Not everyone's wish can come true though. Believe it or not Santa Claus only live in books.

I'm almost sure it will take more than 2 years for the next bullrun that we are expecting. Getting rich isn't that easy for anyone who can afford to invest in crypto, you will have to wait or maybe even dump instead.

Just like you am also hoping, wishing and praying that cryptocurrency as the whole will have some rise this month even if not really a big bull run...which can be the basis for the big jump before the end of the year and into the first quarter of 2019. But we have to admit that it can be long uphill battle as there is now a big reluctance on the part of many investors to pour money into the market because of fear of losing it. The rosy sentiment is not yet there but we know that in this market anything can happen in almost an instant so let's continue on hoping...who knows what can be?

Certainly many hope for the bear market in October. The market is green, the coins have more value and are stronger, surely welcome this situation. But we have to stay motivated and ready for everything that happened in October, hopefully better than September.

It's starting to recover and moves up a little by little. At this moment, we shouldn't expect more than what the market can do so it won't disappoint us if ever it can't stretch to that expectation that we are setting on our minds. I hope that it will go better on October.   :-\

Everybody are hoping that this is a great month this year because this is the same month that the price started to show some good movement  last year but I don't expect it to reach the 20k level but that would be a big miracle if that happens so holders are now glued on the price to check if there is improvement.

I think that October is still early for a price jump. I believe that growth will be closer to winter. And now the price will be slightly restored.

obviously that is the hope of everyone, especially the cryptocurrency community that next month or October will be a good month for the crypto market. but if you look at the annual pattern of the crypto market, it is still too early to expect a significant price increase in October, more realistic we can hope at the end of the year. if we want strong capitalization from new investors, we must together convince them that the crypto industry is a convincing place for investment. but not in a hurry, we still have to explain the risks that can be generated and must be accepted by every investor, so that those who join the crypto market are not just investors, but investors who have intellectual intelligence.

I hope you are right, many analysts have also called bottom for the market in september, technically charts are also confirming this so lets stay positive that from october we will be seeing a nice uptrend in the market.

i also hope but don't believe. It seems for me that we can expect a long flat for maybe 1-2 years, so bullrun can begin in october but in 2019 or 2020.

Why would new investors join the market when prices stagnate at the current levels? Unless they're going for a long-term strategy, there's nothing that incentives new investors to jump in into the market.

And I honestly don't expect much in October. I think we'll see the pattern we've been seeing for the past few months, an accumulation period that could go on for a very long time until there's something in the market (news or event) that could trigger an upward movement...sounds bearish, but it it is what it is.

Yes, I agree with you. we all hope that good things can happen. things that happened in 2017 hopefully will happen again, but I don't know for sure what kind of moments that make all the coins increase dramatically as in 2017.

It might be the start of the new chapter in btc this october, we all want to forget what happened this past few months of 2018 where we got wrecked by dumpers and whales. Maybe BTC won't end this year with a new ATH or even equally to it but I think that BTC will surely have a big rally before the year ends.

I am fine with stability. If BTC hangs out at this level for awhile longer I am very much happy with that. In crypto land, the best profits are from extreme bull-runs and are very dependent upon the bags you currently hold.

Right now is accumulation time - If the price decides to moon now... I might be able to afford a lambo and that's it. But if the stability continues and my bags get larger and larger before the pump, then I can retire and buy the playboy mansion furnished with a full-house of bunnies.

Last year the market surged from october and had some pre rise movement in september and we saw similar moves on september and let's hope another bull on october. But it even can be similar scenario as 2014 which had no rise at all until 2015.

Of course everyone really wanted to see that the bear season will be over and hope that the bulls regain the control of this market starting October. I'm sure that those members who have been here last year are very happy to see how 2017 turns out, starting in October and unded up a huge spike at the end of the year.

But as the saying goes, past performance is not a indication of future success so the only thing we can do is hope that we can at least end this year with a good price. So let's see how it turns out.

