I know that mainly people are frustrated, because it's been nearly a year since the huge price drop. Portfolios are still 70% down and nothing seems to promise the brighter future. The beginning is quite crappy, to be honest:

It's been almost 10 years since the first one, bitcoin, was created, no the first ones. It didn't prove anything about the free market, as that had already been proven. Then, it is true that there was a great deal of ideology behind the whole thing, but it is a vague and basic way to state it. The rest of the article is not bad but not great either.

I don't usually lose hope for this kind of situation, but as I see from the market this is the best chance to join the change for the world of cryptocurrency. And I don't really mind on losing it all for the risk that I made for this community.

What can I say about this...just lol!!

Next time when you write an article try to follow one idea. don't try to write down everything you know about bitcoin in 10 lines and stick to the main path. Otherwise, you might end the post with a conclusion that is the total opposite of the first paragraph, just like you did.

The only one big advantage of this bearish cryptocurrency market is the chance to invest. If you are a real believer of cryptocurrency you will surely take this advantage of a lifetime. Buying this life changing dip is just one of many ways one can profit during a bear market. There are some serious benefits of a bear market that we fail to realized.

The article is rather Touch and Go. not really explaining stuff.

This bearish is considered good for some is because they now have the opportunity to buy but I think the majority doesn't find it amusing though. Yes they can buy what can make the new investors that will come in to trust this market if this is going to happen to them in the end. Most if not all felt they are scammed. Those who think not just find the solace in the advice of some people here about holding.

It's a massive buy-in for some investors, but there are also some investors left behind in the market, who are not afraid to buy them because they fear they will collapse and lose their capital.

Oh, wow, I really thought there would be more people with appoximately the same views of the crypto market that I have  :-\. It's really sad to read such negative feedback, but it's better than nothing and I'll try to take into account what you guys wrote here.
I also wonder why nobody made a comment about the main point. Do you agree that $5900 seems to be the barrier that expresses the price people believe in regardless to bad news? Do you think it's an advantage to have such information, or maybe it would've been better if this bearish trend didn't occur?

The many are mostly newbies i would think and those who dont see the long term picture
of bitcoin and other crypto. These vearish times are great for exactly why they are called
bear markets, stocking up!

It is the best time for any investor as they can buy at lesser price and sell at higher. Also people with less money can get a bigger qty as compared to buying at the nigh of the btc.  Always keep buying on the dips as this also help you to average you price.

We shouldn't worry about the bear market. We may have lost almost 50% of our investments into crypto but there's still a lot of potential for us to profit by purchasing more and wait for the market to recover. No one can predict the fluctuations of this very volatile market, but I'm positive that this technology has still so much to offer and if the adoption rate will increase we surely can attain stability and hopefully more profit by taking advantage of this bear market through purchasing more crypto and do long term investment.

I have similar observations about these statements of yours in the article:

As against the common experience this period last year, a wave of good/bad news would have exploded the market in respective direction. However, the case is different this season; the fact is that the market is becoming more resistant to breaking news and all kinds of FUD. And like you said no one is ready to sell less or at loss no matter what the case may be, leading to more stability. I think this is one big advantage of bearish market.

OP, I appreciate the attempt, but before you write an article try to get your facts straight and get someone to proofread it. I always say that if you don't know a foreign language well enough you shouldn't force it by writing poorly made texts. It's better to write for a smaller audience but not let yourself be compromised and laughed at.

Upon reading the article, I wasn't able to see what you were trying to convey, perhaps a more fool-proof idea would be nice (?) You haven't discussed anything substantial regarding your title, so I'm afraid that your writing efforts wouldn't be appreciated.


The crypto-market is no longer affected by FUD or any other mainstream news concerning services and organizations built around it, which to me is quite surprising given that only 3 years ago, one simple news from China hurts the market so bad that it feels like the Chinese are the sole controllers of the market.



Not in all cases, see this article (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/insider-stock-sales-by-company-executives-soar-to-a-record-pace/) wherein executives are reportedly selling their companies' stocks and shares for lower-than-usual figures, releasing the expression that they are selling for a loss. Sometimes, cutting off losses in anticipation of even greater losses is better than losing it all.

Better be safe than sorry, I guess.

I think almost everyone is frustrated, because it's too late to sell Bitcoin Cryptocurrency when there is a very sharp decline, the bearish market is really terrible, oh yeah the article you created on medium.com is quite useful,

I heard a lot of news that the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will rise by the end of 2018, do you believe that.

This is definitely a good time to make a long-term investment decision. As we have seen, the market has stayed at the bottom and has been bleak for more than two weeks. This has never happened in the Crypto market for years and we can assume that this is the bottom of the market. Investing now will bring great profit in the future.

I'm happy to finally see a person who agrees with the main point, rather than focuses on details and beliefs that might differ.
Thanks for calling my article useful. I also heard a lot of people thinking about the prices going up in the nearest future. I do hope this will be the case, but at the same time I wouldn't like to see another huge pump, followed by a year of dump, so a slow rise to 10k by the end of 2018 could be enough for now.

I think the major advantage of bearish market is buying at a very low price and if you are opportune to get the pump of the coins then you will make profits.  Outside the foregoing reason I think the bearish market is the bad one as it show the state of the assets.

There are a lot of opinions out there are a lot of expectations and a lot of different views, and the problem with your blog post is simple, your entire thesis for the $5900 value being the resistance level is based on...the price not dropping below 5900$.
Common, what is there to discuss?

You could have just asked a simple question such as "Is the $5900 the lowest price will ever see or will manipulation take BTC below ?" and you would have reached all the points that your 40 lines wall of text covered.

Again, you asked people what they think about your article, not about their own views.

two huge mistakes are found in this little statement here.
1. if anybody had lost 70% of their investment then it means they shouldn't be investing in first place because they have no idea what they are doing. and this is a very serious thing. 70% is ridiculously huge even for a volatile market like cryptocurrencies.

2. calling it "portfolio" when it  clearly isn't one. what it is however is a bag of similar objects with same performances. they go up in pumps and they all get dumped like each other. some a little bigger than the rest. having multiple of them doesn't make it a "portfolio" it only makes it into a tool to fool yourself into believing you have diversified.

The big benefit is for the people who are late to get into crypto space, can take the advantage of the bearish market right now by investing in some top coins, as the bull may come at any time may be in coming December. Crypto market will never go in incline order it will get crash at sometimes, so for people who invested in the last December by thinking that market will go up from now on should now be patient and wait for the right time, so it is the right saying never invest what you could not afford to lose.

I think the only advantage of the current crypto market is to by more stock because very soon the market is going to recover bank and you stand to make good gains from your portfolio.

It's true. After a 70% drop and a period of capitulation there is always an uptrend. If you have money lying around and doing nothing on a 1% savings account you can always try Bitcoin. With its high volatility that results in huge yearly swings it's going to go up for sure. The problem for many is that it can also temporarily go down but if you have the nerves you will be rewarded.
