Crypto market is bullish or Just a small recover?
I think it is ready to start a new up trend:
- It has been down for about 9 months. Enough time for reversing
- BTC/USDT broke some important resistances in mid-terms
- It is in Q4 now.


What do you think? Please share your idea(s).

I also think that bearish trend is going to end soon or might be ended already but final confirmation will be when Bitcoin will break 6,910 which is at 61.8% fib level.

I think this is not recover just for small recovery and i hope will be bullish in November and December.

About market being down for 9 months,it was down for even longer period of time,so it is possible for this to go on for 9 more months.And during this period those whales are pumping and dumping crypto, and making profit on shorts and longs.So even in bull market,they are still making significant amound of money,and before they decide,we cant get into bull market.
For example,its not bad to check this twitter account     https://twitter.com/bitmexrekt?lang=en that tracks  Bitmex and liquidated shorts/longs,and you will realise its all one big game for now.
But of course,i would love to see bull market,its just that im not too optimistic at the moment,hopefully my gut feeling is  wrong and we see similar scenario like last year :D

The bullish trend always pleases investors, how long the market will recover, it depends on many factors,and most importantly on investors who will invest in projects supported by cryptocurrency.

I understand that we are already in the Q4 of 2018 where most of the speculation is on this quarter where cryptos will hit the bullish market as expected by the majority of the investors and supporters. Most of the cryptos are green as of this writing but it is not consider yet to be the bullish market we are expecting to happen. However, I strongly believe that bullish market could basically be felt between November to December this year and will see what will happen next. Keep holding and wait for the right timing for it will soon to happen.

The current state of the cryptocurrency market can rather be described as stagnation. With the exception of the XRP coin, which added 100% of the cost in 3 days, because of the good news, the rest of the top-level cryptocurrencies, added 2-3% of the cost, then lose them again. I am still convinced that by the end of the year a trend change in the market should not be expected  :-\

This time it is a small recovery only, but we need a lot of small recoveries without breaking main support at $6000 to change the market mood and get the new bullish trend.

This is just a small push up, because many people began to actively put short positions, so it was probably just a short squeeze, as it usually happens after a large number of participants in this event.

Its just try to break the resistance to change the trend, the market still on sideways condition, just because we're in Q4 2018 doesn't mean crypto will go to the moon. We need to know what news that will make it come true, technically is important as well.
For me, the main factor for cryptocurrencies will grow not about end of the year.

Still, now there is no sign of bullish for the crypto market. So, wait for the long rally in the upward curve of the chart in Bitcoin and the other signal is driven coin.

Real breakouts and bullish signals are still yet to be seen but i agree that market sentiment has changed from negative to neutral and as soon as it turns positive we will see huge volume back in the market and hence the bulls, so i think next few weeks can be deciding about bulls in the market.

As for me, recovery is already impossible. Of cource, cryptocurrence market may rise again, but it need to change slighlty beforehead. Maybe ETH and BTC will not be leaders, but there are new heroes to take their place. We need to let go this stage and look forward.

The whole year the market was down. I hope that people do not want to see the market bleeding anymore. The new wave of investors should come and with the mass adopting, the market will also recover and achieve the new hights.

Just a small recovery, at this point i am convinced that there is no way that we are going to see another bull market this year. Way too much money has left the market already and unless there is some kind of massive investing in bitcoin, then we are better off not expecting any bull market again. I think that we could see a good bit of recovery though

9 months is not enough time for reversing, because that depends on new and for the moment the positive news about etf´s are not materialising so no way it will recover like this.

It is too early to say that the market is recovering, but many predict and hope that the growth and recovery of the cryptocurrency market will all be in Q4.

They just keep selling. It's really hard to tell if we are going up or down. Volatility is gone since July. With the volume where it is seems like bots are just trading this market. Another reason to be bearish is that all the bullish sentiment has been related to ETF which will not be approved in a bot traded heavily manipulated market. That being said. When the whales are ready to create another FOMO pump there is ABSOLUTELY NO STOPPING THEM.

The length of the month does not indicate the market reversing its way more than that. Well, it's a speculative market we can't really predict the outcome of the market. But how long the market has been bearish does not have any correlation with reversing market.

Yes, I have visited the coinmarketcap and find some altcoins price have increased 5%-10% today, maybe tomorrow will drop again, if I am the investors I will not invest in this now, price pump and dump everyday, all altcoins have almost dropped 80% compared to last year.

