Title: HELP. Jr member to a newbie.
Post by: Asadali569 on September 29, 2018, 10:24:09 AM
Hello admins,

As you can see my activity is more than 30, which is required for anyone to become a junior member. However, it has become newbie rank. I don’t understand why this has happened. Has the ranking system changed? do I need to appeal for my rank? What do I do?

Kindly, someone help me out with this query. I don’t know what to do.

Thanks.

I don’t know what to do.
Create good posts and increase your reading habit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.0).
Good luck  :)

I think you don’t get that I became a junior member and then I became a newbie again. Why? I’ve never come across this happening to anyone.

The forum rules have changed, for you to become a Jr.Member you need at least 1 merit, if you were a Jr. Member before and you didn't have any merit you would be demoted to newbie regardless of your activity. And for you to get one merit you need to create helpful/good/quality post to earn at least 1 merit to rank up to Jr member and beyond.

Learn more about the new development  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.0)

There is a little less noise in the forum right now.

Bitcointalk rules have been changed recently. Now, Newbies need a merit to be a Jr. Member. If you want to know more about a recent update about bitcointalk ranks, please read this official Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5030366.msg45810047#msg45810047) official thread.

You can't get jr.member if you not change your behavior. Search and read before create a post..This is a forum so you can read many many post regarding new ranking system and rules if you just check top 5-10 title on this thread.

Yes, we have new rules on the forum, at least 1 merit to become junior member... So if it's hard for you to get 1 merit, will be impossible for you to become legendary in the long run.

Bring some quality posts and merits will come by themselves.

Theymos want to improve forum's quality so if you can't earn any single merit, maybe this forum is no longer for you anymore.
By seeing that your obsession for looking higher rank means that you're old player that want to farming bounty

It's not impossible to earn merit, if you did read the thread about the forum members that start from newbie with 0 merit to 100 merit. Search for it then read each forum members post that will help you along the way. You're lucky enough that jr. member required only 1 merit for you to rank jr. member, if you can't earn a single one then you're clearly a shitposter/doesn't want to contribute.
