On January 13 this year, ETH was able to register the all-time top value of $1,349 but its price has been plunging since then although it struggled to be a giant in the second quarter (Q2) of 2018. Its price at the time of press is south of $235. Several investors believe that ETH is passing through difficulties as it’s price has been facing much bearish trend highly following price structure of BTC. Albeit, Tom Lee, the head of research at Fundstrat, is optimistic that ETH is nearly seeing a movement reversal and to rally heavily.

I think the time for reversal and recovery is now, i agree with the title that it can surge by 700% to re test its all time high value but i do not agree with next year, last year too the value grew rapidly and within weeks we saw such high price, i believe this year too we will see rapid growth again and we still have good 3 months to go in this year, im positive that it will be back and growth will be big.

I hope and believe that the Ethereum will reach $ 2,000 in the end of the year, so I buy this asset now on all the money at my disposal.

I do think it is possible for ETH to recover 700% when crypto market recover. But it depend on the market situation, i will say yes if market is able to recover by next year.

I think it will rise even higher than 700%, since it was already 1400 dollars for 1 token,and now it is around 300, so it is real from today's price, as many say the market is just beginning to emerge,so we will wait and believe that the project will bring a lot of success and growth

I can't give a definite answer on whether ethereum will surge by 700% or not but I suggest we all stop this predictions and going on with the market outlook and see what happens next year.

I very much would like it, but I have great doubts in this respect. Most likely the next year the price will strongly not grow, I think us waits for very gradual growth.

I think that this will not happen in 2019. So quickly the stories are not understood. Maybe grow up but I think the records will not beat their own. But in the future I think eth will not be bad to grow.

It seems to me - ethereum this year is very dependent on fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin, although earlier it behaved differently. Therefore, if Bitcoin does not start to grow, then the ethereum will be no higher than $ 500.

I am positive, that is only 7x from the current price. just wait for the bulls to kick back in. we are not far from it.

No way man. For that to happen Ethereum would have to fix a lot of problems, the most important of which is the fixed total number of coins, or something like introducing a controlled inflation rate. As the things stand now, the max cap of Ethers is not fixed, and there is no way we are gonna see 7x price growth.

While the maxed supply isn't capped it is controlled by the mining difficulty. The price reached the previous high at a marginally lower supply level so it's far from impossible for it to do so again if crypto can make breakthroughs in to major mainstream markets.

More than 300 percentage fall was we see in this year when the day it's if the ethereum goes to peak value along with that we may expect the decent growth on altcoins side too.

Crypto gains are very difficult to predict if 2017 is anything to go by, I won't say no because it has happended before but it is going to be a very difficult feat to achieved reason being that the market is getting matures unless people have short memory and also Ethereum now has huge number of direct competitor who are going to share its marketshare with it
