Title: Advice to bounty hunters
Post by: Anonymous300 on September 25, 2018, 07:31:26 PM
So many post has been made and is still been made about the precious merit.  Well I don't think getting merit should be the primary aim. Let's be honest most people did not care about attain any merit because there where free to partake in bounty hunting not ontill the new rule came in play and turned on the search of the precious merit.
Well for bounty hunters who are so interested in earning rather than learning or making productive post.  Rather than pilling up the forum with shut post you can just engage in other campaign other than signature. You can engage in social media campaign that requires you to share, like and retweet and so on well this is an easier way for the lazy ones. And it WI help you earn and help us here in the forum to learn

I would merit you but you joined in late Aug. but no posts prior to the new rules! Are you a bounty spammer that is kinda smart enough to delete your spam? I don't know anyone that would join to only read for a month!

WITHOUT ASKING A QUESTION!

You only have one merit which can be bought or gifted well I would strive to be a better person here even though am new I will get what I deserve I think this forum is fair.  Well thanks for your intentions to give me merit even though you have only one

But you never answered my question! Why would you deserve a merit? your past post shows some helpful info to some users, problem is (IMO) you have erased a lot of spamming post. Users that are giving merit look for these indicators. So my questions is what happen to "Hillary's lost email" aka post prior to new rules?

I have erased nothing pls you can ask the moderator for my post I know btt has a back up system.  And about Hillarys lost email that is a corruption case. My intentions here are clear and I don't think it's right doubting me

How do you think merits are earned? I'll give you a hint, having no post prior to new rules but joining a forum a month prior to said rules change indicates something does not add up.

I know the day I signed up I posted something, and many other users would agree I'm sure.

But there is a report link at the bottom of my posting if you think I'm being malicious toward you!

Good luck

<...>
This thread has some inherent habits of building nested quoted posts .... reminds me of some patterns ...

I checked the OP on google, waybackmachine and archive.is, but i couldn’t come up with any deleted stuff. Modlog (https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php) goes back a week I think, and no deleted posts there.

Aside from that, I took nearly four weeks to place my first post after joining the forum. Not everyone pounces to post.

Then I will stand corrected if that's the case

Yes I must agree with this post other than signature there are other campaigns like social media as you rightful said that really don't require much of post. I would have also advised content writing but this would be also difficult and most might plagiarise. You can't come here think only about your bounty project and create unhealthy post any more

Being able to join in bounties is a privilege. Forum moderators do their jobs to give a quality service by eliminating/ minimizing useless threads or posts.

Just think of it this way, if your applying for corporate job and have no knowledge about it, why would the hire you?

Read and gain knowledge so you could have good posts, earn merit and be able to join bounties. That's the best we can do to contribute in the forum.

Funny how people act holy when they're truly the opposite. Where will you get the Smerit to merit the poster? You only have one merit that means you only have 0.5 sMerit not upto a spendable Smerit so is either you have double accounts (which against the forum rules) or just writing to increase your post count (also against the forum rule).
You can't give what you don't have.
