Title: cudaminer - cudaError 30 - ubuntu server 12.04 Post by: _UsUrPeR_ on March 06, 2014, 04:48:34 PM Hey all, I am having a helluva time getting this server to be stable. I keep getting cudaError 30 from my cards after they run for a while. I have tried stepping them down a bit, thinking there may be problems with the cards themselves, but no dice. Can someone indicate to me what causes cudaError 30?
The following is my server build: 1x Sempron 145 - single core, 45W processor. 1x MSI 970A-G43 - Motherboard 4GB RAM 16GB Flash drive 1x Corsair HX750 2x 1x to 16x PCI-E powered risers 2x Nvidia GTX 460 SE 1x Nvidia GTX 570 OS: Ubuntu 12.04 x64 Server Cuda version 5.5.22 Cudaminer version - Feb 28, 2014 release One thing I recently discovered: cuda needs to be run with the -H 2 option, or the processor will be bogged down, causing a soft CPU failure of the server. |