Wouldn't suggest to go all in on current market. You are right pumps/dumps are still here and market is huge manipulated.

indeed everyone really misses bullish and this year is almost over but there is no fundamental reason to start bullish. some people believe that bullish will happen at the end of the year and if it happens later it might not be bullish, but only a pump.

In my opinion, what happens with the crypto market today is still a small recovery, not yet full. I hope the bullis will happen in the near future or at the end of the year.

gradual recovery will happen I guess. While this is probably already in a condition that is quite stable and there is no decrease of more than made many people cry. but to reach a high point as before is not an easy matter since the fall of the value of which is quite deep. for current state isn't the same as what was there last year and maybe a lot of people will increase speculation later this year could be wrong.

I believe the market will continue its bull run until december just like what happened last year. The last quarter of the year is usually the time when crypto will greatly recover which is why hodling is the key when the market was down

Altcoins are quite mixed at the moment with some still falling but others recovering a little from last week’s rout. In the top ten XRP, Stellar and Cardano are still dropping 2-3 percent on the day while EOS has gained 2.6% to pull itself back to $5.

I think the market is just recovering. It is normal for the market to increase especially after the bear market that was going on for months. Let's not assume that the bull market is coming since the price is still low and the recovery is minimal. The prices also decreases after it went up so I won't consider it bullish.

I really hope the market will be able to be bullish at the end of the year, but it looks like the market is not supportive for bullish, and maybe there will only be a small recovery at the end of 2018.

I am sure that huge recovery is just on its way. We need to be a little more patient and give all the new project some time to rise again. By the way, there is growth of several top cryptocurrencies and BTC is not the whole market. We all need some time to be awarded for hodling.

bitcoin is currently getting ready for the bull market in the near future but that doesn't mean it will start right away. it still needs more time to be accumulated by the whales who don't want it to rise.
also none of this has anything to do with the crypto market because altcoins will get pumped most of the times if bitcoin is stable. otherwise if bitcoin starts the bull run they have a higher chance of getting dumped.

The current market I think has not recovered yet. I think it will take a long time for people to get discouraged and that is the time the market starts to recover and the trend is up. Anyway, I still hope the market will recover as soon as possible.

I think it will be slow and steady growth. I don't think we will have huge jumps in the soon future.

Bitter truth, this might be a small recovery yes the price fluctuates everyday there is no stability in the market. Hold your coins and wait for few more days. I strongly believe it will recover slowly.

I think the market is currently only being corrected. and there are no signs of a bullish event. it seems we have to wait until mid-October to be able to ascertain what will happen at the end of the year. for now I don't dare say that the market is bullish.

When the market is in sideways movement, it would be better if one knows how to trade for the short term and take advantage of the fluctuation because you would earn much more for a short amount of time than wait for the time when bitcoin makes a parabolic movement again which may or may not happen in the future. If you are a serious crypto enthusiast then you should study trading so that even if the market is not doing well, you are still earning from it.

I think that we have not entered the bull market yet and the price increases are a price arrangement. In particular, we do not see a significant increase in the last few days and the market volume is not as much as before, I can easily prove that we are not yet in the bullish period. In addition, there are no such quiet processes in the bull period, and prices do not change as stable as today. After a period of 10 months, it is nice to see an upward trend and it is a happy news for the investor, but it is not the right idea to associate these changes with the bull market.

I agree. I think it is really a recovery and some more time the market is bullish again for sure. It is based on the past statistics when November and December came, the market will rise for sure. Investors need to wait to see what will.going to happen tonthe market, and also trust.

it seems like it's not a benchmark because as long as the popes still sell their altcoins, the market will never bull. in my opinion do not believe in this kind of situation, because we have seen it happen many times and it does not match expectations.

I think it's just a small recover, current situation already happened too much time, try to check coinmarketcap, found that some coins increase up to 20% in 24 hours, after few day dump back to normal price, investor just pick some coins to pump and dump now, so it's not a bullish (compare with last year peak price then you will know that), but I believe it'll happen soon  :)

I still do not see a clean picture that today could really show me how it is with the graph, I don’t see a bullish trend, because I think that as soon as it starts, we will immediately understand and feel it

Stagnation is obvious. There are a lot of negative changes and just a few could be described as positive. However, everything could be changed in the neares future, because several new blockchains are close to the release. Their potential may boost the second ICO wave and help the market to recover.

