Greed is the root of downfall. Most of those that have left the crypto space today or that have lost hope in cryptocurrency were mostly driven by greed.
This happens sometimes when some are trading, they would see profit, but will decide not to pick it. Instead, they will be looking for 1000% profit. Little do they no that no matter how a coin increases in price, it will still retrace.
Pick your profit with all modesty and allow others to take it up from there. Do not be greedy to feel you can take all the profit for that trade.

I think you have gotten it wrong, in crypto currency there is need to be greedy

BUT

You need to be greedy at crucial points
For instance, be greedy to buy several coins dumped and Hodl for your profit
Be greedy to buy the news and sell the rumours

Not only in cryptocurrency but also in every step, every option of our life, we should not be greedy. It is harmful to us, our family and the social life. Now, when it comes to cryptocurrency, it can take all our investment just for a single mistake like investing in high ROI (mostly unrealistic) projects like most scam masternode offers. We cannot become a millionaire overnight, remember this and work hard.

yes after every good day we see some bad ones but it does jot mean that we should not enjoy time of happiness

Do not encourage others, most especially newbies to be greedy in whatever they do. It is the law of nature. Greed has it repercussions. If care is not taken, with greed, you can loose all your investments. I have a typical example of such.
A friend of mine invested into crypto and was caught by fomo. He saw the coin increasing in price and he thought it would continue. I advised him to sell, but he refused and said it might increase more. Just in few hours time, it started plunging. Instead of selling, again he said, it might rise back. It is quite painful today that he lost what he invested into the coin, because it was later abandoned by the developer and it became so useless.

that is true when you always want more you will never be satisfied with what you have now so i think that ypu should be modest

i think i catch what you wanted to say and we need to be ambitious at soem crucial points but not greedy in a bad meaning

i agree with that. but here in crypto, you are surrounded by greedy persons. it's all about the money that they can get. or maybe, it's okay to be greedy but you should know how to take care of your sh*t. if you will not take care of your own business, no one will.

Greed will always leave you dissatisfied because you'll never be able to get everything you desire. Greed never allows you to think you have enough; it always destroys you by making you strive ever harder for more. But fear is a far more likely candidate to be the root of all evil...

You are right greed have left so many investors in loses today and many of which are no longer in the crypto space today, greed is what most time leads to fraud and scam which has so much negative impact on the image of crypto today. Life is not always as a win win game we have to learn to also take modesty as an option even duo we have the chance to push forward, always know when to strike no Matter how low your interest is.

So many greedy especially these whales are pumpin the market anytime, becomes a greedy person in trading will give bring you in the worst situation when you have been getting trapped by the market and you can'e leave it. And then this has become the main thing.

Greed will definitely lead to fall down.

Too much greed will push to expect higher price and will forget you to take profits. And by that time, when the prices are high you will never take profit because you are not comfortable so tendency you will not sell. As time passes, you will see the price goes down and you will regret that you never sold.

Whoever is greedy can easily be trapped into huge loss if care is not taken. I am not saying you should not desire to have a good project, but coins are always different in their nature. Even at that, greed can cost a lot.
Imagine what happened during the last bullrun. So many people were rushing to buy more. Those already had huge profit thought the growth would continue, but today, it is a different story.

It always happens to me, everytime i made a profit in trading, and it happens that i loss a lot because of greed, a greed to invest more to the point where i can lose my capital just for the thinking of earning the high profits, but this time, i could be more wiser, as the markets keeps on falling. Greed should be controlled based on my experience.

It's not appropriate if we're going to be greed in most certain cases with cryptocurrency. If you want to succeed, you should have to be more courageous on every aspects of life specially when you're trading at higher risk. Be brave and face the challenges, because as you desire for much higher or quicker profit you'll turn out greedy.

Greed i your worst enemy when it comes to making money (specially making money online).
I've been through that in Forex & crypto & i know the feeling.

if you don't make sharp & straight forward goals / take Profit & stick with it no matter what the temptation, sooner or later you'll be out with 0 profits.

Having strict Take Profit goal is the best you can do to have real profits, rinse & repeat.

The cryptocurrencies market is very unpredictable. So, it is better to not always trust this market. Everything is not going to go as we want. But Given this unpredictably, greed can be sometimes good. If some one had bought some bitcoins in 2010 and was greedy and had not sold the bitcoins till 2017, would become a really rich person.

Yes, greed is sometimes very destructive. Sometimes I meet different stories of people that they regret that they did not sell the coin in time and now it costs very little. I believe that if the price suits you, it is better to sell. You can always buy this coin again when the price drops. Even if after the sale the price will continue to increase, you do not need to regret it. It's better than if you lost money because of greed.

Here is the problem, mainly people see cryptocurrency volatility as their train to get rich quick. The perspective that mainstream has need to be changed to purely usage the benefit and advantage the core usage of cryptocurrencies rather only using it as an investment asset.

usually those who are difficult to control mentally to not be greedy are those who often play with betting. (sorry if it is offensive), but all the friends in one of the telegram groups that I know are right. they feel the money they spend is not valuable so they will use all of that, if the profit continues, if they lose then let's deposit again.

We cannot blame them, they are really making huge profit because of that.
I know mass adoption will going to happen in the future but greedy people will always find a way to make easy money and if people keep on staying in this market without enough knowledge, for sure they will fall in this trap and lose their money later on.

Greed it a common phenomenon among the crypto traders, must traders do sell unless they see 50% profit upwards, which is very wrong.
10% profit is huge, I don't see why one will be greedy. Take the little profits you can get your hands on and stop expecting the unexpectable

We can not say that they are greedy or not. Because it's a boundary between belief and scared. They believe in their analysis and they hold and wait for that moment, if they succeed, everyone call him a good trader. But if he fail, you call him greedy man.

You predict that will reach $20000/token but you sell at $5000/token and it really reach $20000. You think you are not greedy but everyone will think you scare.

So don't judge anyone.

Greedy investors will keep coming and coming, they see crypto as a gate way to fortune but instead, it will be the cause of their downfall. They underestimate crypto and the only thing that's in their minds is the profit they will earn. Most of them doesn't know what their engaging and they are also the easiest prey of the scammers.

yes people are happy with 5% years in banks but unhappy with 10% in weekly profit. crypto always do not give you 10000% profits. but you can always catch 10% to 20% profits easily and increase your holdings value. then wait for your holdings to increase 5X to 10X and then sell it