When the price falls it is like an unstoppable snowball that gets bigger until it hits and breaks. Likewise with the rising price, it is like a river flowing to reach the vast ocean. The market situation may not deteriorate and there will also be no bull run until the end of this year, as long as the prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum do not fall to the lowest point all will be fine. But I still hope that there will be a significant price increase in the next few months.

The market is getting good though, I think the next months are going to be better. Its after all year end and most of the time its going to be a good months for crypto. It may not be as great as how it did last year but this will give you as a good profit if you invest in the right coin. You never go wrong with BTC, stick to BTC and you're going to be be just fine.

I will be able to invest in crypto soon and i plan to buy ether and btc because they are worth investing in. They are really good coins which are better not to invest in if you don't have experience in trading

It seems to me that October, like September, can give little hope to investors, but in reality the recession can only increase. So now it is not necessary to take active actions and be guided by the alleged preconditions of bulls.

Well, let's think about it. New revolutionary discoveries or updates in the crypto currency world have not been announced. Ordinary people have already purchased a crypto currency in 2017 and do not want to, or they do not have the opportunity to buy a crypto currency again. There are "whales" with their financing. Since the last year, everyone just talking about the market will go up in Nov dec again. But last year growth in the uptrend and continues. Even this year it's on the downtrend if the same thing will follow like last year then also it will take min 6 months to take old all-time high or even more. I think in oct also market will be like how it's running now. I don't think things will be more change. But after all, it's crypto we can't say when what happens :)

We are all after that Bull to Run again this year. But suddenly the data shows that It might not happen this Year 2018 according to some so called analyst. I'm hoping that they are all wrong and still the bullish Trends will happen again this year.

I think in October the market conditions are still like September, and we can only be patient if we want to see crypto soaring high, because to make the market more stable it takes a long time.

We are close to the bull market returning, good times ahead I would imagine. We wont go over ATH before xmas but we may just have seen the lowest point

   We can see a lots of positive Speculation about this coming October market status, Yes, we are all hoping against hope that it will come this October the long awaited Bull run of Crypto /ALT coin as posted on the market. we never know, it might really happened soon, the market structure are strong, with good fundamentals, stable price value, all of this are indicators that the inevitable  or possible Bull Run would come.. I don't want to expect too much. We've been waiting for the bull run since June but didn't happened. It went deeper instead. Some of the alts are slowly recovering so I hope by Dec I can gain enough profit. We'll just wait and see.

After the previous bitcoin dump 2014 the price was recovered more than two years. At that time, market capitalization was many times less. Meanwhile, the market has become more inert, since it takes more time to accumulate large positions. Rewriting highs may take longer than last time.

I don't think big investors will come into crypto this October because of long dow ntrend. This down trend scares investors and they will wait for market reversal and will invest later. I hope for November or December but I'm ready to wait till 2019.

In my opinion Ripple's XRP is in October spotlight. Most recent news Ripple will be paying(in XRP) and supporting most promising fintech projects. Another anticipated announcement is long awaited Xrapid that will start very soon and might change the game globally in the bank industry.

I will not be in a hurry for the month of October. Despite much speculation saying good about the market, but this is not a warranty will definitely be able to bear. many have already spread some time either but no results match expectations. It would be better to wait and keep ready in the market for any existing results.

Optimism is certainly good, but let's be realistic. Bitcoin (followed by the rest of the altcoins) will continue to drift within the existing framework. As yet there is no "pusher" that will be a catalyst for growth.

If Bitcoin can break $7000 and the SEC release some more positive (or even neutral) take on crypto, then I can definitely see some growth. Just my two cents :)

Market is very slowly, but steadily  growing. I do not think that we should expect something special from October. I also think  that pump will not be before winter, somewhere in January.