I am not sure, but I think it seems not the Bull run that we have been waiting since the second half of this year. Bitcoin and other crypto might gain significant price increase this week, but the resistant still too strong to be broken, however let see how the price go untill next week, or maybe until the end of October.

yes of course it's still too early to bull run. we have to wait even longer until the altcoin has the power to get past the point of resistant.

It is perfect time for investors. ETH is low, other altcoins are rising very slowly, so everybody has a chance to buy some coins for affordable price. There are also good conditions for expirienced traders, who are capable of predictin the growth and making good profits.

From all indications,  there us nothing bullish about the market for now . It is just recovering bit by bit, and that is what we should all expect, this recovery will not be a prompt one but rather a gradual process. I believe we will still experience bull run but it'snot going to be sudden as we experienced before.

Now that's a hard one to answer but fi you want to make serious money come the next bull run, then it's best to load up on some alts that might bring in the x 5 or x 10 returns and then on the way down once the market retraces again just put a portion of your profits in bitcoin and hold as a hedge. This is what I will do now in the next bull run, I want to hold Bitcoin in the next bear market and day trade other alts and load up again when everything has retraced like 60-80%. I don't want to make the same mistake next bull run and just sit there holding my bags until they go down 90%.

i don't think crypto market will be bullish or recover so fast, I mean some people might say that the crypto market will be bullish or recover in Q4 but keep in mind that it's just a prediction

I really want to start a bullish market. But most likely we are seeing now is just the recovery. it upsets me.

I assume it is just a small recovery, it can only be considered bullish if uptrend movement remain consistent for certain period of time but this market is still bearish.

We are experiencing now a small recover, the crypto market is moving slow to the mountain.

Yes mate, it is just a small recovery, something like a warm up for that long awaited bullish run of the year. The fourth quarter of the year could be the positive highlights of the cryptocurrency because a lot of speculations going around that bull run will be happening before the end of the year 2018.

My opinion may be different from most people. I think cryptocurrency will be in a long period of adjustment, so the bear market is unlikely to end so soon. Only when the underlying foundation enough to support commercial applications, the bull market will really come.
Now all this is just unknown.

We are almost going up, it might just zigzag for awhile and waits for new development news form the teams. I can see there are tokens which are pumped high in the coin marketcap up to 60% in a day. You can't believe that is happening in this bear season but it does happen, you can check the list of coins with huge volume. Right when the percentage drops, BTC is also rising up. Kinda relative response with altcoins dumping and buying with BTC.

As far as Market Capitalization is Concern it has recover a little bit. But its far from the previous data way back 2017 so if we say its Bullish I think its a wrong term By the way its only first month of 4th quarter 2018 maybe the Market will show some positive movement in the coming weeks who knows!

Hello, I think that the market is currently bearish and the next month will not change the trend. But at the moment you need to accumulate a variety of tokens.

I think it is a small recovery not the bull trend yet. The bearish scenario can last for years and I think the next
bull trend we will see in 2020 only. Until that we can see some ups and downs. But, in crypto the situation can
change in one day 180 degrees.

We cannot confirm that crypto market is bullish due to its recent low value in the market. Crypto Coins are there in  market for long time and lot of traders earned good profit from crypto so it cannot be bullish instead it started recovering slowly by the year end we can see good result for crypto coins.

I agree with you, let's just be more patient in waiting for a great recovery here. We can see the history in the cryptocurrency market, the price is up and down constantly so it is very possible to rise again. I think, the coins price will rise at the end of this year.

BTC 4 hour chart has the MACD about to dip. I know TA is largely unreliable in crypto, but that specific indicator has been really reliable with BTC lately...

I think this is a small recovery. I think the bull market will start in late October. But you never know what may happen tomorrow, as the cryptocurrency market is unstable. Therefore, it remains only to guess.

While there are small changes in the market. We will see the bullish market later, we may have to wait 1-2 years.

It is just a small recover for now because it still goes down and up again, but still will stop bleed for a while and can start to think of which coins to invest.

I think the encrypted money market is starting to turn around now. You can look at some of the big exchanges'token price changes.

TA is actually very reliable in crypto and if you think it is not, trying attempting to trade without it; but at the same time, with a very volatile market you cannot just expect that every TA will always come out to give you 100% signal on direction that the market would take.

