Title: Why would a moderator delete these old posts?
Post by: CryptoSparks on September 26, 2018, 09:30:03 AM
So this morning i woke up with 3 pms that some of my old post were deleted my moderator.
Now i admit these are not the best posts i've ever made, but do they really deserve to be deleted?
These are all from an ANN thread so is not off topic.

Is it because they're short? I don't think the first comment is so short that needs to be deleted.
I really don't get it.

September the 11th is old? They're pointless posts that are against the rules, but they were probably deleted because someone went through the thread and reported them so a mod just handled the reports.

"Great project from a strong team and clever idea". That looks just like a bot post. Completely pointless.

Moderators are just like that, without any reason not delete the message. Perhaps someone complained about your messages. They are of low quality and not very good for the forum.
"Cool. "" great." "keep going, buddy." those are all low-quality messages. Try to share your thoughts or tips on the forum. Evaluate the first message. And then you will have a complete order.

What are you guys saying??
I can't start a message with "Great project" only because tons of bots spam posts with ONLY those 2 words?  ;D

How can a legit post that goes on talking about specific tech details can be compared to useless bots spams for bounties?

The decision to build the platform on the Stellar blockchain will be very important in my opinion.
Ethereum is just way to expensive and slow.

I already reported similar comments on a specific ann thread that is said over and over again,  announcement thread is also an inquiry thread why going to acknowldge the goodness of the project if you can directly contact the manager or the developers to say thank you.

Picture #1, this kind of post are my favorite comments to be reported and most of then are handled within 30 minites by mods.

If you have bad post in your history it pays not to post in Meta.

It is where the group of members hang out that report rule-breakers, account buyer/sellers, merit abusers, get entire spam farms banned and look for scammers.

Someone will look into your post history if you post here.

Someone will look into your post history if you post here.

Turns out he's made some pretty dubious claims about his betting system:

60% of 90 events are wins = 54 WINS & 36 LOSS =  18units of profit * stake = 18*30= 540$ ->  first month PROFIT

That is profit worth more than half bankroll! Imagine x1.5 your bank roll every month! With a 1k$ B.R you could reach 130K$ in one year and 17 MLN $ in 2 years.
This is simply math, the system only needs a 60% winning rate.

Considering that with this system you will bet in average 3 games per day, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to go bankrupt.
If you are the unluckiest person in the world and manage to loose all 21 games in a row,
the following week you will still have 33 bets available because you update your 3% stake according to the new bankroll.
Isn’t that great? No fear of loss.

Lastly, i bet with this system since years, i've shaped the rules based on experience. I can guarantee you that long term, if you strictly follow each rule, you will gain massive profits.

I've been using this system in the last 3 years with great success

Strange that he claims the system will make you $17 million in two years, and he's been using this system for 3 years. Using his calculations, 3 years is enough to make $2.18 BILLION. With so much guaranteed income with no fear of loss (his words), I find it strange that he's still wasting his time doing Italian translations for trash ICOs.

You could if the rest of your post actually provided something new. You didn't even elaborate why you think its going to be good. Just "my opinion". That's contentless, and just spam, and will continue to be removed.

There's nothing technical about that post. You mention that its built on the Stellar Blockchain? Yeah, but that's public information, and isn't really pointing out something technical. Just something that its built on, and everyone that invests in it knows.

It was already stated on the notice that your post was deleted because it might be off topic or in short it is a spam, and it should be deleted if it is not helpful at all. If you will be considerate about it, you'll just ignore that your post was deleted and stop complaining because you know for yourself what is wrong. It is clearly a spam post for me what you have posted, and if I'm not mistaken, posting in ANN thread is prohibited now to avoid spamming(correct me if I'm wrong) that is why there is no more ANN thread in every Altcoin Bounties.

And the number of character per post is not really a big deal at all, if you can deliver your opinion every well in just one sentence then it is already a good quality post, and a very long post could be a spam post depends on its content. Maybe you were just confused for now since you are not yet quite familiar about how this forum works. Anyways, you'll get used to it :)

It's because you act like a spambie, "great project" "nice project" posts to bump a thread, really not worth to delete? Probably the moderator include the first post because even it is elongated in some ways to make it constructive still  same as "great project" in sense.

So this is the worst you could find looking in my posts?  ;D  ;D like i said, i've nothing to hide, and don't really know what your point is.. that is basic math. If you would have read the full guide is all written clearly. But i guess you have no idea what a MM is and how statistics works.

Nope i'm not confused on how the forum works. And you are wrong, you're allowed to post in the ANNs. What is not allowed is incentivized ann posting with bounties, which is not my case since i'm not in the project bounty.

There is no such thing as a betting system with guaranteed returns. You are either naive or lying.

Oh my god, can you imagine!? It would be glorious.

You're missing the point. Its not the fact that you gave an opinion; Its the lack of substance behind it. Sure, if you actually gave a unique reason which hasn't been repeated half a million times already it would be likely fine. The fact that you made a generic response like all the other spam comments is why it got deleted.

Maybe you should read carefully,  long term is the key you're missing. You can't have anything guaranteed short term because you're still playing with odds.. but long therm with odds in your favor ? that is where the guarantee profit is. that's how bookmakers earn their money btw. Do you have any idea how many professional bettors are there? I don't want to go off-topic here and get my messages deleted, but if you want proof  just check the website that is linked in my guide, there are tons of system based on similar techniques whit years of databases . MM is the key.

Yeah, that's just an example. I have no idea when it was posted. However, as long as you are posting with a purpose, and providing decent content there shouldn't be any future problems! :)
