The Cryptocurrency Market has been Experiencing Constant Bearish Movement for some months now which has brought forth so many questions on where the Market is headed, Crypto performances of 2017 in Price have been much better than 2018.

XRP Recently surged Over 80% And also surprisingly briefly dethroned Ethereum in Market cap and assumed the 2nd Position in Top Coins before settling back to at 50% and Returning back to it’s 3rd spot, This Recent surge has been linked to the bill clinton’s keynote and More greater use cases of the Ripple Products.

Do you honestly believed that XRP can dethroned Ethereum or even challenge Bitcoin as the king of crypto? Personally though, I don't think its enough to go past Ethereum as the second best coin. As far as I know consensus is, its just a decentralized coins and used for banking purposes only. But I believed it has a bright future though, but not enough thrust to put it on the 2 or even the number 1 position.

No way it can dethrone Bitcoin. That's simply not going to happen. Why? Because XRP is nowhere near BTC. It is questionable if you can even call it a cryptocurrency. It is a centralized system controlled by a company. You can't mine XRP. If the company decided to stop tomorrow, no one could do anything about it.

The marketcap is irrelevant. What's important is the blockchain behind the currency. Bitcoin has by far the most superior blockchain and consensus rules. ETH has a flawed blockchain which they are currently trying to fix. XRP has a centralized blockchain, so you might say it is a classical database controlled by one entity.