They are just there for guidelines on ways you should either be reading the market or which sentiment you should be facing. If professionals purely depend extremely on technical analysis, then there would be no need for using stop loss, will there? Every market is unstable, but as far as you know how to play your cards well, you have a strategy and you know what you are doing, you will always make the right decisions.

In my opinion bullish movement has not yet come, it just recover. But since many big traders and investors have said that it is indicating bullish move.

To be honest, everything looks not very bad on the one hand, because I think that the situation as a whole may improve as the market really shows bullish sentiment. But the situation as a whole can be different.

I have different feelings actually. I think also same like you. 9 months of bear market is really huge and people lost really big money. But also i believe before bull market
we need to some stable market . You can see the historical graphs what i meant with using stable.
On the other hand crypto always show good signs end of the years. and i am thinking about 9 months of bear market and i think after that we are in q4 now.
So in my opinion yes we can expect some bull market. but i am not sure it will be really big or small recover.

actually I can't wait to wait for the bullish trend to come, this small change is likely to be a better change for the future. I think the bullish market trend is coming soon in a few months, because this change will make progress in the crypto market and prices will start to move on up little by little.

I guess I have witnessed those good signs on December 2016 and 2017, and it is not impossible to happen in 2018. BUT, I'm not expecting a very big increase this time, too. I'm telling myself to give more time for the market to recover.

I have been using TA to trade cryptocurrency for a while now and I can say it has been very reliable.
I guess the problem a lot of people who want to trade have is that as long as they analyze the market and the market shows the possibility of bullishness, they just relax and assume everything is alright but in the real sense, nothing is actually alright, until there is a fully clear signal of the market moving up or down for a while.

This is the reason why a lot of people do not use stop loss, because they just assumed that with their knowledge of TA and knowing bullish signs, the market will always give them what they expect.

I don't think this is a Bull run, we are just in a slight recovery, seeing green and reading a lot positive news about crypto maybe its one of the reason.

It is too early to tell anyway, but from the way things have been going recently, we can actually say the cryptocurrency market is on the verge of recovery but all that depends on how bitcoin tend to move while breaking out from this sideways movement.

Bitcoin as we all know has a lot to do with the market movement generally but if we can manage to see a breakout upward, that would really be a very good sign for the market generally as that would spark up some huge growth for the altcoins that have been gearing up already for a bull run looking at the charts.

Yes from the history price of all popular coin, the bullish trend should be coming soon, because the market long time in bearish. For currenct situation price of crypto is stagnan and this sign of the market prepare to bullish.

It's a long period of time of this bearish crypto market but i think that situation will be over soon. And i think that this small recovery is just the beginning of crypto's rise, the only thing we need to do now is wait and observe the market. Goodluck to us all. 

So far this is just a small recovery. But I expect a bull market. And these expectations are not unfounded. We are waiting for the end of the year.

The charts have been going sideways for almost two weeks now. Personally, I think the bear market is almost over but of course one can never know.

To me it basically says bulls don't have the faith yet to break 6.6k BTC, bears don't want to dump any lower than +/-6.2k.

New money (market buying) is limited so we're stuck in a stalemate until something external happens (good news, bad news) triggering a significant change is overall sentiment (of existing investors) and/or new money starts flowing in again. Unless some whales conspire to make something happen of course.

To the people calling this the "bottom": I wouldn't technically call it that because the bottom means the lowest price reached. I would instead call it the price where both buyers and sellers are in an agreement. But that does not mean it cannot go lower for a few days before being quickly bought up by the bulls. I would give it a few more weeks though before calling this the bottom.

I think that the cryptocurrency market will begin to recover by the end of 2018 (beginning of 2019). I think that, by this time, 1 ETH will cost, 1000+$.

There's no bull and it hasn't recovered for a while.

You may say that its enough time for reversal but its not yet enough and no indication for the reversal.

Same words and expectation that has been said for at the end of the year but who knows if that's going to start by that time. I hope that we'll see ETH reach $1,000 again after the reversal.

When looking at a downturn so far from the beginning of the year until now would certainly be heavy for a big spike occurs. Most allow a gradual recovery is able to create market conditions became increasingly well. When large increase occurred naturally hope in once upon a time could just happen like last year, but the State in time is not the same as what is there at the moment.
