In the same way that women got the vote in the 20s while they did not have the right to vote before we can get back our government. This will stop the extreme favors that lobbying (read: bribing) companies get from politicians that they "helped" got elected (read: bribed). Money is not free speech when you give it to a politician so he can offer you 10 fold benefits by relaxing regulations or subsidizing your business or challenging net-neutrality or sending people to jail so that the private prisons can make bucketloads of money (which they get from the government. There are some seriously fucked up laws that have been passed thanks to such terrible tactics. Are you, the people of the Bitcoin community going to help in this fight? |