We do have different interpretations and I guess crypto always surprising us in terms of massive pumps, base from the past crypto market are hyping when last quarter starts, but eventually things didn't do the same this year there's no big pump and its still bearish, now that October starts we are

Usually everyone expecting like this. Especially those are holders. But unfortunately never happen what we expect. Actually market effects for various reason. Lot of negetive activity and news is responsible for that. Especially negetive news for ETF if reflect on crypto market. But as far as I know, few positive news around end of year. It will not bad if we expect little pump on last of year. But my own opinion, there is very low chance that btc will cross 10K on this year. If btc pump than obviously it will effect on Alt coins by the way. And I hope most of Alt coins will recover end of this year.

Sure, being optimistic is not a bad idea, but certainly we also have to understand that this is a purely speculative market, and even without some serious news or something that could push the price up, it is a very easily manipulated market and with a lot of people wanting to get rich overnight, the chances of whales instigating FOMO is always going to be there and we surely cannot discard that part. I understand we have to be realistic, but as far as this market is concerned, until we start seeing real life usage, we will keep seeing the market moving based on greed and FOMO.

I also noticed that lots of traders were selling at the fall of the market. Now it is not clear with the Etherum. I have big doubts that ETH will be able to fully recover in the price and grow  more than 300 dollars.

Ha, we have been hearing the same story/prognosis for months now, but who knows. I am not expecting any radical boosts at least until November, but it definitely seems that the market is stabilizing so maybe we are indeed in the "silence" stage of the silence before the storm (with positive connotations).

Bitcoin has been started on above the trend line in this early october, its good condition for btc to going up at least till $10k.

I think that a large market growth has already begun. There are many signals for this. Falls are getting smaller, positive news every day more and more - it's time to start a bull market.

Well personally, my opinion is we are still in a bear market and it will last some longer. Sure, we have seen the biggest correction so far and it will not drop that much anymore, but it's also not over most likely. The last years were really positive, it will be interesting to see how it will be this year.

I think the prediction is still speculative but till now the market is in favor of them I agree. I personally think October might see it green throughout, but not a very high rise. The manipulators will start their game probably from November mid or end, that is what I guess is going to happen. But even if they don't act like the previous year, we hope to see BTC at near to $15k with some good altcoins giving a good amount of returns as well.

I expect a change for the better from the end of October and the beginning of November. You can already proseldit a chain of positive news on cryptocurrency. Starting from the abolition of the ban on Google advertising and ending with the launch of Bakkt.

I certainly hope that the market will be able to welcome more investors and funds, so that the market can turn around, and the coins in my wallet can also get a chance to rise.

For a while now, we have always seen the last quarter being the quarter for the bulls and we have seen how things have always been over the years in this respect.

However, no one can really say what time or the part of the month when we are going to see anything serious and I would not be surprised bitcoin may not even make much move upward and could go sideways during this period while the alts tend to do its thing within this short term.

The market is highly speculative and we sure know how traders and gullible investors can quickly react to a moving market and before you know it, FOMO kicks in.

Yeah, I have been noticing the improvement with alts lately and I am so certain we might be entering a new month and the last quarter of the year where bulls may likely want to be taking their course on the market as the case may be.

We have seen a lot of the altcoins beaten so bad over the last few months and how badly they have all gone down and now is the time to just start picking them up as they are already showing the possibility of making a move before the end of the year. Nothing may be guaranteed yet, but at least, it is worth hoping for knowing how smart moneys would want to participate and take in profit.

I have the same optimism all year around, since making a good profit from the last I consider every year a good for bitcoin and the whole market, it's just now it's quite different because there are so many funds and bad news going around that some investors are losing confidence in the market.

If there is really new money injected into this market then this is definitely a good thing. But it is not clear whether the facts will develop according to our expectations. At least until now, there is no clear indication that the market will really start to enter the bull market.

My opinion, I agree with you. As far as I'm concerned, almost all the companies who have been doing a bounty campaign nowadays have accomplished their market goals. This shows that investors are capitalizing on strong capitalization. These companies have seen the price of their currency increasing very much. These things are determined by the fact that the market will grow. Investors are taking care of all these things.

I do not think that we will see strong price changes in the market in the near future. Although everything can be. This market is very unpredictable. We will wait and hope for growth.

