Title: Can merits be awarded in threads that aren't for public view?
Post by: jackg on September 25, 2018, 10:20:36 PM
I was wondering what would happen if a moderator gave another moderator merit in the staff board how would it look?

I'm not sure the subject would be displayed as someone like Hilariousandco coming up with a solution to "cookie vulnerability by use of iframes on other sites" (for example if that existed) clearly that would arise speculation and there would be people either moaning or trying to sus the vulnerability to make a few quick bucks...

I'm not sure if this has been addressed elsewhere but what actually would happen (I know deleted post has the "deleted post" sign on it)...

(Disclaimer: I do not know if iframes do cause an issue for other sites to gain access to cookies however I can see everything you all do on your computer screens and in your minds and will smite anyone who attempts to use such vulnerabilities for malicious intentions ;D you have been warned).

It shows as deleted/ignored/off-limits on a user page and doesn't show at all on the stat pages which list posts.

Is there really something about that ?, I think forum administrators will publicly answer that for all members. Because merit with them is easily received.

Just as it happens when you ignore a board.
Ignore a board where you earn some merits and check your merit page. Will see "deleted/ignored/off-limits"

Ah right cheers both!
I haven't seen one of those in quite a while...
