When will the profitability go back up? I used to make over $6 on each 1080ti but now my profits are cut by over half.

if are still making $3 per day, you are doing amazing, many with that gpu are barely making $0.50 per day, you will probably get millions of private messages asking how you are doing what you are stating.

For sure where that there would really be some PM's would be received by him but same as said above this is typically a troll post.I dont see that 1080 card or 1080 TI would reach out $3 per day or even $6.  :'(

The maximum you would make with that card right now if you have a low electricity like in Washington DC 0.02 Cent per kilowatt is by mining BitTube(Tube) and that is 1.7 dollars daily after removing electricity cost.

What coin are you mining as it seems that your claim is not realistic ?

if you can mine 3-6 usd it not happy yet?

everyone can mine around 1-2usd each card per day

Profit there will be more than 3 dollars a day, but not very long.

I actually do research and mine new coins that are flying under the radar.  Your not going to make big profits mining the big coins like ethereum.

Think about how we feel considering some of us where mining December 2017, When Nicehash went down for 2 weeks, and we were making $20 per Ti per Day.

You can probably make some decent money from time to time mining those new and up and coming coins which are about to get a listing soon on some exchange.

Generally nobody wants to mine a coin before it hits an exchange. Because since the coin technically has no value, you can't calculate profitability. Hence the difficulty is low.

You can actually find the coins Discord, Slack or Telegram channel and sometimes before its launched on some exchange, there are private buy and sell posts. You can use that as a guide to tell you how much a coin should be worth when it gets launched on an exchange.

The issue with this is that you need to accept the fact that it might NEVER get listed on an exchange or it might get listed and price might go down to 1 Sat.

Sadly I don't have any 1080Ti, so I'll not asking OP.

Even I'm just making $5 a day (avg) for each rig (6 GPUs) that's before electricity and Internet bill.

Not all coins can make $3 per day because I believe as soon the new coin listed on exchanges expect for the price to drop fast because of bounties and airdrops. And I think there is no stable that you can make a high profit when mining new coins.

Ok, tell us if what coin you are mining today that can make you $3 USD per day with GTX 1080 ti?

I doubt OP will tell us which coins, moreover if it right (OP make $3 a day with single 1080 Ti on this current situation) or maybe auto-switch mining, I mean isn't direct mining. Who knows, right?
