In fact that all of these thread can't be considered as trending altcoin. it may have a lot o comments but it doesn't mean every of them have a lot of quality.
I thought that you must try to do a lot of effort to filter which is the thread that was having a lot of quality on the posters. That makes sense to created rank list but it seems useless. I don't know if someone is behind this Hype but we all know that ripple is centralized (If I'm not mistaken), but I guess decentralization is nearly impossible because a lot of scam ICOs will pop when no ones there to set up solid foundations and policy.

I checked the website and it says that its a trending "stories" on bitcointalk so the script is only for the forum and doesn't have any other source for those trending altcoin topics. And it's only designed to check all of those topics new and old with many views on this board.
