We should not attach Ponzi scheme or referral based program to cryptocurrency, if they guaranty income or profit, that is the first sign that it is a scam, this kind of program do not offer platform and it's always been the early birds get paid , so if you are late don't expect to get paid.

It looks like that the Ponzi scheme is still active and is paying. I have trouble getting into their website in my desktop browsers so I tried it with my mobile phone and it went through.

Look through some of the tx ids of the payouts and all that I have seen are legit and confirmed transactions so this just shows that the website is still paying.

To all readers of this post I am not encouraging you to invest, this is an HYIP like site with no proper business they are just paying you out with the money from the new members. By that time they run out of members joining in you won't be getting anymore payments. Stay away from this ponzi scheme.

Seems that website still live and there is few real time transaction history. But we don't know these address won by whom. Who know transactions happening between them, because it's not very easy task create huge ETH address. So I would like to suggest stay away from them. Highly possible that it would be turn into scam.

Here's some more information about it on Etherscam https://etherscamdb.info/domain/ethonline.io. It seems it's been blocked by Metamask but it is still active on Google safe browsing. Good thing I have Metamask extension on my browser somehow it helps to blocked the sites updated on etherscam.

Much as some people have been scammed,  I don't think the transactions are that big. What we are seeing are  just fake transactions pulled off from the Ethereum live transaction data. They just pull transactions that are sending a given amount of ETH and publish it on their web page to make it look like they are actually paying.

For example i just picked up one of the transactions IDs they claim is a payment(some many i have checked if not all are fake) https://etherscan.io/tx/0x0653392053da0d99feda7e54ce0e1d5201f38fd1401302a51d860f223cd3c3b1

And guess where the ETH is being sent to?
To an IDEX contact address  ;D ;D

Seriously, why would someone send a payment ETH to an IDEX contract address and how would they do it without having full access to ETH Online main wallet's private keys

Also, ETHOnline website is a direct copy paste of BTCOnline which is also a ponzi scheme deploying the same tricks. I guess it's the same scammer operating all of them

Code:
https://btconline.io

They even have the same addresses which are even fake

Sadly still scammer website is active and seems still scamming people. Most important part is they have used automated script to show fake investments. So there show someone invested 1 ETH and so on. Guys don't put your money this kind of project (just not this scheme, all similar scheme is a scam trap). But fortunately some greedy people still now falling on trap.
