Title: [Help] What if I don't have any collateral?
Post by: CrackedLogic on March 06, 2014, 03:11:22 PM
Well say I needed a loan, For about 0.05btc to about 1 btc.

And I didn't have any collateral to offer, How would I get around it?

Who would loan to me?

How would you loan it to me?

I do not want a loan, I just what to know what would happen or what you would do.

You will have to ask for a smallish loan. Less than 0.1 and state a clear easing for it.

It depends on:

  • Your user history
  • Means of earning Bitcoin
  • Reason for wanting loan
  • Proof of means [Mining rigs for BTC, services, etc]

Even then though, I personally wouldn't be comfortable lending out more than .1BTC to a user who didn't rank highly in the above regards without collateral.   :)

Well if you need a loan (as in cannot live without it), and not just want one, with no collateral you're screwed.  Might as well end your life.   :-\

Unless you have an immaculate history of trades and trust your unlikely to get a loan without a collateral. There have simply been far too many scams to make it worthwhile for most lenders to take the risk.