Not everyone is expecting the month of October to be positive. I was thinking that October will be a month of short recovery from the market then going down to its lowest  price. This could result on increase of demand due to low price and it can be a preposition for the next bull ru. Who knows what will happen next.

Cryptocurrency market is not very predictable. Tomorrow something can happen that you do not expect. I believe that the size of investments in cryptocurrency in general will depend on the market situation. If the market shows stability and starts growing, then investors will start investing in cryptocurrency again.

I also hope that even waiting for the market to recover long enough. Hopefully, this month is an excellent start to the strong market capitalization of new investors with new capital as well, thus increasing the market for price increases and immediately leaving a severe decline from the previous month.

October is a start of Q4, which is one of the most popular periods for ICO teams to release their products. It may allso fuel one more wave of ICOs, so I will be able to finally stop hodling and sell all my altcoins to cover all the losses. I wish all these teams to keep their roadmap.

Good thinking and I also face the same thing this month. Given that it has long survived with the current conditions, that almost all coins do not have the price as desired.

I think that in October there is not much progress. There are not many new investors in the market and it may be like the past few months.

I think this month might be something more exciting. We have been saying this for a long time so we do not know if that would be true or not maybe the market will stay stagnant but in all honesty the prices were too much same for a long time and it must be just around the corner for a huge change.

I hope it would be a huge increase in the price but I think any huge change would be possible since it has been stagnant for a long time so it can drop as well. I hope it will go beyond 9k finally, if it goes beyond 9k than it usually keeps going up for a long time and it would be harder to get back down to 6k again.

There is a project that is going to allow invest ICOs via bank acounts using the mobile app only. They promised to release working solution in October 2018. If this thing is real, I hope that market will be able to recover a little bit. What are your thoughts on this point?

Well, most of experts thought that current crisis is connecte with vacation period and nobody goes to vacation in October. It is time for market to finally recover and prove every sceptic that cryptocurrencies are alive and shining. In other case, it may be the beginning of the end.

There are many people out there who have the same expectations as you, that is, by hoping that the price situation will experience a high jump. It is necessary to know that I wish every day and have the same hope. Even though there is no sign yet of bullrun, I wait patiently.

Now we can finally start push the ICO teams to releae the product. I consider that even more fakes will be revialed in this month, but cyrptocurrency market is getting better and there is no place for fraud in bright blockchain future. Peace to everybody' house!

Of course want to get very fast growing but really I ready for every situation. Any market situation give a possibility get a money and get a useful experience which can help in the future.

I think in any month, many who are interested in cryptocurrency, invest in it or is its holder have such hopes. I wanted to magically the whole market instantly turned into a bull, but our hopes are not fulfilled yet. Of course, a lot of positive news comes out recently, which sets me up positively. I'll watch.

It is the middle of October already but we do not see any progress at all. I guess, nothing will change on the market this month. The positive changes can be waited later, probably, in December of this year.

As far as we can assert today, I think that all the same it would probably be better to simply rely on charts, because today it’s best to try to start the investment process, because today there was an event that seriously affects the market as a whole.

I share your sentiments for hope.  I think we all hope that the market will turn around and be strong again.  However, I just don't see it happening until there is a greater amount of massive adoption across many facets of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.  Until such time, the market will be dictated by such things that has proven so far in history.  Such as bitcoin halving cycles mostly.

as we see today, you're wrong. because the bottom bitkina is not yet achieved.  and the market proved it.

i guess this statement turns out to be truth for the next october. as for now, well, we just should be awaiting for our christmas mirracle, the only thing that gives me any hope for the last few weeks ;D

We had lived pretty bad a mounth in september but all of us know that market has lived same scenarios in the last 8 years so why we lost our reliance about this market and technology ?

New investors did not come in October, did not come in November and will not come until the market starts to grow. Who is interested in buying coins that fall in price every day?

2017 is the best year for the whole and 2018 is a nightmare, we look forward to 2019 whether it will be flat, experience an increase or decrease and I'm sure everyone is waiting
