Maybe it will be a ripple, maybe stellar, or maybe a good old bitcoin? What do you guys think? In the future, if there's real implementation of Crypto in day to day commerce, bitcoin makes it a little difficult because its high fees and long waits for transactions to be processed. I think a crypto needs to overcome these two issues in order to penetrate in the future mainstream commerce culture

Despite the constant fluctuation with its prices, I can see bitcoin surviving for years and I do not see how it cannot still exist in the near future. That said, I also hope to see some other new altcoins to rise. Perhaps they will rise along with bitcoin, or maybe bitcoin will be the only one to keep its place in the crypto world. What do you think?

However, I think the internet will split into three or more within the next decade. Tim Berners-Lee wants to create a more decentralized version of the internet, the Chinese possibly having their own internet and then the current version and perhaps some more. My bet is on ETH or some other altcoin backed by Bitcoin. This way it resembles "virtual gold" even more.
