So I hope that the rumors that Facebook is exploring the possibility of using blockchain technology are reflecting what's happening in reality.

Could you please provide more details about that? I don’t think that facebook sells information (as far as I know) but they don’t particularly deprive the public of personal information of its users. It’s practically pretty open and vulnerable, but it’s not likely to be a marketplace of information. We have ourselves to blame for putting too much personal information in social media when it’s not even necessary and don’t even bother to take the measures to protect ourselves. While Facebook has the responsibility, the users should play a part of it as well. |
