It is a great mistake I think. But Cardano is very interesting alternative cryptocurrency in the deal with its price. Experts say Cardano will be in the top of cryptomarket in the future at all and now it is a good opportunity to make the foundation for the future work with it. The team is very serious about their project. It didn't simply release whitepaper and tried to stick with it, but decided to receive independent reviews from experts. The platform is rather nice, with POS system as well as slot leader [pseudo]mining. They are trying to solve transaction price and speed problems and I think they can succeed in the future when the market gets bullish again. So many times i have seen people like you said that ADA will compete with ether. the fact has told us about the truth that ADA can't even compete with EOS.
