response while boosting its market cap and price.
